Will Smith and Jason Derulo Gift 14 Year Old Cancer Patient With a Playstation 5

The second season of Will Smith’s Snapchat series, Will From Home, is here and he’s kicking it off with a bang.

The 52-year-old tapped Jason Derulo for the premiere episode where they virtually traveled to Fort Worth, Texas to surprise 14-year-old Aiden, who was diagnosed with cancer in April.

Aiden’s father, Chuck, reached out to Will when he was researching different ways to comfort his son since he can’t physically be with him as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Derulo taught the father-son duo some new dance moves before surprising Aiden with a Playstation 5. In addition, the Fresh Prince and Derulo made a $10,000 donation to the Cook Children’s Medical Center, where Aiden gets his treatments.

The whole concept of Will From Home is to celebrate real-life heroes for their bravery and selflessness.

Alicia Keys, DJ Khaled, Lil Nas X, and Ludacris will also appear during this season of Will From Home.

HHW Gaming: We Get A Hulk-Sized Look Into Marvel’s Avengers’ War Zone Missions

MODOK Revealed In New Marvel's Avengers' Story Trailer

Source: Square Enix / Crystal Dynamics

Yes, we just got Hulk-sized amount of more details on Square Enix/Crystal Dynamic’s Marvel’s Avengers game.

Today (Jun.24), during the first Marvel’s Avengers War Table stream, we learned a great deal about the highly-anticipated game the revolves around earth’s mightiest heroes. Let’s jump into the latest deets, shall we?

Immediately, we learned about “War Zones,” which players can access through “War Tables” that are located in either the Quinjets, outposts, and the bridge of the Chimera Helicarrier. The War Table helps the team keeps tabs on A.I.M., an organization intent on ridding the world of the “Inhuman infection” and convincing the world heroes are trash.

The Helicarrier, which serves as the home base for the reassembled Avengers, can be repaired and upgraded over time. Each Avenger has their own personal quarters on the ship, a fabrication machine where players can design new suits from blueprints and storage for the extra gear you acquire while on a War Zone mission and more.

Unlike the Hero Missions, which are more story-driven and feature more cinematic sequences, War Zone missions turn the game into a more loot-driven expansive, explorable experience for players.

Marvel’s Avengers War Zone Director, Philippe Therien, states each mission will be “loaded with side content including concealed caches to uncover, powerful bounty enemies to defeat, A.I.M. depots to take over, faction allies to rescue, and hidden loot to claim.”

Warzone missions will also be broken up into a variety of different types that players can team up with friends or other players and tackle. They include:

  • Iconic Missions: While Hero Missions are the campaign crafted, hero focused missions, we also have War Zone missions crafted as unique Hero stories which evolve the story of a specific Avenger and provide context to how they dealt with the fallout from A-Day. How does Tony feel about A.I.M. repurposing his tech for their own ends? What are the ramifications of Hulk’s extended stay as the Big Green? Iconic outfits and powerful gear await at the end of a chain of Iconic Missions.
  • Faction Missions: In addition to reassembling the Avengers, players will help rebuild outposts for their allies. SHIELD suffered greatly after the disbanding of the Avengers, and the Resistance formed as a direct result of A.I.M.s increasingly authoritarian activity worldwide. Players can take part in missions to provide these factions intel, supplies, and defend them from A.I.M. attacks. Even cooler, the Helicarrier becomes populated by members of these factions who want to help in the fight against A.I.M. Faction leaders will also give out missions as part of the ongoing conflict in the post-campaign world and provide faction-specific rewards.
  • Drop Zones: Drop Zones are short missions with a single objective, such as defending allies or sabotaging an A.I.M. structure.
  • Vaults: Vaults are large explorable spaces that take some leg-work to uncover. To access a vault you first have to locate the coordinates from hidden SHIELD caches around the world. Once you’ve found the entrance, you must fight your way inside and breach the vault before you reap the rewards.
  • Hives: Hives are A.I.M. strongholds located throughout the world, the Avengers must uncover their location and fight their way through and a gauntlet of increasingly challenging A.I.M. defenses in order to disable them.
  • Villain Sector: Villain Sector missions culminate with a boss fight, such as notable Marvel villains working in tandem with A.I.M., or one of the organization’s extra-deadly constructs.

