The 10-episode series investigates the ups and downs of the “fame game” when reputations are at stake and lives are on the line. Each episode unravels the mystery and the motives behind the crimes, revealing a dark side to being in the public eye when betrayal, jealousy, and greed lead to tragedy.

The new season starts off with the case of Jam Master Jay – “It’s Tricky.” When hip hop icon Jam Master Jay is killed inside his Hollis, Queens recording studio, the case goes cold…for nearly 2 decades. Ceasar Emanuel Says He Was Set Up and Was Stopping a Dog Fight in Viral Video

Ceasar Emanuel Says He Was Set Up and Was Stopping a Dog Fight in Viral Video

Last week, Ceasar Emanuel was axed from VH1 after a video from a ring camera showed him abusing a dog with a chair and tossing the dog’s cage around a backyard. Emanuel would speak with TMZ, stating the video is a setup and he was trying to break up a fight between two dogs. Ceasar owns the Black Ink Tattoo shop in New York City, in addition to shops in Atlanta, Orlando, and Houston.

“I know the footage that everybody seen – it looks crazy,” Ceasar said. “Even me looking at it, it looks crazy. But it’s a moment in time I wish I could take back. I came home, my dogs is attacking each other.”

He added, “I separated the dogs. Now, one of the dogs attacked me. What I did was open the garage door, try to deescalate it. But I was nervous. I’m not gonna tell you no lie. I was nervous and I was scared. So, at the end of the day, I was trying to back the dog down. I was honestly trying to scare him. At not one time was I trying to abuse this dog. All I was trying to do was get him back in his cage.”

Ceasar stated the footage from his Ring camera is a setup.

“I don’t know how the footage got leaked,” Emanuel said. “I know that was off my Ring camera, I’ma keep it a buck with you. I feel like I’m being set up in some way because the way I’m being portrayed, that’s not my character.”

Later in the interview, Ceasar stated he has received death threats online.

TMZ notes Ceasar is being investigated by animal services and law enforcement. A representative for Fulton County Animal Services stated they have been working with South Fulton PD to investigate what occurred at Ceasar’s home. There reportedly is still time to charge him for the incident.

Last week, in response to the video leak, VH1 decided to no longer work with the New York native.

A statement from VH1 was released on social media Thursday afternoon:

We have made the decision to cut ties with Ceaser Emanuel from Black Ink Crew New York. Since next season was close to finishing production, this decision will not impact the upcoming season.

Speaking with TMZ, Ceasar’s attorney, Walter Mosley, pointed out the video is old. “There is no police involvement,” Mosley said. “It was shot at his residence in Atlanta during COVID.”

Former Black Ink Crew cast member spoke out against Ceasar online while sharing the video.

“If you can treat a dog like this, it shows how sick of a person you truly are,” she wrote. “I don’t even get into the life of this man, but this video made me so upset. Anyone who knows me, knows I LOVE animals. Especially dogs.”

She added, “Even after he beat his daughter up, @vh1 @viacom_intl & the new @blackinkcrew producers tried to protect Ceaser, even made up fake conflicting storylines about my relationship to do it! Now this, cannot be undone. I pray the people see you, @ceaserblackink , as the monster you are. Your karma has been adding up for years, but to do this to two innocent dogs!?! This is crazy. CHARGES NEED TO BE PRESSED, and CANCELLATIONS NEED TO BE MADE!”

T.I. Calls out VH1 After Fans Say They Miss ‘Family Hustle’ Reality Show

71q MMusJL. RI

For a while, T.I. and his family were a staple on VH1 with their reality series. Their last series, Family Hustle, detailed the lives of the Harris family and their close friends.

After T.I. and Tiny were accused of the sexual assault and drugging of women, VH1 seemingly pulled the plug. T.I. finally addressed the network once a fan stated they missed the show.

