After some years without a hit single, the “Taste” rapper comes through with a banger. With the help of Offset of the rockstar supergroup, Migos, the song peaked at number 8 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts. Last night the two rappers brought the Jimmy Kimmel Live Crowd a “Taste” of this summer smash.
Both rappers acted as crowd pleasers and gave the audience their money’s worth. They were assisted with background dancers, laced in red latex. In Tyga’s most recent interview with Billboard, the former Young Money rapper talks about the song’s creation and its process as a “cakewalk.”
“I always like to record the first thing that comes to mind when I hear something so I came up with the first four bars,” he said.
“I did the song in 30 minutes. Some beats just bring out that spirit in you and it was just a cake walk.”
He then goes on to speak about the initials reactions immediately after dropping the song. The song has since gotten over xxx amount of views since it’s release.
