‘Black Ink Crew’ Recap: Ceaser & Ted Build Their Case Against Walt, Ban Him From All The Shops

Ceaser & Walter Black Ink Crew

Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz83

Last week’s Black Ink Crew: New York premiere, we learned that Walt allegedly “broke into” the 125th shop and stole jewelry, merchandise, and $5K. Ceaser, Ted, and Puma break the news to the crew and make a tough decision about their brother.

The episode picks right up where last week’s ended with Walt explaining to Ted exactly what happened that night in the shop when the alleged break-in happened. The season 9 premiere ended with Walt admitting that he took the money out of the register, leaving us with a cliffhanger.

Walt tells Ted he took the money because he needed it to handle some personal situations, and when he was able to recoup it, he planned on paying the bread back before anyone noticed. As far as the break-in is concerned, Walt says it was an isolated incident that happened a week later after he took the money.

Unfortunately, Ceaser and Ted’s minds are already made up, and they think he definitely was behind the robbery. Ceaser has heard enough and tells Walt to take a hike. He feels he has been betrayed and isn’t trying to hear any excuses from Walt due to the evidence pointing to suggesting that Walt did.

The following day Ceaser links up with Ted, Puma, and Ceaser’s cousin Feezy to survey the crime scene. Ceaser breaks it all down, alleging Walter jimmied the lock to gain entry to the shop and hit a secret stash that only an employee would know about before hitting the register and taking the jewelry and merchandise. While Ted, Ceaser, and Feezy are all but certain it was Walt, Puma isn’t sure yet and asked why Walt would have to jimmy the lock if he has the key to the shop?

Now, it’s officially time to break the bad news to the crew. Ceaser shares all of the evidence against Walt with his other employees, and they are shocked, but some more revelations are revealed. Black Ink’s newest couple, Krystal and Rokmatic, reveal they saw Walter engaging in some really funny business with the money and even shorting tattoo jobs and pocketing the cash.

The allegations dumbfound Ceaser, and it only helps him make the decision easier to ban Walt from all of the tattoo shops from now on, labeling him persona non grata. Puma is still not there and feels he needs to have a conversation with Walt due to Walt’s history with alcoholism and feels he could be going through something that would force him to make such a rash decision.

Following the meeting, Puma links up with Walter where it all began, the old flagship shop on 113th. The two friends have a conversation about the whole theft matter, and Walter sheds more light on the situation. He revealed the only reason he took the money was that he was behind on his child support and was looking at jail time. Puma, who, for the most part, tried to be very understanding, didn’t think that was a great excuse to steal from the person who helped him.

Before the two walked away, Puma wished Walt the best of luck and tells him it would be best if he stayed away from the crew. Walt believes this is a situation that time will eventually heal, and all indications point to that happening based on Ceaser’s track record when it comes to “beefing” with his friends.

Other notable moments from Monday night’s episode include:

Puma decides to seek therapy because he feels overwhelmed by the COVID-19 pandemic and shootings of unarmed Black men by the police. Good for you, Black man, get that help.

Young Bae, who is looking marvelous, tells Ted she is not coming back to Black Ink… yet and reveals she has had her own tattoo shop for 12 years.

Oh, and Rok and Krystal are “dating” and claim they love each other. Krystal doesn’t want to go public to express their feelings for each other when they are in the shop. We shall see how long that lasts.

Oh, and last but certainly not least, Tatti revealed that Donna bought Alex’s mom a new ass. What an interesting gift to give your future mother-in-law.

#LHHNY: Mr. & Mrs. Samuels Are Finally Official, Jim Helps Juelz, Karlie Redd & Sierra Denied Entry

LHHNY Season 10 Super Trailer

Source: VH1 / VH1

After tempers flared at Erica and Safaree’s joint bachelor and bachelorette party, their upcoming wedding is once again looking shaky. This week’s episode picks right up where last week’s left off.

Looks like Safaree is having some second thoughts about jumping the broom with Erica Mena. He heads to Yandy’s house to vent to her about what went down the previous night. He explains that he did invite Rich to the party, which led to all the drama, but he was not feeling Erica’s lingerie mob coming for him about his decision.

Safaree tells Yandy he is not as happy as he was when he first proposed to Erica. Yandy quickly reminds him that’s not how relationships work, and there are gonna be problems which is healthy, he just has to be committed to fixing them. Yandy further explains to Safaree that he shouldn’t walk away from his commitment just because of one argument. Safaree isn’t trying to hear it and tells Yandy he is tired of dealing with negativity because it’s only going to get worse and storms out of Yandy’s crib.