We also got to see some War Zone gameplay as well featuring the God of Thunder, Thor, destroying a bunch of A.I.M. robots while still rocking his mortal disguise.

That’s not all that was revealed, players can look forward to earning perks, rewards, and tons of cosmetic upgrades like the Hulk Buster armor to make your characters stand out during missions. A new story trailer was revealed, giving us even more insight into the game’s plot and revealing that MODOK will be the main thorn in the Avengers’ sides. We also get to see the Hulk battle Abomination as well.

Marvel’s Avengers launches on September 4, 2020, on PS4, Xbox One, Stadia, and P.C. The team will later assemble on PS5 and Xbox Series X holiday 2020. As previously reported, if you own a physical or digital copy of the game on PS4 or Xbox One, you will be able to upgrade the game for free on PS5 and Xbox Series X.

As an added bonus, PS4 owners will get early access to the upcoming beta when they pre-order the game. You can watch the new story trailer below.

Today (Jun.22) Square Enix announced that the highly-anticipated Marvel’s Avengers game will be available on both the PS5 and Xbox Series X as free upgrades when both consoles launch holiday 2020. In a post on Playstation’s official blog,  Chief Technology Officer at Crystal Dynamics, Gary Snethen, spoke on the excitement of working on the PS5 version of the game and shared some screenshots.

“I have had the tremendous pleasure and privilege of having a PS5 development kit on my desk for some time. When we received our first few kits, I rushed to put an engineering team on the task of creating a PS5 version of Marvel’s Avengers as quickly as possible. I wanted to push Foundation, our proprietary game engine, to its limits on PS5 and see what it could do.”

Snethen, while marveling about what the PS5 can do, revealed what gamers can look forward to when they play Marvel’s Avengers on the console.

“The new GPU allows us to increase our texture resolution, push a higher level of detail farther from the player, enhance our ambient occlusion, improve our anisotropic filtering and add a variety of new graphics features such as stochastic screen-space reflections with contact-aware sharpening.”

“As gamers, we sometimes want every ounce of power put into extra graphics features to achieve the highest image quality possible. For this, Marvel’s Avengers will offer an enhanced graphics mode on PS5. At other times, we want the most fluid gameplay experience possible. For that, Marvel’s Avengers will offer a high framerate mode on PS5, which targets 60 FPS with dynamic 4K resolution.”

Snethen also boasts that Marvel’s Avengers loading and streaming times improved “by an order of magnitude on PS5.” He claims when the game is finished optimizing loading time will nearly be instant and that gamers will be able to seamlessly jump into missions anywhere in the game world.

The PS5 DualSense controller will also give gamers a unique experience when they play the game thanks to advanced haptics and resistance triggers combined with the PS5’s 3D audio.

In addition to being able to upgrade for free, both PS5 and Xbox Series X owners of the game will be able to play with friends on either the PS4 and Xbox One X.

HHW Gaming: Insomniac Games Drops Even More Details On ‘Marvel’s Spider-Man: Mile Morales’

'Spider-Man: Miles Morales' Will Be As Big As 'Uncharted: Lost Legacy'

Source: Insomniac Games / PlayStation

There were many games shown during Sony’s big PS5 reveal event, but Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales stole the show. Now we are getting even more details about the highly anticipated game.

We already know that when Miles Morales finally dons the infamous black and red Spider-Man costume and swings into action the PS5, it won’t be an add-on but his own stand-alone adventure. Today (Jun.18) on PlayStation’s blog, Brian Horton, Creative Director at Insomniac Games, dropped even more juicy tidbits about the studio’s upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive.

