Until J.I.D drops The Forever Story album, fans will have to settle for his new “Surround Sound” video. When the year started, the Dreamville rapper promised new music and he delivered.

The video “Surround Sound,” directed by Mac Grant and Chad Tennies, features fellow Georgia natives 21 Savage and Baby Tate and it shows all three artist performing in a garage.

The video begins with J.I.D jumping inside an empty old school car and once the engine starts, the party begins. The inside of the car all of is all of a sudden filled people and has the music blasting.

Beside turning up in the whip, J.I.D turn up with a few ladies whiles he’s rapping as well. 21 follows up by rapping his verse standing next to J.I.D and Baby Tate sings her vocals while laying on top of the car.

After Baby Tate’s verse, the “Surround Sound” transitions into part two of the video. Mac Grant and Chad Tennies shot the second part in black and white, and J.I.D is just spitting bars all throughout a weird looking house.

Again, although J.I.D is yet to drop is highly-anticipated The Forever Story album, we can still expect a lot from the Dreamville artist this year. He recently announced that he’s be performing at the 2022 Coachella music festival, now we new music. Watch his “Surround Sound.” video below.

21 Savage Drops New Songs “No Debate” and “Big Smoke”

7FD2837B 6A23 4458 81C9 B8A8A03283C5

21 Savage released surprise tracks “No Debate” produced by Cardo Got Wings and Deats and “Big Smoke” produced by SG Kid Hazel.

These new songs are Savage’s first solo releases since the critically acclaimed I am > I was in 2018. For fans to commemorate the end of the year, the visual includes songs as well as special music video content. “No Debate” is a freestyle with no hook but good lengthy and confident lines that highlight how much Savage’s rapping talents have improved over time. With a powerful distorted bass and a muttered chorus, “Big Smoke” reminds his followers of the cold-blooded 21 Savage they’re used to. With each single release, Savage outdoes himself and displays how talented he truly is.

This comes after his last album, Savage Mode 2, was published in late 2020, and a four-track EP he released earlier this year to soundtrack the horror film Spiral: From The Book of Saw, starring Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson. Young Thug, Gunna, and Young Nudy all contributed to the soundtrack. In 2022, stay tuned for more from 21 Savage.

[WATCH] 21 Savage: If I Wasn’t A Rapper I Wouldn’t Listen To Drake

Screen Shot 2021 09 29 at 2.25.20 AM

Yesterday, cultural critic DJ Akademiks announced that ATL rap star 21 Savage would be the next guest on his Off The Record podcast. Still, to prep viewers for what’s to come in the upcoming episode, Akademiks posted a clip of Savage where he admits that if he weren’t a rapper, he probably wouldn’t listen to Drake.

Savage contends that “n****s don’t listen to Drake like that,” but also says that as an artist, he listens to Drake and can appreciate how hard he goes to put out successful projects. Drake’s “Knife Talk” feature artist went on to say that fans don’t care about statistics, and to many people in Atlanta, Future is a bigger artist than Drake.

Check out the clip of Savage’s commentary with Akademiks below.

ICYMI: Wack 100 Offered $25K To Let 6ix9ine Crash Rolling Loud Miami

wack 100 6ix9ine

Tekashi 6ix9ine will do anything to get back in the spotlight.

According to Wack 100, 6ix9ine reportedly offered him 25-thousand-dollars to help the rainbow-haired rapper crash last month’s Rolling Loud Miami festival.

“Listen, that n***a offered me—this is real sh*t—he said, ‘I’ll give you $25,000 right now if you give me one of your bands and let me put a hoodie on and walk into Rolling Loud. I said, ‘N**a if I did that, we are never getting booked for Rolling Loud again.’ He tryin’ to get in there! The n***a tried to give me 25 — you know the bands we get, 21.

In response, Wack said he turned down Tekashi’s offer and claimed he “had a death wish.”

“I said, ‘N***a, hell nah.’ ‘Cause the bands got the artist’s name on it. He said, ‘Wack man, I’m sitting here talking with the n***s that used to own Rolling Loud … ‘the n***a got a death wish.’

The news comes as 6ix9ine has been relentlessly trolling his peers since getting out of prison in April 2020, mainly Chicago rappers such as Lil Durk, the late King Von and Lil Reese.

Last week Wack 100 invited 6ix9ine onto the popular Clubhouse app. After a heated conversation ensued more clips of Wack, 21 Savage and 6ix9ine heard arguing have surfaced online.
