The Kansas City Chiefs had a very lackluster showing during their Christmas Day matchup against the Las Vegas Raiders, and it left Taylor Swift and Patrick Mahomes’s wife, Brittany Mahomes, shocked.
Swift was present at the game in a Santa hat with her bae Travis Kelce’s number 87 on it. After a game-sealing run from Lamir White of the Raiders, Mahomes covered her face in shock as Swift held her. The Chiefs would fall 20-14 at Arrowhead Stadium, dropping their record to 9-6.
Patrick Mahomes is looking at the rest of the season positively. “I still believe that we can go do what we want to do,” he said in postgame.
Mahomes added, “We’re two games left that are guaranteed and then you talk about the playoffs and so all you can do is move on to that next day, get better then and try to be better the next time we step on the field.”
Mahomes was 27-for-44 for 235 yards, with one touchdown and one interception. On the other end, quarterback Aidan O’Connell only threw for 62 yards, but the Raiders’ defense continued to make brilliant plays to get the win.
