Singer Joy Villa has a lot to say about the recent and unfortunate arrest of rapper 21 Savage on Super Bowl weekend by ICE agents over his immigration issues.

The 32-year old singer actress and avid Trump supporter said on her interview on The Domenick Nati Show that hte “Bank Account” rapper was “sloppy” and it was “stupid on his part” that he got arrested.

Cops Say 21 Savage Was Found With Fully Loaded Glock At Time Of Arrest

With the case surrounding 21 Savage and his recent immigration issues following an arrest on Super Bowl Sunday becoming more of a national issue rather than just another isolated arrest of a rapper.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, it has been reported that Savage, whose real name is Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, was arrested by ATF and a loaded gun was retrieved from the red Dodge Challenger that Savage was driving when he was pulled over.

A fully loaded Glock with an extended clip was found in the glove compartment of the vehicle.

According to the report, there were three cars involved in the arrest of Savage, including a car driven by Kalil Smith, who police say was also with Savage. Police say Smith was driving with an M4 rifle in the floorboard with the muzzle pointed in the direction of the officer.

According to Savage’s lawyer Alex Spiro, who was hired by Hip Hop honcho Jay-Z, “ICE has confirmed he was targeted for immigration enforcement and nothing more. He was never arrested by the police, and some other individual’s firearm and vehicle is not our concern here.”

Jay-Z Hires Lawyer, Demands Immediate Release Of 21 Savage

Hovito has decided to come to the aid of 21 Savage.

According to confirmed reports, the Hip Hop mogul has hired high-profile attorney Alex Spiro to defend the rapper, whose recent immigration issues could leave him deported to the UK indefinitely.

Savage, whose real name is Shayaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, was arrested by ICE agents on Super Bowl Sunday in Atlanta after it was reported that the “Bank Account” rapper had overstayed his Visa. 21 Savage came into the country with his mother when he was seven, but his expired Visa expired back in 2006. It was also revealed that Bin-Abraham-Joseph was born in Newham, London instead of the British island of Dominica as it was previously reported.

“We are not going to stop until he is released, bonded out or in front of a judge … What we have here is someone who overstayed their Visa with an application pending for 4 years – not a convicted criminal that needs to be detained and removed but, by all accounts a wonderful person, father, and entertainer who has a marijuana offense which was vacated and sealed,” said Savage’s attorney.

Georgia Lawmaker Urges for 21 Savage’s Release From ICE

A Georgia lawmaker is calling for federal officials to release 21 Savage on bail after he was arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

The Atlanta rapper is a UK immigrant who came to the states as a minor in 2005 with a temporary visa and the visa expired the following year.

21, born She’yaa Bin Abraham-Joseph, is being held without bail based on “incorrect information about prior criminal charges,” a lawyer said.

Rep. Hank Johnson, a Democrat who represents Georgia’s 4th District, wrote a letter to ICE saying that Abraham-Joseph is a “remarkable young man … (who) spends his time giving back to the community.”

Johnson also noted that he’s a valuable member of the Georgia community and is the sole bread winner for his siblings and three children. “I believe that it would be a serious hardship to She’yaa’s family and a loss for our community if he is not allowed bail so that he can be released from prison,” he said.

According to ICE, 21 has been placed in removal proceedings. There’s no telling if a letter from a representative of the state will help sway ICE’s decision in keeping the rapper in the country.
