Federal Prosecutors Recommend 20-24 Years For “Godfather” Of Gorilla Stone Gang

According to a recent report from VladTV, federal prosecutors from the Southern District of New York’s U.S. Attorney’s office are recommending 20 to 24 years in federal prison for who they allege served as the “Godfather” of the Brooklyn-based Gorilla Stone Nation.

31-year-old Donovan “Donnie Love” Gillard plead guilty to a racketeering charge and is set be sentenced on August 17. Southern District prosecutors have linked Gillard to an approximation of 220 and 881 pounds in marijuana sales as well as a failed murder attempt of a rival gang member.

Prosecutors from New York’s U.S. Attorney’s office held a sentencing brief, in which they dubbed Gillard the “Godfather” of the “Money Gang Cave” of Gorilla Stone and even pegged as the “acting Street Leader” of the entire organization. They allege that Gillard ordered hits and was by default entitled to profits made from illegal drug transactions out of state.

“Gillard’s leadership role meant that he was responsible for ensuring that his many reports followed the gang’s rules, including retaliating against rival gang members who threatened the gang’s narcotics dealing or its overall reputation and stature,” federal prosecutors wrote in the sentencing brief. “Gillard was responsible for ensuring that his reports learned the Gorilla Stone oath and its various rules, and he played a role in recruiting young members to the violent gang.”

Gillard’s lawyers have requested that their client be sentenced to no less than the mandatory minimum, citing that Gillard made it through a traumatic childhood, including the death of his mother.

“He is the role model to his girlfriend’s sons, a role he is equally eager to return to, and an ailing aunt that previously relied on his support and daily assistance,” his attorneys wrote in the sentencing brief.

It is suggested that Gillard’s sentencing next week will give some indication as to what type of sentence Brooklyn rapper Caswell “Casanova” Senior could be handed down. Casanova has pleaded guilty to a racketeering offense and faces a maximum of life in prison. Both Senior and Gillard will be sentenced by U.S. District Judge Phillip Halpern.

Casanova’s sentencing is set for December 6, 2022.

Casanova Pleads Guilty to Drug and Racketeering Charges

According to several confirmed reports, Brooklyn rapper Caswell “Casanova” Senior pleaded guilty to drug and racketeering charges today in a Brooklyn federal court. Senior confessed to several crimes as prosecutors claimed he was the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation Bloods gang leader.

Senior surrendered to the FBI at the end of 2020, with prosecutors alleging that the “Don’t Run” rapper directed a drug gang conspiracy from New York to Florida. The U.S. attorney’s office in Manhattan says that Senior confessed to a shooting in Florida in 2020, a 2018 robbery in NYC, and trafficking more than 100 kilos of marijuana.

In December 2020, Casanova was the centerpiece of a federal investigation. He surrendered to the feds on racketeering charges. He was denied bail, despite his lawyers and family situating a $2.5 million bail package, but S. District Judge Phillip Halpern rejected his proposal.

Shortly after co-defendant Shantay Outlaw struck a deal with prosecutors, Senior was hit with an attempted murder charge for the 2020 shooting in Miami, to which he has now admitted guilt.

Casanova is set to be sentenced in federal court in December. He faces a minimum of five years in prison and a maximum of 60 years in prison.

His guilty plea comes within days of Young Thug, Gunna, and 26 other YSL members being indicted on RICO and additional street gangs/organized crime-related charges.

According to a confirmed report from AllHipHop, Caswell “Casanova” Senior’s RICO case has turned up a notch after one of the rapper’s close associates has reportedly taken a plea deal with the FBI.

Shantay Outlaw aka Easy allegedly participated in some of the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation’s criminal activities while managing the organization’s finances, which was revealed through wiretaps. Outlaw allegedly created a not-for-profit organization called D.A. E.M.P.I.R.E., which stands for Determined Adults Exceedingly Motivating Peers Into Responsible Entrepreneurs that according to the feds, gave grants to members of the Gorilla Stone Nation.

It is reported that two other members of the UGSN have struck plea deals with the feds, leaving Casanova’s case looking like a solid conviction by the authorities.

Casanova continues to proclaim his innocence and denies all allegations against him.

Casanova Associate Faces Death Penalty In Gorilla Stone Nation RICO Case

According to several confirmed reports, an associate of jailed Brooklyn rapper Caswel Senior aka Casanova 2X is facing the death penalty if convicted in the R.I.C.O. case in which Cas is also a co-conspirator.

Brandon Soto aka Stacks, was one of the eighteen people taken into custody after being federally charged with violating the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act of 1970 (RICO) following an investigation of the “Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation”. Stacks was singled out as the individual who allegedly murdered a 15-year-old boy in Poughkeepsie, NY in the name of the GSN.

Prosecutors allege Soto killed Jalani Jones in September 2020 and revealed the details of the killing through various social media messages and other forms of telecommunications. Soto allegedly drove the shooter to Poughkeepsie then dropped him back off in Brooklyn after the murder, but didn’t know his car was seen on a surveillance camera.

Police found the vehicle, but prosecutors allege GSN members stole the vehicle and set it on fire in Manhattan to destroy any evidence.

Federal Judge to Consider Casanova’s $2.5M Bail Package Proposal

By next month, a federal judge is expected to rule whether or not he will grant Brooklyn rapper Casanova freedom in a $2.5 million bail package offered up by his family and close friends.

S. District Judge Phillip Halpern is expected to make a decision by February 1, when Casanova and some of his co-defendants will appear in front of Judge Halpern. Casanova and 17 other individuals were indicted at the end of 2020 on RICO charges aimed at the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation gang, an alleged set of the Blood gang.

Casanova, whose real name is Caswell Senior, had his attorneys submit the court filings for his bail package this week, which was put up with cash and property from 13 people from Cas’ friends and family. Prosecutors replied to the motion, calling Casanova an alleged gang leader whose release could be a danger to the community.

Casanova’s attorneys have argued that the rapper is not a flight risk and that going on the run would only put the property of his family at risk.

“With their dependents, there are well over 20 men, women, and children who will be affected by the consequent indebtedness to the Government and the ensuing financial ruin that would follow if (Casanova) were to flee or violate any conditions of his bond,” Casanova’s attorneys wrote. “They know him best, and each of them has expressed their unequivocal certainty that Mr. Senior would never put their financial lives and well-being at risk.”

Cas was indicted on counts of racketeering, trafficking controlled substances, and use of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking. He has not been charged with any violent crimes, however, if convicted of his crimes, he still faces life in prison.
