According to legal documents obtained by TMZ, Casanova 2X is asking a federal judge not to throw the book at him after pleading guilty in a drug trafficking/ RICO case and has now denounced his gang affiliation to prove his commitment to changing his life around.

The Roc Nation rapper begged the judge for leniency in a heartfelt letter, in which he denounced his Gorilla Stone Nation Bloods ties and promises to continue to speak out against gang life.

Casanova, whose real name is Caswell Senior, says that he used the gang life to build a rep in the rap game, but asserts he no longer wants any parts of the fast life.

The “Set Trippin” rapper said that his lack of a father figure aided his decision to look towards the street life, but says that Hip Hop created a positive outlet for him despite his circumstances. He added that he wanted to speak against gang life while incarcerated and says that he’s met other people behind bars that will help him with his anti-gang campaign.

For the drug and RICO charges, Casanova faces up to 60 years in prison. His sentencing is scheduled for later this month.

An exclusive report from VladTV has revealed that the rapper Casanova’s co-defendant and the “Godfather” of the “Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation” was sentenced the 20 years plus eight months in federal prison for racketeering this week.

Federal prosecutors recommended 2-24 years behind bars for Donovan “Donnie Love” Gillard during his sentencing brief last week after pleading guilty to racketeering. The 31-year-old gang leader was linked to various crimes, including the trafficking of hundreds of pounds of marijuana, attempted murder, and a fraud scheme related to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Caswell “Casanova” Senior, who has also plead guilty to racketeering and narcotics charges, is up for sentencing in federal court on Dec. 16. The “SO Brooklyn” rapper is facing a maximum of 60 years in prison.

Federal Prosecutors Recommend 20-24 Years For “Godfather” Of Gorilla Stone Gang

Screen Shot 2022 08 12 at 5.58.04 AM

According to a recent report from VladTV, federal prosecutors from the Southern District of New York’s U.S. Attorney’s office are recommending 20 to 24 years in federal prison for who they allege served as the “Godfather” of the Brooklyn-based Gorilla Stone Nation.

31-year-old Donovan “Donnie Love” Gillard plead guilty to a racketeering charge and is set be sentenced on August 17. Southern District prosecutors have linked Gillard to an approximation of 220 and 881 pounds in marijuana sales as well as a failed murder attempt of a rival gang member.

Prosecutors from New York’s U.S. Attorney’s office held a sentencing brief, in which they dubbed Gillard the “Godfather” of the “Money Gang Cave” of Gorilla Stone and even pegged as the “acting Street Leader” of the entire organization. They allege that Gillard ordered hits and was by default entitled to profits made from illegal drug transactions out of state.

“Gillard’s leadership role meant that he was responsible for ensuring that his many reports followed the gang’s rules, including retaliating against rival gang members who threatened the gang’s narcotics dealing or its overall reputation and stature,” federal prosecutors wrote in the sentencing brief. “Gillard was responsible for ensuring that his reports learned the Gorilla Stone oath and its various rules, and he played a role in recruiting young members to the violent gang.”

Gillard’s lawyers have requested that their client be sentenced to no less than the mandatory minimum, citing that Gillard made it through a traumatic childhood, including the death of his mother.

“He is the role model to his girlfriend’s sons, a role he is equally eager to return to, and an ailing aunt that previously relied on his support and daily assistance,” his attorneys wrote in the sentencing brief.

It is suggested that Gillard’s sentencing next week will give some indication as to what type of sentence Brooklyn rapper Caswell “Casanova” Senior could be handed down. Casanova has pleaded guilty to a racketeering offense and faces a maximum of life in prison. Both Senior and Gillard will be sentenced by U.S. District Judge Phillip Halpern.

Casanova’s sentencing is set for December 6, 2022.

New Prison Photo Of Casanova Surfaces Online

Screen Shot 2022 08 06 at 6.06.55 AM

Incarcerated Brooklyn emcee Caswell “Casanova” Senior is sitting in a federal detention facility after pleading guilty to racketeering and drug distribution charges earlier this year. Now, a new photo of Casanova behind bars has surfaced online.

