ICYMI: Retired C.O Accused Of Leaking R. Kelly’s Business To Blogger

R. Kelly Blogger

A retired Bureau of Prisons employee is accused of leaking information about singer R. Kelly to an entertainment blogger while he was locked up in Chicago’s downtown federal jail.

Federal authorities sought a judge’s permission last year to search the worker’s computer following a report that blogger TashaK had shared information that was available only to B.O.P. employees.

Records show the employee had accessed Kelly’s records more than 150 times in 2019. No charges have been filed in the case.

Kelly faces federal racketeering charges in Brooklyn and federal child pornography and obstruction of justice charges in Chicago.

The latest news follows the first man who testified against R. Kelly, saying the singer lured him to his home and studio when he was 17 with promises of helping his music career but instead sexually abused him.

The 54-year-old has denies all charges and faces between 10 years and life in prison if convicted on all counts.

The trial is expected to last at least a month.

Federal Judge to Consider Casanova’s $2.5M Bail Package Proposal

Screen Shot 2021 01 08 at 8.30.06 AM

By next month, a federal judge is expected to rule whether or not he will grant Brooklyn rapper Casanova freedom in a $2.5 million bail package offered up by his family and close friends.

S. District Judge Phillip Halpern is expected to make a decision by February 1, when Casanova and some of his co-defendants will appear in front of Judge Halpern. Casanova and 17 other individuals were indicted at the end of 2020 on RICO charges aimed at the Untouchable Gorilla Stone Nation gang, an alleged set of the Blood gang.

Casanova, whose real name is Caswell Senior, had his attorneys submit the court filings for his bail package this week, which was put up with cash and property from 13 people from Cas’ friends and family. Prosecutors replied to the motion, calling Casanova an alleged gang leader whose release could be a danger to the community.

Casanova’s attorneys have argued that the rapper is not a flight risk and that going on the run would only put the property of his family at risk.

“With their dependents, there are well over 20 men, women, and children who will be affected by the consequent indebtedness to the Government and the ensuing financial ruin that would follow if (Casanova) were to flee or violate any conditions of his bond,” Casanova’s attorneys wrote. “They know him best, and each of them has expressed their unequivocal certainty that Mr. Senior would never put their financial lives and well-being at risk.”

Cas was indicted on counts of racketeering, trafficking controlled substances, and use of a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking. He has not been charged with any violent crimes, however, if convicted of his crimes, he still faces life in prison.

[WATCH] Tekashi 6ix9ine Caught On Video Allegedly Ordering Hit On Chief Keef’s Cousin

In the latest to unfold in the drama of Brooklyn rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine, a video has emerged online that possibly may further implicate Tek in some serious federal crimes, including an alleged murder for hire.

In a video recorded in late May, 69 can be seen and heard on the phone with Chief Keef’s cousin Tadoe trying to find out his whereabouts during a visit to NYC. Coincidentally, this call occurred just days before shots were fired at Keef in front of his hotel in NYC.

This could not have come at a worse time, with Tekashi now facing federal charges after being arrested this week for racketeering and firearms among other charges.

How much of a part will this play in Tek’s fed case?

Feds Claim Tekashi’s Estranged Crew Members’ Plans To “Super Violate Him” Brought About His Arrest

While controversial Brooklyn rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine is facing the rest of his natural life behind bars, the story behind the cause of his arrest may prompt the 22 year old emcee to reconsider his affiliations.

According to the Asst. U.S. District Attorney, Tek almost became a victim top his own crew after his comments on The Breakfast Club, alleging that some of his own people were praying on his downfall.

“They wanted to ‘super violate’ him”, said the prosecutor in reference to his former crew mates. He said the term “super violate” meant to perform a “violent act, including shooting him.”

Fearing for his life, federal agents picked up the “Gummo” rapper at his home on Saturday and brought him to FBI headquarters for his protection. They initially didn’t arrest him and offered to keep the rapper safe. He refused their help and signed a waiver so that he coud be released.

The next day, federal authorities from the ATF and Homeland Security took 6ix9ine into custody after learning that Tekashi was planning a trip to Connecticut’s Foxwoods Casinos and there may be an attempt on his life there.

According to prosecutors, 6ix 9ine and the Nine Trey set of the Blood gang in Brooklyn “committed. conspired, attempted and threatened to commit acts of violence including acts involving murder, robbery and extortion against rival gang members and other individuals adverse to the enterprise.”

Tekashi, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, is due back in court today to be formally arraigned on six federal charges. He faces a possible life sentence in prison.