Meanwhile, Safaree’s bride-to-be, Erica, isn’t in a good space either following the events at the bachelor/bachelorette party. To get her mind straight, she is staying at Remy and Papoose’s apartment instead of her house to avoid Safaree. Just like her fiancé, she is not happy. Erica can’t wrap her head around the fact that Safaree invited Rich, a man whom she claims disrespected her over the years, previous seasons of LHHNY say otherwise.

Anyway, Remy tries to explain to Erica that great marriages work out their issues, which results in stronger bonds. Erica tells Remy all she wants Safaree to do was step up and protect her in that situation despite knowing he is not a confrontational person, a quality she admits she loves about him.

We step away from the marriage no one really cares about and catch up with Kimbella. She gets a call from her currently incarcerated husband, Juelz. He tells her that he got the photos of the kids she sent him and that he misses his family. Kimbella tells him that she reconnected with Chrissy, and he thinks that’s great. Kimbella also mentions to Juelz that she linked up with his brother and that they want to do something with the music he has recorded but never got around to releasing. After a brief silence, Juelz gives her his blessings, and she is happy.

We check back in with our *sarcastic voice* favorite couple. It would seem the conversations they had helped them see the bigger picture, so the wedding is still on.  When Safaree arrives at the venue, his sister — who is also his best man — gives him a rosary with a picture of his deceased uncle on it. Safaree and his uncle had a special relationship, so the gesture brings him to tears.

The tears didn’t stop there, before the big ceremony, the couple seeing each other in their wedding drip brings them both to tears. Safaree gifts his bride a bracelet with her dead father’s signature, so she can feel like he is there at the wedding with her as she walks down the aisle. What a thoughtful gesture from Mr. Samuels.

We zap over to Chrissy’s home, no not the one that got foreclosed; apparently, they got themselves some new digs. Jimmy is back in town and already getting trouble because Chrissy caught him smoking. They talk about Kimbella, and Jim mentions he wants to check on her.  The Dipset Capo also expresses that he still has a lot of love for Juelz as well.

Before Safaree and Erica say I do, there is a bit of drama at the wedding venue. Tahiry and Joe link up to admire their wedding fits and are eventually joined by Yandy and her plus one Jonathan. Things get spicy between Tahiry and Jonathan go back and forth about the argument they had in a previous episode where he stuck up for Cyn because he thought Erica was messy by trying to hook joe and Tahiry up.

Joe finally chimes in and tells them his current situation with Cyn is none of their business and leaves it that. Another issue pops up when LHHATL stars, Karlie Redd and Sierra, show up. Apparently, they are not on the list and could not watch the ceremony due to Karlie sending in the invite late.

Finally, we get to the wedding, and more tears flow as the couple exchange vows and say I do, we are finally introduced to Mr. and Mrs. Samuels.

We head back to the city, and the ladies of Dipset, JuJu (Cam’ron’s ex), Chrissy and Kimbella meet up at a bar. Kimbella brings everyone up to speed on how Juelz is doing and says he feels like a lot of people don’t care about him anymore. Chrissy proves that is not the case by handing Kimbella an envelope full of cash from Jim. Kimbella appreciates the kind gesture. This episode was light on the drama, don’t worry, Love and Hip Hop will be back on its bullsh*t next week.

#BlackInkChi: Charmaine Says Goodbye To Her Mom, Ryan & Miss Kitty Kinda Hint At Messing Around

Miss Kitty and Ryan Henry Black Ink Crew

Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz

Last week’s episode of Black Ink Crew: Chicago was a tough one as we witnessed the events leading up to the tragic passing of Charmaine’s mom, Glenda. This week the crew heads to New Orleans to support Charmaine, Neek, and her dad.

The episode opens up with the 2nd City Ink crew discussing Charmaine’s mom passing away. Jess reveals that Ryan rented a house in New Orleans, and they are more than welcome to come and stay there to attend the funeral. Jess admits due to the tension between Ryan’s shop and 2nd City Ink, she was a bit skeptical but thinks the gesture was incredibly thoughtful of him. Everyone is down to go except for Fly Tatted, who can’t leave the state due to being on parole and Prince because he can’t miss his visitation day with his son.

