Terence Crawford Compliments Jake and Logan Paul to Lil Wayne: ‘I Look at Jake and Logan as Real Boxers’

Terence Crawford Compliments Jake and Logan Paul to Lil Wayne

Young Money Radio returns with an exclusive interview featuring Lil Wayne and Lineal Lightweight Champion, Terence Crawford. Known as the 2014 Fighter of the Year, Crawford delves into his illustrious boxing career and shares insights into his pre-fight mindset.

The conversation between Lil Wayne and Crawford extends beyond the boxing ring, touching on strategies to attract more attention to the sport. They explore the intersection of music and boxing, with Crawford revealing the musical influences that help him focus and prepare for his matches.

Among topics were the Paul brothers who have taken on combat sports in boxing and WWE. Crawford says he views the two as boxers.

“I look at Jake Paul and Logan Paul as real fighters,” Crawford said. Real boxers. For the purpose being how long they’ve been doing. They started doing the backyard brawls with the gloves on years ago. A lot of people probably don’t even know that. That was when they was doing the little YouTube stuff. Then they start training. Getting serious, training with serious boxers. So I look at them as real fighters. But the sport of boxing, it just needs more eyes on it.”

As far as his music choices, Crawford says: “I have some Lil Wayne, I have some Anita Baker, I have some Kirk Franklin, I have some jazz, I have a little country. It just variety. I just put everything in one, and it just-Because I might get up and I might be hyped on a song, but I like to be mellow. Save all the energy for the fight. Then Anita Baker come on, and then I’m just sitting there, I’m just in the zone.”

J. Cole Expected to be Next Guest on Lil Wayne’s Young Money Radio

J Cole

Lil Wayne and J. Cole might be linking up on Friday for an interview on Wayne’s Young Money Radio. According to a source on Twitter, Lil Wayne’s DJ confirmed that the “Power Trip” rapper will be the next guest on YMR.

J. Cole has been choosey about who he sits down with for interviews opting against normal press runs when he drops a new project but the fandom Cole has for Wayne likely pushed the Fayetteville rapper to chat with the legend on his platform.

Wayne has hosted some of the biggest contributors to the culture on his Apple Music show including Nicki Minaj, 50 Cent, Gucci Mane and Kid Cudi.

The two artists have collaborated in the past on the record “Green Ranger” from Lil Wayne’s Dedication 4 mixtape.

There have been reports that the next Cole album is on the way. Hopefully Wayne and Cole will talk about that on Friday.

Lil Wayne Mistakes Producer Tag As Shoutout

Dwayne Carter, better known as Lil Wayne, has been often referred to as one of the greatest rappers of all time. Whether you agree or not, most rappers in the hip-hop game pay homage to the grammy-winning artist. In this case, Lil Wayne believed Future paid a little too much homage after believing that “Wheezy Outta Here” tag was Future shouting him out.

The New Orleans rapper talks about his discovery on his Young Money Radio podcast which he uses to interview other hip hop heavy hitters and share stories with fans. The rapper shares the hilarious experience after acknowledging Wheezy the producer and sharing that “Wheezy Outta Here” is now his favorite tag. “That’s my favorite tag. I don’t know why that’s my favorite tag, but that’s my favorite tag. Probably my favorite new producer, too, so send me some beats, Wheezy Outta Here,” he stated.

The rapper then briefly pauses before sharing this hilarious confession. “First of all I thought when I first heard- I told yall I don’t know nothing about nothing. So when I first heard those beats, whatever song with ‘Wheezy Outta Here,’ I just thought that was Future shouting me out,” the rapper said before bursting out in laughter. “Why Future keep shouting me out on a song and they ain’t even talking about me on the song?” Wayne says he asks Mack Maine.

Lil Wayne wasn’t lying when he told us he’s really always in his own world.