In the post, Horton revealed the studio loved the character, Miles Morales, for a “very long time” and that Marvel’s Spider-Man creative director Bryan Intihar suggested years ago that Miles should be in the same universe as Peter Parker.

“As we continued with the Marvel’s Spider-Man universe, we knew that Miles’s origin story as a Spider-Man was something that needed its own game. Miles’s multicultural background reflects a more modern, diverse world, and we wanted to give players a new story, with new set-pieces, fresh villains, and unique quests across Marvel’s New York City. This had to be a can’t-miss next adventure in the Marvel’s Spider-Man universe.”

The game’s timeline and some of the plot was also revealed, placing it a year after the events of Marvel’s Spider-Man.

“Let’s set the scene for the game a little more. It’s now wintertime, about a year after the events of the first game. Marvel’s New York is covered in snow, and just before Christmas break, a war between an energy corporation and a high-tech criminal army has broken out. Miles’s new home in Harlem is at the heart of the battle.”

Horton even touched on the size of the game, comparing it to Naughty Dog’s fantastic women-led Uncharted: The Lost Legacy “in terms of scope.” The team has been working hard on Miles Morale’s story since wrapping up the development of Marvel’s Spider-Man. Horton promises that fans can expect a full story arc when they press start and begin Mile’s journey.

The game will also show off the full power of the PS5. Players can look forward to instant loading, ray-tracing, 3D audio, and the DualSense controller. The character models in the PS4’s Marvel’s Spider-Man were already stunning, Horton details the characters will look even better thanks to “4D scans and improved skin shading for more realistic looking characters and spline-based hair that moves far more naturally.”

Last but certainly not least, Horton also revealed to fans worried about Peter Parker that he is okay and that his adventure will continue “still have much of Peter’s story left to tell.” Horton made sure to point out that this game is “all about Miles” and that his story is “a critical part of our Spider-Man universe, and you won’t want to miss what happens.”

HEARD YOU!

We can’t wait to play when the game drop along with the PS5 holiday 2020 or according to the Amazon leak in November.

HHW Gaming: Amazon Leaks PS5 Price, No You Won’t Have To Pimp Yourself For A Console

PS5 Price & Release Date Leaked On French Amazon Site

Source: Sony/ PlayStation

If this leak is accurate, you won’t have to do anything crazy to secure a PS5 console.

Tech enthusiast Ben Geskin made an eyebrow-raising discovery. While perusing Amazon’s French website, he discovered the price listing for the PlayStation 5. According to Amazon, the standard model will cost €499, while the digital-only console will cost €399. Converted to American currency, that means that both PS5 console will cost about $560 and $450.

The listing also revealed that the console will have a November 20 release date for customers in France. As to be expected, the listing was quickly updated, and the pricing and release information was removed. There are always screenshots, of course.

If this price is indeed correct, it will be in the ballpark of the $400-$500 price-range that most analysts predicted Sony would set for the “future of gaming.” For some strange reason, folks on social media have been tweeting that it will cost even more and joking they would have to literally sell their bodies or suck up to their girlfriends in order to get a console. It’s also being reported that the PS5’s competition, the Xbox Series X will only cost $399 at launch. Video game insiders are predicting that Sony will be keeping the price of its console close to Microsofts.

The PS5 console is set for a holiday release, and the rumored November 20 date sounds about right. The PS4 was released on November 15, 2013, in the US and November 29, 2013, in Europe. As expected, Sony has not confirmed both the price or release date.

We will keep you updated when that information does officially drops. Until then, you can peep the reactions to the PS5 after last week’s huge reveal.

HHW Gaming: ‘Spider-Man: Miles Morales’ IS NOT An Expansion, Will Be A Standalone Game

'Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales' Will Be An Expansion On PS5

Source: Insomniac Games / PlayStation

Sony’s PS5 console might have been the crown jewel of last night’s reveal event, but our favorite Spider-Man, Miles Morales, stole the show.

