DaBaby looks to follow up a strong 2022 campaign with a more remarkable year in 2023. After slinging out a slew of blistering freestyles over tracks including Latto’s “Big Energy” and Burna Boy’s “Last Last,” DaBaby returns with new visuals for his standout track “BLANK’ featuring Anthony Hamilton. Directed by The Reel Goats, “BLANK” finds the superstar rapper in a precarious situation after sleeping with Anthony Hamilton’s love interest. Hamilton stumbles on the two, making love before attempting to take Baby down. When he finally gets a hold of Baby, he ties him up and looks to pull the trigger. Unfortunately, those plans go awry creating a jaw-dropping plot twist. “BLANK” resides on Baby’s 2022 project, Baby on Baby 2.
Earlier this month, Baby set foot at Rolling Loud California, and brought his performance prowess to the West Coast. In 2021, Baby maintained his dominance releasing his touted anthems “Red Light Green Light” and “Ball If I Want To,” which saw blistering results, earning over 324 million Global Spotify Streams.DaBaby most recently earned a BET Hip-Hop nomination for Best Group or Duo with Youngboy Never Broke Again.

Lovers and R&B aficionados will no longer have to hold their breath as it has been confirmed that veteran singers Musiq Soulchild and Anthony Hamilton will face off in a Valentine’s Day VERZUZ battle.
Slated to take place in Hollywood, California, VERZUZ confirmed the face-off yesterday(January 31) in a press release, saying, “Gearing up for love day, VERZUZ—the streaming series launched by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland—reveals the details for its first-ever Valentine’s Day Special,” the press release reads. “Two of R&B’s most notorious crooners GRAMMY® Award winner Anthony Hamilton and GRAMMY® Award nominee Musiq Soulchild square off live from Avalon Hollywood in Los Angeles, CA on Tuesday, February 15, 2022.”
The cast and crew of BMF walked the red carpet for the series that premieres Sunday, September 26, 2021 at 9 PM.
BMF Executive Producer and Writer, Randy Huggins was all smiles. While cast members Demetrius “Lil Meech” Flenory Jr., Da’Vinchi, Russell Hornsby, Michole Briana White, Ajiona Alexus, Eric Kofi-Abrefa, Myles Truitt shared group photos. Steve Harris, La La Anthony and Arkeisha “Kash Doll” Knight also walked the red carpet and celebrated the night.
More celebs that were spotted out include Monica, Kandi Burress, Jacob Latimore, Michael Epps, Jamira “Cuban Link” Haines, Ari Fletcher, Anthony Hamilton, Angie Stone, and Clifton Powell.
David Banner, Jacquees, Young Thug, Gunna and STARZ, President and CEO Jeffrey Hirsch was also in the mix for the star studded evening.
BMF follows the story of two brothers who created the Black Mafia Family, the most prominent drug distribution network in American history, and is set to premiere on Sunday, September 26 on Starz.

The Super Bowl performers are not looking as strong as the NBA All-Star contributors. After announcing J. Cole as the entertainment for the half-time, one of the biggest sports stages of the year has added Meek Mill and Anthony Hamilton. Mill will do the player intros, while Hamilton will do the National Anthem. Carly Rae Jepsen will also appear for the National Anthem of Canada.
The NBA has also revealed the stars who will participate in the Rising Stars game to open the weekend. Lonzo Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Jayson Tatum, and Donovan Mitchell will lead the USA team, while Luka Doncic, Lauri Markkanen, Ben Simmons, and Deandre Ayton will represent NBA Stars from across the world.
This Thursday, the Inside the NBA crew from NBA on TNT will reveal who the coaches have selected to be reserves players on the All-Star team. Many expect for the teams to be filled out with players such as Anthony Davis, Russell Westbrook, Victor Oladipo, Damian Lillard and more.
From there, the Inside crew will come back again on February 7 as LeBron James and Giannis Antentokuompo will serve as captains and pick their teammates, playground style, on live television. Last year, fans, media, and players all wished to see the order in which players were drafted by James and then Captain Stephen Curry to add another fun element to what is already a fun-filled weekend.
Full participants for the dunk contest and the three-point contest have not been revealed yet, however, Curry and his younger brother Seth Curry have already stated they will join the three-point contest in a family duel since it is in their hometown.
The 2019 NBA All-Star Weekend will be from February 15-17, 2019 in Charlotte.