“@vh1 13 years no loyalty. No Integrity. Just jumped to conclusions. False accusations. No apology. No accountability. No closure. In the name of protecting women…while unfairly, without due process….Subsequently punishing Women??? No problem,” T.I. wrote.

At the height of the allegations, VH1 suspended production to “gather more information.”

You can see the post from T.I. here.

VH1 Black Ink’s Ceaser: “I’m No Abuser”

Screen Shot 2021 05 25 at 11.47.42 AM

Founder of VH1’s Black Ink Crew Ceaser Emanuel held a press conference on May 20, 2021 in New York, NY to address the lawsuit he recently filed to end defaming statements made on social media by his daughter’s mother Crystal Torres. Ceaser was joined by his attorney Walter Mosley of Los Angeles-based law firm Mosley and Associates, specializing in the representation of high-profile celebrities.

Ceaser Emanuel is a tattoo artist and star of VH1’s Black Ink Crew (BIC). Even as a significant American reality television personality and a businessman, he still works as a talented tattoo artist and the owner of his NY-based tattoo shop, “Harlem,” which is featured on the Black Ink Crew show. Ceaser has touched millions of people with his work, garnering over 2.4 million followers on Instagram.

The BIC lead only sued Crystal Torres for repeating and elaborating the claim that their 17-year-old daughter Cheyenne made in January that her father pulled her out of the shower and beat her. Ceaser has explained that the statement is a lie and that he merely disciplined his daughter by taking away some of the things he bought for her. Now he’s taking legal action, filing a lawsuit for defamation against Crystal for publicly asserting that he was a child abuser.

“I am concerned for my daughter Cheyenne; her mother has corrupted her. I would do anything in my power to have my daughter back in my life. She is the sole heir to my Black Ink empire. I am nothing without her, and I miss her by my side. I have been dealing with this family matter for a while. And every time I feel like I am getting somewhere, I am being shut down and pulled away from speaking with my daughter directly…Everything I’ve built has been for my daughter,” Ceaser explains.

Crystal went on a social media rant on Monday sharing the “lies” she claims Ceaser is spreading. According to his lawsuit, Ceaser says that’s just one example of her defaming him, which he says ruined his rep and cost him a lot of money. The suit states that many of Crystal’s IG posts and interviews are inflammatory and false. Ceaser explains that he provided Crystal a letter from the GA Fulton County Dept. of Family & Children Services clearing him of any abuse charges. Despite the evidence provided, she has continued to smear his name on various online platforms, which resulted in lost endorsement deals and having to put his massive VH1 reality show on pause due to an internal investigation. Additionally, it halted his volunteer work with the community and underserved kids as people falsely assumed he was guilty of abuse.

Ceaser Is Getting His House In Order & Firing Folks In Latest ‘Black Ink Crew: New York’ Promo

Ceaser Black Ink Crew: New York

Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz

Currently, we are still in Chi-town following the crew from 9Mag and 2nd City Ink, but we will be returning to the home of Black Ink, New York, and it looks like Ceaser is tired of the drama associated with his empire.

When Black Ink Crew: New York returns February 26, Ceaser will be taking a page out of Ryan Henry’s book and letting some people go, among other changes, to get his house in order. In the 30-second promo, Ceaser is holding an emergency meeting with his current staff, and he is not too happy even after opening a new shop in Brooklyn.

Per the press release, Ceaser is trying to “break the cycle of ineptitude,” and after a series of events where his staff was acting wild, he calls the meeting. Once everyone is gathered, Ceaser puts them on notice by shocking with them a series of significant changes, which include some firings, promotions, and demotions. If your name isn’t Ceaser, pretty much your job isn’t safe this upcoming season.

Interestingly enough, while we don’t see it in the promo for the new season, the press release does hint at Teddy’s mystery wedding and possibly expecting a child. Ted will stay mum on the situation while his ex, Tati, decides she wants to get to the bottom of the case for whatever reason.

