Letoya Luckett and Her Husband Expecting Baby Number 2

T.I. and Tiny’s Friends and Family Hustle stars, Letoya Luckett and Tommicus Walker, are expecting baby number two! The couple tied the knot back in December of 2017 and already share a beautiful baby girl together named Gianna Walker. This will bring the family to a total number of five, including Walker’s daughter from his previous eight-year relationship, Madison Walker.

In previous episodes of Friends and Family Hustle, Letoya shared her thoughts on looking for a surrogate after deciding she wanted to dive back into her singing career and being worried after experiencing a ‘complicated delivery’ with her daughter Gigi. Plans seemed to have changed as the former Destiny Child singer posed her new baby bump for the gram on Thursday, March 19th. The photo depicts the “Torn” singer in a white dress, holding her belly on a beautiful sandy beach. “Dear God, thank you. Growing & glowing in your light & love! Overjoyed & grateful for our little bundle,” the singer captioned the photo.

Her husband posted the same breathtaking photo with the caption, “1 Samuel 1:27: ‘I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of him.’ Thank you, God, for blessing my Wife to carry our healthy child in Jesus’ name. P.S. I told ya’ll I was going back/back like a sprinter.”

Congratulations to the Walkers!

Legendary Hip-Hop Trio Whodini Honored with ‘Hip Hop Icon Award’ at Black Music Honors

Whodini has finally gotten the chance to smell their flowers. The legendary Hip-Hop trio was honored with the Hip Hop Icon Award at the 3rd Annual Black Music Honors which aired this past weekend on national broadcast syndication.

The tribute was sanctioned in pure nostalgia as fellow icons in rhyme Doug E. Fresh, Yo-Yo, and Monie Love joined to perform Whodini’s classic hits. While the “Friends” collective is known to be a trio, only two members were present Jalil Hutchins and John Fletcher best known as Ecstasy.

Hosted by Rickey Smiley and a very bumpy Letoya Luckett, the 3rd Annual Black Music Honors commemorates the unrivaled careers of esteemed music professionals who own a marked impact on Black Music Culture.
“The Black Music Honors gives us an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of the trailblazers of African-American music,” said Don Jackson, the profound show’s executive producer in a statement.
Additionally honorees include R&B icon Stephanie Mills (Legends Award), famed gospel artists BeBe and CeCe Winans (Gospel Music Icon Award), the esteemed songstress Faith Evans (Urban Music Icon Award) and celebrated singer/actor Bobby Brown (R&B Soul Music Icon Award).
Bell Biv DeVoe paid homage to their New Edition brother with a “showstopping” medley of all of his celebrated hits which lead Brown into respectfully happy tears.
The award show was originally taped on the night of August 16, just hours after the passing of the Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin, to whom they paid respects to in a heartfelt memorial performance.
