Lil Yachty Asked Drake To Mediate His Beef With Nicki Minaj

Lil Yachty Asked Drake To Mediate His Beef With Nicki Minaj

Go against Nicki, it’s gonna cost ya! And Lil Yachty is still paying his dues for his role in the Nicki Minaj and Cardi B beef.

Yachty asked the Barbz for forgiveness in hopes that the Queens rapper would unblock him on Twitter.

Lil Boat tried using her fan base to get back into her good graces. “Yesterday I went on Twitter to retweet my tweets from middle school of me praising Nicki, and then I went on Instagram live to let the world know Nicki Minaj has me blocked.”

“It’s the Barbz, man. They’re still killing me,” Yachty said when asked about the beef. “I woke up yesterday to a heat of fire under my butt from the Barbz. And the thing about that was I think I’m just big on loyalty. I got a lot of love for Cardi B and she’s a damn-near family members so I’ll do whatever. I’m gonna ride. But I never—I’ve loved Nicki Minaj since I was a child.”

Yachty even asked Drake for a hand but The Boy clearly doesn’t got the juice like that. “I even hit Drake, I’m like, ‘Yo Drake, tell Nicki I love her. I love her to death,’” Yachty said laughing. “I checked this morning, I’m still blocked.”

Nicki Minaj was vocal about how hurtful her feud with Cardi B was in the past, and many people rode the “Nicki hate train” like Yachty, and fans speculate that Drake was on board at a point in time.

Do you think Nicki should forgive Yachty and unblock him?

Quality Control’s Pierre ‘Pee’ Thomas Denies Allegations of Malpractice in Migos Lawsuit

Quality Control's Pierre "Pee" Thomas Denies Allegations of Malpractice in Migos Lawsuit

Migos filed a lawsuit against their longtime lawyer, Damien Granderson, for malpractice.

Variety reports the documents states Granderson “abused his position of trust as Migos’ fiduciary from the moment he was retained as Migos’ lawyer” and “cheated [the group] out of millions of dollars.”

The complaint also notes that Granderson has “glaring conflicts of interest” because he’s also Quality Control’s attorney. Now Quavo, Offset, and Takeoff are seeking millions in damages.

Granderson negotiated the deals with 300 Entertainment and Capitol Music Group/Quality Control and allegedly hid the extent of which QCM would be profiting. The deal “would allow Capitol to distribute all albums that QCM produced and that QCM was actually profiting far more handsomely than was apparent from the face of the documents that Granderson personally presented to Migos for immediate execution,” the complaint reads.

Per Variety, the group claims Granderson “failed to disclose both the complete nature of his relationship with QCM and the complete nature of the conflict in representing both QCM and Migos.”

This lawsuit will clearly have a negative effect on the trio’s relationship with the label. The label’s CEO, Pierre “Pee” Thomas denied all allegations in a lengthy statement. He said he “will not stand by and let Quality Control Music’s reputation and everything we have built and sacrificed be tarnished by allegations of unfair and unjust business practices.”

“It is unfortunate that the same people that we have worked hard for, provided opportunities for, and championed for are now alleging that we have participated in any kind of immoral or unfair business practices or took advantage of them and their careers, especially while we are dealing with the death of an artist on our label that was dear to us,” Pee began. “We have always practiced honest business and complete transparency from the beginning when we started Quality Control Music.”

It is unfortunate that the same people that we have worked hard for, provided opportunities for, and championed for are now alleging that we have participated in any kind of immoral or unfair business practices or took advantage of them and their careers, especially while we are dealing with the death of an artist on our label that was dear to us. We have always practiced honest business and complete transparency from the beginning when we started Quality Control Music. We built this business on family values, which has been so hard to do when you are dealing with so much pride and ego. The problem that I have been struggling with in this business as black man is jealousy, hate, division, and lack of communication. I was a millionaire before I got in the music business and for me to know the sacrifices I have made for the people that I have invested in and put every dollar, blood, sweat, and tears into is nonsense. I will not stand by and let Quality Control Music’s reputation and everything we have built and sacrificed be tarnished by allegations of unfair and unjust business practices. I am a student of this game and I have watched several black record label owner’s get destroyed by the same things that I am facing right now. This is why majority of the people in this business end up in financial turmoil and ultimately failing to reach their full potential. It is hard enough to be fighting and battling with corporations and the powers that be, I am not doing it with those who I consider family. I love my artists and I love my team. Everyone has their own lawyers. I understand in this business that you are not always going to end with the people you started with. I say that to say, I am not forcing anybody to be in business with us that has a problem and cannot communicate and does not want to work as a unit. Everything is negotiable. I wish my whole team more money, more blessings, and continued success. #longlivemarlo🙏🏾

Cardi B Explains What Happened at QC’s Stripper Bowl: ‘Y’all Wasn’t Entertaining’

Quality Control held its annual Stripper Bowl event during Super Bowl weekend in Miami and there was a lot of controversy surrounding it.

A few dancers that worked that night blasted the record label for their low compensation. Cardi B, who is on the label’s roster, took the situation personally because as we all know she used to strip.

“I felt like I was obligated to throw money … It felt like at one point n***as didn’t want to throw money because y’all weren’t entertaining,” she explained. “Y’all was fuckin’ standing there like a concert … but then again, since the money had to be split … I felt like that’s not fair that the bitches that was working their ass off had to split money with y’all fuckin’ stank-ass bitches that were just standing there like, ‘I don’t care. I’m going to get money anyways.’ No, that’s not how it works.”

The Invasion of Privacy rapper added that she’s going to make sure that QC is more hands-on at next year’s Stripper Bowl. “We gonna make sure less than 80 bitches are allowed to work, so everybody can make enough and great money,” she said. “We’re going to make sure there’s more security … so n***as or bitches won’t pick up the fuckin’ money from the floor … We gonna make sure there are less girls, but all them fuckin’ girls better dance their ass. And if you’re not dancing, you will go home.”

QC’s Pee echoed Cardi B’s statements claiming the label had no control over the logistics of the event. But next year already sounds promising.

Lil Yachty Reveals he Wrote Yung Miami’s Verses in City Girls’ ‘Act Up’

Lil Yachty pretty much claimed to write the City Girls’ smash hit, “Act Up” in its entirety.

In an interview with Kerwin Frost the Teenage Emotions rapper set the record straight about how much he contributed to the song because people assumed he was credited with only a couple lines. According to this interview, the only part he didn’t write was JT’s last verse. This could be true because JT does have writing credits on the song alongside her label mate and Isaac Earl Bynum.

“He may have said like one thing in the studio and they credit him,” Yachty said. “I wrote the whole song except for JT’s last verse. But everything that everyone is singing and all. I wrote the whole thing.”

“I just thought like them. I know them personally,” he said. “I know what women like to hear…what’s just some raunchy shit?”

Fans were blown away by Lil Yachy’s ability to write such a women-centered raunchy hit.