Another eye-opening detail from the press release is that Kitty will be returning to the show, BUT she will be in Chicago  to “explore a new life and a possible love connection with Ryan.” We are very intrigued to see how that will play out with her former boss Ceaser.

Well, until the super trailer drops, you can get yourself hype for the new season of Black Ink Crew: New York by watching the promo below.

#BlackInkChi: Charmaine Says Goodbye To Her Mom, Ryan & Miss Kitty Kinda Hint At Messing Around

Miss Kitty and Ryan Henry Black Ink Crew

Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz

Last week’s episode of Black Ink Crew: Chicago was a tough one as we witnessed the events leading up to the tragic passing of Charmaine’s mom, Glenda. This week the crew heads to New Orleans to support Charmaine, Neek, and her dad.

The episode opens up with the 2nd City Ink crew discussing Charmaine’s mom passing away. Jess reveals that Ryan rented a house in New Orleans, and they are more than welcome to come and stay there to attend the funeral. Jess admits due to the tension between Ryan’s shop and 2nd City Ink, she was a bit skeptical but thinks the gesture was incredibly thoughtful of him. Everyone is down to go except for Fly Tatted, who can’t leave the state due to being on parole and Prince because he can’t miss his visitation day with his son.

Look at the passing of Glenda bringing everyone together…for now.

Speaking of the two 2nd City Artists, Fly Tatted takes Prince to pick up his on. Prince details his sour relationship with his son’s mother, so co-parenting has not been going smoothly. Apparently, Prince’s unfortunate run-in with the law didn’t sit well with his baby momma, so she left him. Fly offers Prince some sound advice and tells him he should have a conversation with her so they can at least fix their co-parenting situation.

When Prince links up with his baby momma, he takes Fly Tatted’s advice. She tells Prince that she is a new person and gets a bit emotional when bringing up the point they haven’t had spoken in a long time. She admits that taking care of their son while Prince was locked up was hard, and she only broke up with him because she needed space to process things. Prince tells her he wants to be a family again and believes a fresh start will be the best thing for them. His son’s mother feels the same way, and it looks like Prince got his family back.

Phor hangs out with the young teenage girl, Iyanah, we met last week who could possibly be his daughter. Despite not him not taking a paternity test to confirm whether or not he is her father, the two bond while getting a manicure. Iyanah tells Phor she likes his music (that new Black Ink Chi theme is fire), and he is definitely feeling that. Phor asks her if she’s into the arts, she tells him that she is more focused on becoming an attorney.

Phor breaks down to his possible daughter that he knew his dad, but wasn’t close to him because his father made no attempt to be in his life. Iyanah understands and hopes things work out for the better between herself and Phor.

While Phor’s relationship with Iyanah is going well, his brother Don is a bit skeptical and understandably so. Don doesn’t want his brother to get too invested with the girl yet because he has not taken the paternity test. Don gets upset when Phor tells him he doesn’t understand his point of view and storms out.

Meanwhile, in Lousiana, Charmaine’s dad, Mike, is going through it, hell he just lost his wife suddenly, so it’s totally understandable. Charmaine and Neek are worried about him because they are not used to seeing him in the state he is. Mike walks into the kitchen, and the pain from losing Glenda is written on all over his face.

Charmaine and Neek console him.

We catch up with the 2nd City Ink crew, and they finally arrived at the house in New Orleans. They are greeted by Ryan, he reveals that the reason Don and Phor didn’t come because they didn’t feel like they were welcomed. Ryan thanks them for coming and tells them Charmaine is going to need all of their support.

It’s time for Glenda’s going home service, and a lot of people show up to say goodbye, including Miss Kitty, and old Black Ink Crew Chi cast member Kat. After some beautiful words from Charmaine to her mom, everyone hangs out in front of the church.

Ryan introduces Kitty to Jess, who immediately asks Kitty how does she know Charmaine? Kitty tells her she has known her for a long time and that she did Glenda’s makeup. Jess is shocked that Kitty was able to carry out such a task.

