Instead, Future will come with a solo effort titled SAVE ME.

There is not much knowledge about the release beyond the date, but that is enough for fans to be eager for the release.

As for WATTBA 2, that remains to be seen but if normally where there is smoke, there is fire.

Drake & Future’s Collab Album ‘What A Time To Be Alive 2’ Might Be Closer Than We Think

Drake & Future's Collab Album 'What A Time To Be Alive 2' Very Close?

The sequel to Drake and Future’s collaborative effort What A Time To Be Alive might be closer than we think according to recent social media posts. Freebandz producer ATL Jacob shared a photo in his Instagram stories that have many believing the project will be releasing very soon.

Rumblings about What A Time To Be Alive 2 began earlier this year when both Drake and Future got their fans buzzing by hinting at the album in a video with Drake saying “What’s that? We gotta cook that up. That two,” said while holding up two fingers. Future then follows the OVO general saying, “It’s already cooked. Top secret.”

ATL Jacob’s photo he shared on Wednesday at 4:20 a.m added even more fuel to fire showing off Jacob’s hard drive with 20 freshly down audio tracks from May 23 allegedly and are labeled “FUT X DRA,” alongside files labeled “FBG” aka “FreeBand Gang.”

Future’s Instagram page is also strongly hinting that some new music is on the way as well. The “March Madness” rapper has wiped his page clean, leaving up just one post that features some new music playing in the background.

Whatever the case might be, whether there is definitely some new heat on the way. Future first teased at a WATTBA sequel when he shared an unreleased track featuring the Raptors’ biggest cheerleader. On the two are going back and forth with Future kicking things off with “I got 20 damn Kylies,” and Drake following up with “I got 20 damn Kendalls / Young slim baddies, and they’re in Vogue / I got 20 fuckin’ Gigis.”

What A Time To Be Alive was released in September 2015 and featured production from Metro Boomin and Southside. The album reached no.1 on the Billboard 200 charts and featured standout tracks  such as “Big Rings” and “Jumpman.”

The Audacity: Future Blasts People Who Share Their Business Online, Seemingly Responds To Rolex Backlash

Celebrities at the Jimmy Kimmel Live! studios

Future — the same guy who comes for his ex, Ciara, and her husband, Russell Wilson every chance he gets — had the nerve to shade people who tell their business on social media. Now, Nayvadius

“How much u get paid a week for telling your business to social media??” he asked via Twitter. Just back in January, he had every opportunity to keep it cute when asked about his son’s stepdad Russell. Instead he shaded Russell and his relationship with Ciara, saying “He do exactly what she tell him to do.” That was far from the first time he came for the happy couple… remember when he tweeted about Ciara’s “control problems?”

After that highly hypocritical tweet, Future seemed to address the backlash he faced for gifting his son a Rolex on his 5th birthday. If you missed the hilariousness that ensued when Baby Future didn’t seem to care for the new timepiece much, tune in here.

Future tweeted..

Maybe Future is a changed man. We’ll believe it when we see it. For now, we’ll get advice on how we should live life elsewhere.

Thanks Dad ?: Future Buys Baby Future A Rolex For His 5th Birthday, Twitter Had Time

Twitter Drags Future For Buying Baby Future A Rolex On His 5th BDay

Source: Prince Williams / Getty

Most boys, when they turn five-years-old, want things like toys, a bike or a new video game console as a gift. If you’re Future, those kinds of gifts for your son are beneath you and instead, you go for something extravagant. The “March Madness” rapper is getting dragged by his blonde dreads on Twitter for buying his now five-year-old son a Rolex watch.

It’s an evil world we live in.

Umm gee dad, “thanks.” That was precisely the response his young son he shares with Ciara said when he received the Rolex from his dad while at his huge superhero themed birthday party. Twitter immediately caught on and called out Future fro opting to go with jewelry instead of you know things a five-year-old child would want like toys.

When it comes to his parenting skills, Future always seems to be the butt of the jokes on the social media platform, but it’s still his own doing. Now he is not the first dad to gift their kid’s jewelry, DJ Khaled also bought his son Asahd who was only one-year-old at the time a 100k diamond-studded watch.

Meanwhile, super stepdad, Russell Wilson’s Instagram post to his stepson was a heartfelt message and basically displays the stark contrast in parenting.

Well anyway, Twitter was over it and let Future have it, now it’s good to see he is a part of his son’s life and lacing him with the finer things in life, but according to the internet, this wasn’t it chief at all.

WATCH: Future Dodges Five-seveN Bullets For “F&N” Music Video

As we patiently wait for official word on Future & Drake’s “top secret” project — more than likely a sequel to 2015’s What a Time to Be Alive — the homie Hndrxx is letting off a new music video for “F&N” as the latest single from his 2019 album The WIZRD.

F&N VIDEO OUT NOW

A post shared by Future Hendrix (@future) on

Directed by Colin Tilley, the new visuals for “F&N” puts the Freebandz MC in a pretty tight predicament as he smoothly dodges shots from a FN Five-seven semi-automatic pistol. Named for its 5.7-mm bullet diameter, you can assume that these would do some serious damage to Future if he didn’t have the Matrix-style moves required to not end up like Swiss cheese. The setting puts us inside a bullet-ridden trap house, filled with things you’d expect to find in a trap house and a few bootyful bisexual video vixens dressed as surgeons. Such is the art of the rap video in 2019!

Watch the music video for “F&N” by Future above, and listen to the full The WIZRD album right now on all streaming platforms.

Future and Elton John Are BFF’s Now

Future and Elton John clearly on the same wave. The two music stars, who both happened to be rocking track suits, snapped a pic with each other and share it on Instagram.

“Me and my brother @eltonjohn leaving the studio. Love is Love,” read the caption of Hendrixx’s post.

While Future was dutifully rocking a Reebok tracksuit since he reps the brand, Elton John was in a shiny number from Gucci.

What’s that collaborative music sound like, though?

Recently, Elton John was kicking it with Q-Tip.

Drake and Future Tease ‘What a Time to Be Alive’ Sequel

Looks like Drake and Future have something up their sleeves.

The Toronto rapper is currently on his Assassination Vacation tour with Tory Lanez and brought Hendrix out for two of the London shows. Following his guest performance, the Atlanta rapper hopped on Instagram with Drizzy to tease their fans.

“What’s that?” Drake says as he holds up two fingers. “We gotta cook that up. That 2.” Future responds, “It’s already cooked up, top secret.”

Many fans are speculating that the duo is teasing the follow-up to their 2015 joint mixtape What A Time To Be Alive. Rumors of a follow-up have been circulating for years, but fans went into a frenzy when OnSmash reported that Drake and Future have completed WATTBA2. That might explain the Atlanta rapper’s “It’s already cooked up” comment.

OnSmash reports that the project has newly recorded material and no leftovers from the original tape.