Cas seems to be in good spirits from the look of the image, draped in a yellow, federal prisoner’s uniform while giving a half-smile to the camera.

Senior is slated to be sentenced in December, where he could receive anywhere from five to sixty years in federal prison.

As previously reported, Casanova was arrested along with 17 other co-conspirators in 2020 on federal racketeering and drug charge after the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation fell to a RICO indictment, which involved firearms charges, narcotics, fraud and the murder of a 15-year-old male.

Casanova Took Guilty Plea In Fed Case Because Someone Named Him In Several Crimes

Screen Shot 2022 05 18 at 7.53.13 AM

It was recently reported that Brooklyn rapper Caswell “Casanova 2X” Senior plead guilty to a list of federal crimes, which could land him behind bars for up to 60 years . Now, it is being reported that Cas gave up the fight in court after someone allegedly dropped a dime about the crimes that the “So Brooklyn” rapper was allegedly involved in.

A Rolling Stone article stated that federal authorities claim that a cooperating witness testified about the illegal activities that Senior conducted as leader of a splinter group of the Bloods gang called the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation.

Assistant U.S. Attorney David Felton said that a social media post with Casanova standing next to a large amount of marijuana along with the statement from the witness saying that Casanova received “shipments of large quantities of marijuana” was enough to convict him of drug trafficking.

Felton also said that social media DMs confirmed that Senior was a member of the gang, while one member of the alleged gang said that Senior always carried a gun on him. The Assistant U.S. Attorney also said “Gorilla Stone members saw [Casanova] and his rap career as a way to make money and increase their status among other Bloods sects.”

Senior has plead guilty to the drug and racketeering charges and is set to be sentenced on December 6.

Casanova Pleads Guilty to Drug and Racketeering Charges

Screen Shot 2022 05 12 at 2.39.14 PM

According to several confirmed reports, Brooklyn rapper Caswell “Casanova” Senior pleaded guilty to drug and racketeering charges today in a Brooklyn federal court. Senior confessed to several crimes as prosecutors claimed he was the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation Bloods gang leader.

Senior surrendered to the FBI at the end of 2020, with prosecutors alleging that the “Don’t Run” rapper directed a drug gang conspiracy from New York to Florida. The U.S. attorney’s office in Manhattan says that Senior confessed to a shooting in Florida in 2020, a 2018 robbery in NYC, and trafficking more than 100 kilos of marijuana.

In December 2020, Casanova was the centerpiece of a federal investigation. He surrendered to the feds on racketeering charges. He was denied bail, despite his lawyers and family situating a $2.5 million bail package, but S. District Judge Phillip Halpern rejected his proposal.

Shortly after co-defendant Shantay Outlaw struck a deal with prosecutors, Senior was hit with an attempted murder charge for the 2020 shooting in Miami, to which he has now admitted guilt.

Casanova is set to be sentenced in federal court in December. He faces a minimum of five years in prison and a maximum of 60 years in prison.

His guilty plea comes within days of Young Thug, Gunna, and 26 other YSL members being indicted on RICO and additional street gangs/organized crime-related charges.

Screen Shot 2022 01 12 at 12.11.38 PM

Accused Brooklyn rapper Casanova 2X has been fighting an attempted murder in his RICO case since November and says that Hov has done more than enough to help him with his case.

Cas jumped on Twitter last night (January 11) to tell his fans to stop asking him to get the music mogul more involved in his federal case. Casanova was signed to Roc Nation six years ago and even though Hov was able to step in and help rappers like 21 Savage in his ICE case, Cas says that Jay has done his due.

Casanova also discussed Roddy Rich’s affiliation with the hood, saying, “N-GGAS WANT @RoddyRicch to be in the hood so he can end up like me lol,” he wrote. “Man fuck that shit @RoddyRicch keep making that 20 million a year, it beats shooting the wrong video in the hood and shit go left. I hope that don’t go over your head.”