Another special moment takes place with Charmaine, Ryan, Danielle reflecting on their long history and the fact Kat even showed up. Charmaine revealed the real reason why Don and Phor were not at the funeral due to them still not being on good terms. Ryan and Kat, on the other hand, seem to have gotten past any issues they had with each other.

Speaking of Ryan, his “relationship” with Miss Kitty becomes the topic of discussion at Charmaine’s mother’s funeral of all places. Charmaine thanks Kitty for the exceptional job she did on her mom’s makeup, and during the conversation, she brings up the rumors of Kitty and Ryan possibly hooking up. Miss Kitty playfully makes it seem like she and Ryan are just friends while hinting there could be something more. Ryan, on the other hand, doesn’t have no qualms by egging us on and suggesting they are indeed smashing.

Things got interesting when Charmaine offers Kitty a job at 2nd City Ink. That suggestion doesn’t sit well with Jess, who feels as co-owner Charmaine should have that conversation with her, and she doesn’t care to be making up job positions. It looks like we got some new drama brewing.

The episode closes with Charmaine closing out the funeral with a second line and the releasing of doves. A touching tribute to her mother.

You can peep the reactions to the episode below.

Yung Joc Shares Why He Got His Fiance’s Name Tattooed On the Side of his Genitals

Yung Joc is back in the headlines again! This time for something far more personal than being an uber driver. In an episode of Brunch With Tiffany, Joc sits down and shares with the HBIC that he has his fiance’s name tatted in only an area that she can see. The Love and Hip-Hop Atlanta star tells Tiffany, what drew him to get the “bold italicized letters.”

“I knew that with my history and background when it came to women, I knew someone would be coming out the woodworks, with my lady being an attorney,” The PullUpNGo driver shared.

Brunch With Tiffany fans have gotten the opportunity to see many Love and Hip Hop stars on her show including Scrapp Deleon, Lil Fizz, Mama Dee, and Apryl Jones. Besides Joc’s tattoo, the two also talk about their shared experience as castmates on VH1’s Scared Straight. Tiffany cleared up that she slid into Joc and Love and Hip Hop star, Safaree Samuels beds, in all innocence because she was scared, clearing up the speculation from fans who believed her intentions were otherwise. They also discussed how Safaree’s fit body type inspired Joc to want to get in the gym and the reason behind Tiffany getting a breast reduction.

All in all, it may have been surprising for fans to see how Joc kept his composure despite New York’s obvious flirting. It goes to show just how serious he is for his fiance, Kendra.

Last season we saw Charmaine get the boot from 9MAG being that she brought not a single celebrity in the shop. For season 6, it looks like her firing will come back to bite Ryan and his tattoo shop in the ass.

A new teaser has arrived, and it’s giving us a glimpse at the battle for tattoo supremacy in the Windy City. Ryan and 9MAG will face some new competition from Charmaine and newcomer, Jessica Simpson, an internationally famed tattoo artist. The two ladies are teaming up to take on 9MAG by opening a new female-owned shop called Second City Ink for true Chicago Natives who have struggled through the system and knows how to use a tattoo gun.

According to a press release, a rival tattoo shop ran by a former employee isn’t the only thing he will be tackling. This season we will also see Ryan go to therapy to deal with the grief he’s been ignoring following his sister’s death. Don and Phor will also be helping their boss and friend keep the circle tight. Ryan will also be working on developing a better relationship with his son while working on co-parenting with his son’s mother, Rachel.

Speaking of Phor, he will be focusing more on his mental health as well and using his platform to spread awareness about his experiences. Don is now focused on his acting career more than ever, but a health scare with his wife will become a distraction for both him and his family.

We are still currently in New York dealing with the shenanigans of the Black Ink Crew: New York cast, but we can’t front we eager to return to Chicago on December 4. You can watch the teaser for Black Ink Crew: Chicago below.
