Lil Wayne Says His Net Worth Online Is Fake!

Lil Wayne Says Today's Music 'Lacks Some Creativity'

While the internet seems to have the ability to answer every question you may have, it’s also important to separate the real from the fake. With this being said, it seems the net worths of these major celebrities might not be entirely true. Plus, how can you really scale one’s net worth anyways?

Insert Lil Wayne, who definitely shared his two cents on the matter. The “A Milli” rapper recently did an interview with Culture Millennials, speaking about how he “doesn’t have a cent close to” the number listed on Google.

Wayne explains, “Honestly, I’ma let everybody know now: when you go check a motherfucker’s net worth and that shit be saying some crazy numbers, I don’t have a cent close to that shit. I don’t have that, but I guess they be meaning that’s what I’m worth. So I be always calling my agent and being like, ‘I’m telling you, bro, I’m gonna fire the shit out of you ’cause I don’t need you.’ I Googled that, you know what I mean? I’m a zillion dollar n*gga on Google bro.”

He continues, “They smart. They know what they talking about. It’s motivation, that’s all. It’s just motivation.”

While Lil Wayne may be swimming in money, he keeps it real by saying he doesn’t have that kind of bread in real life. Regardless, Wayne’s whole career should motivate anyone chasing their dream to work hard and always remain true to themselves.

This is interesting as now we wonder if Jay-Z’s net worth is actually true. Forbes recently reported Hov’s net worth to be $2.5 billion, which nearly doubled compared to the previous year of $1.4 billion.

Either way, we definitely should stop believing Google regarding celebrities’ net worth!

[WATCH] DJ Envy Starts Debate For Saying 50 Cent Would Beat Lil Wayne In Verzuz Battle

Screen Shot 2023 03 24 at 12.58.21 PM

On the most recent episode of Apple Music’s Rap Life Review featuring Lowkey, Nadaska, and Eddie Francis, two of the three said that Lil Wayne would have to sequence his songs in the right order in a Verzuz battle in order to beat 50 Cent.

Lowkey said, “Wayne don’t have a Get Rich Or Die Tryin.’” I ain’t sayin’ 50 gonna wash Wayne but if Wayne’s not sequenced right, and it’s not positioned correctly, that could be a very long f***ing night.”

Envy and Charlamagne added on to the convo on The Breakfast Club with Charlamagne agreeing with Lowkey, saying, “Yes, Lil Wayne doesn’t have a Get Rich but Lil Wayne has massive, massive amounts of hits… One album cannot win you a Verzuz.” Envy cut him off by adding, “He is right… Get Rich or Die Tryin’ is a classic album but you can’t sit there and act like Lil Wayne doesn’t have classic bodies of work.”

Charlamagne said Fif “would need something more than just Get Rich Or Die Tryin’  to go against one of the top five, potentially top 3, greatest rappers alive.” DJ Envy ended the debate by saying that 50 Cent would win that battle.”

See the debate below.

Lil Wayne’s ‘Dedication 2’ is Heading to Streaming Services with Bonus Tracks

Lil Wayne’s 'Dedication 2' is Heading to Streaming Services with Bonus Tracks

Lil Wayne is the Best Rapper Alive, and if you’re a real fan of Weezy, you’re a fan of his mixtapes.

Recently, DJ Drama hopped on the Rap Radar podcast to reveal some exciting news: Lil Wayne’s Dedication 2 will be hitting streaming platforms very soon.

DJ Drama tells Elliott Wilson and B. Dot, “If it’s Wayne, it wasn’t original music so it couldn’t go on streaming platforms. I just feel like today in 2023, if we gon’ do it, let’s do it. It might take a little bit of time, but it can be done. Speaking of that, we are dropping Dedication 2 on streaming platforms this year. And it’s going to have some new music along with it, so that’s pretty exciting.”

Dedication 2 serves as Tunechi’s fifth mixtape, hosted by DJ Drama as the second installment in his Gangsta Grillz series. The project, released in 2006, is revered as one of the most critically-acclaimed mixtapes in the genre of Hip-Hop as a whole. Beyond it finding success on both iTunes and retail stores, it even cracked the Billboard charts — pretty unheard of for a mixtape back in the day.

The amount of time Drama is referring to is due to the number of samples and borrowed music that has made the tape extra hard for clearance.

Clocking in at 25 tracks total, Dedication 2 sees Wayne rapping over some of the biggest songs in the rap game, including Tupac’s “Ambitionz Az a Ridah,” Rick Ross’ “Hustlin’” and Three 6 Mafia’s “Poppin’ My Collar.” Features include T.I., Juelz Santana, Pharrell, Curren$y, Remy Ma, Mack Maine, and more.

At the top of last year, 2022, fans were elated when Wayne’s 2011 tape Sorry 4 The Wait hit streaming services. Now, we wait patiently for Dedication 2 to do the same!