Sony came out guns blazing or, in this case, web-shooters shooting opening up with the gameplay trailer for Insomniac’s Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Fans were excited to see that hero from the film Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse is going to be a playable character in his own adventure and that the game will be available when PS5 launches Holiday 2020.

'Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales' Will Be An Expansion On PS5

Source: Insomniac Games / PlayStation

In the exceptional Marvel’s Spider-Man game, which swung on PS4 exclusively back in 2018, gamers got the chance to control Miles in a small part of the game. Unfortunately, he hasn’t become the hero we love yet, but he is currently under the tutelage of OG Spider-Man, Peter Parker.

We are already getting more information on the game. The news hit the web today (Jun.12) that it won’t be a standalone title but another expansion to the previously released Spider-Man game that will also be on PS5 but enhanced. Sony’s EVP head of European business stated in an interview with The Telegraph that Spider-Man: Miles Morales is indeed not a sequel but an add-on while revealing the original game has gotten some “major enhancements.”

“I guess you could call it an expansion and an enhancement to the previous game, “but also within the game as well, there have been major enhancements to the game and the game engine, obviously deploying some of the major PlayStation 5 technology and features.”

Bloomberg News video game reporter, Jason Schreier shut that down revealing that Spider-Man: Miles Morales is NOT an expansion but indeed a standalone game similar to Naughty Dog’s Uncharted Lost Legacy spinoff.

Schreier went onto add that Mile’s story “was always a smaller-scale standalone game,” and that Sony’s EVP’s comments were erroneous. There is no word if the PS4 version of the game will get the Mile Morales game, but we wouldn’t bet against that. Marvel’s Spider-Man sold exceptionally well on the PS4 and loved by gamers and critics. We expect it to do well again when the game drops on PS5 as well.

HHW Gaming: PS5 Confirmed Copped, Here Are The Games Coming To Sony’s New Console

PS5

Source: Sony / PlayStation

Sony took its sweet time, but our patience was definitely rewarded following today’s PS5 reveal event.

Now that was a presentation, and a much needed pick me up. Before showing off its crown jewel, the PS5, Sony said we got GAMES to show you, and they didn’t disappoint. The company showed off 26 games that we could all look forward to when PS5 finally arrives Holiday 2020.

Right out the gate, PlayStation wasn’t playing revealing that Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be swinging onto the PS5 when it launches, but instead of playing as Peter Parker, the story will continue with you taking control of young Miles Morales. We also got a glimpse at Resident Evil VIII: Village, Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, Horizon: Forbidden West, NBA 2K21, and more.

Once the games were out of the way, it was time to show everyone what they were waiting for. As expected, the sleek console definitely stays true to the white and blue hue the already revealed DualSense controller sported. The PS5 is, without a doubt, unlike anything we have seen before when it comes to a console. The PS5 is curved, features a white shell with a black inside segment to complement the look.

Unlike previous PlayStation releases, the PS5 will be released in two versions, a “regular” PS5 and a PS5 Digital Edition, which will not have a disc drive opting to forgo Blu-Ray discs for digital downloads only.

Sadly, we still don’t know how much it will cost, with many analysts predicting in the $499 price range. Twitter, for some reason, believes it will cost a hell of a lot more with some gamers jokingly saying they will either sell themselves for one or take part in other unspeakable actions to secure a PS5.

Sony has already announced that the PS5’s price will come at a later date. We will definitely keep you guys updated when that day comes until then, feast your eyes on all of the game trailers that were revealed during the live stream event below.

HHW Gaming: Sony’s PS5 Reveal Event Is Upon Us, Gamers Ready To Risk It All For The Console

The PS5 Reveal Event Is Upon, Gamers Are Ready To Risk It All

Source: Sony / PlayStation 5

Sony announced on Monday (Jun.8) that its PS5 reveal event is back on. Now that we’re just under 35 hours away from the epic moment, gamers are freaking out.

