LeBron James Set To Produce ‘Friday The 13th’ Reboot

It might be a horror show going on in the Staples Center right because the LeBron led Lakers are off to a horrible start. But Hollywood Bron is still working and looking to help resurrect the iconic horror film franchise Friday The 13th.
The hockey mask wearing homicidal maniac Jason hasn’t been able to deliver vicious fades since the underrated 2009 Friday The 13th reboot. There have been talks of various sequels and reboots, but all have been hampered thanks to delays, creative conflicts and a lawsuit from the franchise’s creator Victor Miller. But thanks to the success of the Jamie Lee Curtis led Halloween revival and Michael Myers slashing his way to $77.8 million domestic opening new life has been given to Jason Voorhees.
According to Page Six, insiders hint that LeBron James’ SpringHill Entertainment alongside Roy Lee’s Vertigo Entertainment is currently in talks to acquire the rights to make a new movie happen and all signs are pointing to it coming to fruition. Miller has since won back the rights to the franchise, and with the two production companies and their first look deals with Warner Bros., they are expected to land the movie.
The movie is still in early development, and no writers or a director has been attached to the project yet. One thing is for sure Jason will be taking out camp counselors at Camp Crystal Lake just like old times. LABron’s move to the west coast was supposedly for basketball reasons, but its quite clear LBJ has been bitten by the Hollywood bug. If and when it’s confirmed Friday The 13th will join the growing list of big and small screen projects Bron is attached to which also includes Space Jam 2.

Kobe Bryant Fans Flame LeBron James, Kanye West Comes To His Senses For Chicago, Lil Yachty Claps Back?
Turnt Tuesday. It’s a day to turn up SOHH why not get things going with Kobe Bryant fans flaming LeBron James following a last-minute loss to the San Antonio Spurs? 1. Showtime
It’s hard to be the king. LeBron James went from getting everyone’s applause with a game-tying three point shot during last night’s regulation and then crushed hearts after missing two key free throws in overtime. With all of the support for the other guy, it looks like Kanye West is showing some serious love for his Chicago roots and notably 35-year-old politician Amara Enyia who has received support from the Chi’s Chance The Rapper. More than a shout-out, Kanye has donated to her campaign to become mayor. Talib Kweli has weighed-in:

Enter Travis Blackley, a professional baseball player most recently signed to the Texas Rangers in 2013 and has remained unsigned by an MLB team since. LeBron James Fills The Stat Sheet In Laker Debut
No Love For LeBron James: Jimmy Butler and Kawhi Leonard Have No Interest in Joining The Lakers Next Summer
With the NBA season finally here, you would think that the summer of 2019 free agency rumors would slow down. That’s not going to happen anytime soon. According to Kevin O’Connor of The Ringer, there are “whispers” around the NBA that Jimmy Butler and Kawhi Leonard don’t want to team with LeBron James.
Both Butler and Leonard can become free agents during the offseason.
Butler is still a member of the Minnesota Timberwolves. He requested a trade three weeks ago, however, and his relationship with the organization appears to be crumbling.
The Lakers likely have enough to be a playoff team in 2018-19, but they need another All-Star to elevate themselves to championship contention in a Western Conference that includes the Golden State Warriors and Houston Rockets.
Butler and Leonard are two of the NBA’s best two-way players, and either of them would make the Lakers a true championship threat.
The 29-year-old Butler is a four-time All-Star and four-time All-Defensive Team selection who has averaged 20 or more points per game in each of the past four campaigns. When healthy, Leonard is a top 5 NBA talent. Leonard, an NBA Finals MVP, can spread the floor as well as defend at every position.
There’s also this: when you win on LeBron’s team, LeBron gets all the credit. Another star might think it’s impossible to be viewed as anything more than a supporting actor while playing in James’ shadow.