Melle Mel Says Lil Wayne Can’t Be The Best Rapper Ever Because He Uses Auto-tune

melle mel

Melle Mel has definitely been letting his opinions on rappers be known ever since Billboard released its list of the top 50 rappers. First, he said that Eminem wouldn’t be a top 5 rapper if he was white, and now he’s refuting Lil Wayne’s “best rapper of all time” claim because of his use of auto-tune.

The revelation came from a recent interview with Art Of Dialogue where he said that Wayne can’t be the rest rapper of all time because “people don’t even know his real voice.”

“How could you know. How?” he said of Wayne, who bagged the No.7 spot on the list.

Mel continued: “If his voice is on autotune, was something wrong with his voice for them to put the autotune on his voice? Or is it just something that they did in the studio to give it that rawness? But how could you know?”

He added that if Grandmaster Flash and The Furious 5 had used auto-tune to record “The Message,” nobody would have taken them seriously.

“It would’ve made the record sound a little bit more cheesier,” he said. “If you have five capable ‘so-called great rappers’ on a panel, I guarantee you, Lil Wayne would not be No.1,” he added.

In a recent interview with Zane Lowe, Weezy said that his no. 7 spot on Billboard’s top 50 rappers list was inaccurate and he should be at no. 1.

“Man, who the hell is before me?” Weezy said after Lowe asked him about his thoughts about the list. “Was the list including ALL Hip Hop, like before and after as well? I can deal with that.” Weezy added: “I will tell you that I am a muthafuckin’ one. Everybody whose names you named, they also know I’m number one. Go ask ’em. They know what it is.”

Lil Wayne Canceled Rolling Loud Set Because of Mandatory Police Search

Lil Wayne joins Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 to discuss his new song “Kant Nobody” (feat. DMX). He tells Apple Music about working with Swizz Beatz, why fans are getting the song now, staying off of social media, what fans can expect from ’The Carter 6’, his thoughts on coming in at Number Seven on Billboard’s list of the Top 50 Greatest Rappers of all time, competition in rap, supporting Drake from early on, being a singular force in hip hop, how he stays healthy, and more.

When Talking about his new DMX-featured “Kant Nobody” track, Tunechi says, “That’s my brother first of all…Swizz. Thats the way we work, we got a billion bangers and just pick one to put out whenever we feel like it.” He continues, “Everyone around me knows that I don’t do social media. With that said, the world can end and if it ends on social media I would not know. I’d still be walking around. If it doesn’t happen through sports, I don’t know it happened. With that said, my bro Mac said he was a little upset about something that came out about rap or something like that?? I don’t even know about lists. “

Lil Wayne Hasn’t Had Fast Food or Worked Out in 20 Years

Lil Wayne

When you’re Lil Wayne, living average is simply not an option. In fact, the Young Money CEO recently went on record stating he hasn’t had fast food for the past two decades. A baffling fact, given the amount the superstar tours and performs across the country!

Recently, the 40-year-old did an interview with Zane Lowe on Apple 1, stating that he has avoided fast food for the past 20 years. If that’s not enough, he also hasn’t worked out in that time period either!

The convo sparked with Wayne reminiscing on moving to Miami at 19 years old. With his mom being a chef, she nudged him to hire one for himself. In fact, he tells Zane Low that he couldn’t even identify the smell of McDonald’s food if it was right in front of him. Fast food is simply not in his lifestyle; of course, mama knows best!

Good genes are also a factor here, with Wayne admitting he doesn’t ever hit the gym or workout. He even comments how Jim Jones is one of the only “gyms” he’s aware of.

On the music tip, Wayne is excited as ever to unveil his newest record titled “Kant Stop,” featuring Swizz Beatz and the late, great DMX. This serves as the first single off his highly-anticipated, forthcoming album Carter VI. Wayne also plans to give his fans a nationwide tour to promote the music.

Lil Wayne Announces Swizz Beatz Produced ‘Tha Carter VI’ Track Featuring DMX

Lil Wayne Says Today's Music 'Lacks Some Creativity'

Tha Carter VI might be coming sooner than we think. Lil Wayne took to IG to announce a new single he’s dropping from the upcoming album. The track is produced by “Uproar” collaborator Swizz Beatz and features a verse from the late DMX.

Both Wayne and Swizz posted a promo video for the upcoming track entitled “Kant Nobody.” The video features the intro of the song with various pictures of Wayne and Swizz before cutting off after DMX’s legendary “Aye yo!” ad-lib. While the video did not say when the song would be dropping, we can only imagine that it will be soon.

Wayne first announced Tha Carter VI during OVO fest last year and even added a pre-save link to the album on his website. However, there haven’t been any updates on the album until now.

This song marks the first feature verse from DMX to be released after his death in 2021. Following his untimely passing, Swizz released DMX’s last album Exodus which X had been working on prior to his passing.