We get it, we are hyped as well. We have no idea what Sony is going to show during this PS5 games reveal event, but if the rumors pan out, it’s going to be amazing. Dead Space creator threw more fuel on the fire by announcing the big game he has been working on for 2 years will be shown during the event. We just hope it’s finally a new game in the ridiculously scary but oh so good franchise.

There is also a chance that we will FINALLY get to see what the PS5 console looks like…WE HOPE

Sony has already broken down the impressive specs the PS5 will have. Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney has been raving about the possibilities calling it a “remarkably balanced device.” He also added:

“It has an immense amount of GPU power, but also multi-order bandwidth increase in storage management. That’s going to be absolutely critical. It’s one thing to render everything that can fit in memory.”

Sony has also introduced us to the new DualSense controller, which makes the DualShock 4 looks like child’s play.

Gamers, most importantly, have been salivating to see the “future of gaming” after being let down a couple of times by Sony.  On Twitter, they are once again hilariously tweeting the ridiculous lengths they are willing to go to for the console in anticipation of the PS5’s high price. Even ready to “sell themselves” as one user put it on Twitter.

We totally understand. Until tomorrow’s event, which goes down June 11 at 1:00pm Pacific time, 4:00pm eastern time indulge yourself in the hilarious reactions and predictions below. Be sure to follow us on Twitter as we will be live-tweeting the event as well.

HHW Gaming: Bungie Outlines The Future For ‘Destiny 2’ During Livestream Event

Bungie Reveals 'Destiny 2' Will Support Cross-Gen Support & More

Source: Bungie / Destiny 2

E3 2020 is canceled, thanks in large part to COVID-19, but that didn’t stop Bungie from dropping a ton of Destiny 2 news on us.

Today (Jun.9), during Bungie’s epic Destiny 2 livestream event, the game studio highlighted the next chapter for its looter- shooter, which will begin with the arrival of fall expansion, Beyond The Light. But that’s not all, the titles for season 11’s two major story expansions arriving 2021 and 2022 were also revealed and more big surprises.

Bungie Reveals 'Destiny 2' Will Support Cross-Gen Support & More

Source: Bungie / Destiny 2

Following an 8 minute and 46 second moment of silence for George Floyd (salute to Bungie) and a small doc showcasing how the team is managing working from home due to the COVID-19 global pandemic. Once that was done, Mark Noseworthy and Luke Smith took over, and yes, they were socially distancing during the stream. They both excitedly announced the 2021 expansion for Destiny 2 is titled The Witch Queen, and coming 2022 is Lightfall. That’s all they revealed, but they did share a significant amount of information on Beyond The Light even sharing some gameplay footage.

The arrival of new expansions usually means significant changes to the game like new multiplayer maps, strikes, and story missions. Bungie is also introducing what it calls the Destiny Content Vault. Basically, it will allow Bungie to cycle out older content that players are not really interacting with and bring back older content from the original Destiny game that fans loved.

The real exciting news came in the form of how Destiny 2 will make the jump to next-generation consoles PS5, and Xbox Series X. Noseworthy and Smith detailed the ambitious plans Bungie has for Destiny 2 on the forthcoming new consoles. They revealed that gamers who own the expansions will be able to upgrade the game on Xbox Series X using Microsoft’s Smart Delivery program and on PS5 (which is breaking news in itself) for FREE when they both arrive in 2021 and 2022.

Another eyebrow-raising bit of news was the confirmation that Destiny 2 will support cross-gen gaming. That means PS5 players can play with PS4 players, and Xbox Series X gamers can play alongside those still rocking with the Xbox One X. Noseworthy and Smtih also confirmed they are working on crossplay between all of the consoles as well.

So with all of this news, Destiny 3 is more than likely nowhere near done since Destiny 2 is being given more legs with all of these expansions and updates. We’re not mad at that at all. You can watch the entire presentation below.