Look at the passing of Glenda bringing everyone together…for now.

Speaking of the two 2nd City Artists, Fly Tatted takes Prince to pick up his on. Prince details his sour relationship with his son’s mother, so co-parenting has not been going smoothly. Apparently, Prince’s unfortunate run-in with the law didn’t sit well with his baby momma, so she left him. Fly offers Prince some sound advice and tells him he should have a conversation with her so they can at least fix their co-parenting situation.

When Prince links up with his baby momma, he takes Fly Tatted’s advice. She tells Prince that she is a new person and gets a bit emotional when bringing up the point they haven’t had spoken in a long time. She admits that taking care of their son while Prince was locked up was hard, and she only broke up with him because she needed space to process things. Prince tells her he wants to be a family again and believes a fresh start will be the best thing for them. His son’s mother feels the same way, and it looks like Prince got his family back.

Phor hangs out with the young teenage girl, Iyanah, we met last week who could possibly be his daughter. Despite not him not taking a paternity test to confirm whether or not he is her father, the two bond while getting a manicure. Iyanah tells Phor she likes his music (that new Black Ink Chi theme is fire), and he is definitely feeling that. Phor asks her if she’s into the arts, she tells him that she is more focused on becoming an attorney.

Phor breaks down to his possible daughter that he knew his dad, but wasn’t close to him because his father made no attempt to be in his life. Iyanah understands and hopes things work out for the better between herself and Phor.

While Phor’s relationship with Iyanah is going well, his brother Don is a bit skeptical and understandably so. Don doesn’t want his brother to get too invested with the girl yet because he has not taken the paternity test. Don gets upset when Phor tells him he doesn’t understand his point of view and storms out.

Meanwhile, in Lousiana, Charmaine’s dad, Mike, is going through it, hell he just lost his wife suddenly, so it’s totally understandable. Charmaine and Neek are worried about him because they are not used to seeing him in the state he is. Mike walks into the kitchen, and the pain from losing Glenda is written on all over his face.

Charmaine and Neek console him.

We catch up with the 2nd City Ink crew, and they finally arrived at the house in New Orleans. They are greeted by Ryan, he reveals that the reason Don and Phor didn’t come because they didn’t feel like they were welcomed. Ryan thanks them for coming and tells them Charmaine is going to need all of their support.

It’s time for Glenda’s going home service, and a lot of people show up to say goodbye, including Miss Kitty, and old Black Ink Crew Chi cast member Kat. After some beautiful words from Charmaine to her mom, everyone hangs out in front of the church.

Ryan introduces Kitty to Jess, who immediately asks Kitty how does she know Charmaine? Kitty tells her she has known her for a long time and that she did Glenda’s makeup. Jess is shocked that Kitty was able to carry out such a task.

Another special moment takes place with Charmaine, Ryan, Danielle reflecting on their long history and the fact Kat even showed up. Charmaine revealed the real reason why Don and Phor were not at the funeral due to them still not being on good terms. Ryan and Kat, on the other hand, seem to have gotten past any issues they had with each other.

Speaking of Ryan, his “relationship” with Miss Kitty becomes the topic of discussion at Charmaine’s mother’s funeral of all places. Charmaine thanks Kitty for the exceptional job she did on her mom’s makeup, and during the conversation, she brings up the rumors of Kitty and Ryan possibly hooking up. Miss Kitty playfully makes it seem like she and Ryan are just friends while hinting there could be something more. Ryan, on the other hand, doesn’t have no qualms by egging us on and suggesting they are indeed smashing.

Things got interesting when Charmaine offers Kitty a job at 2nd City Ink. That suggestion doesn’t sit well with Jess, who feels as co-owner Charmaine should have that conversation with her, and she doesn’t care to be making up job positions. It looks like we got some new drama brewing.

The episode closes with Charmaine closing out the funeral with a second line and the releasing of doves. A touching tribute to her mother.

#LHHNY: Cyn Confronts Her Ex-Girlfriend Erica Mena About Her Ex-Boyfriend Joe Budden & More Moments

LHHNY Season 10 Super Trailer

Source: VH1

We got a break this week from the tired Chrissy, Yandy and Kimbella situation in exchange for the mess that is equally mind-numbing involving Cyn Santana and her exes, Joe Budden and Erica Mena. Of course, there was a sprinkle of other drama pertaining to newcomers Jennakse, PHresher, and his long-time girlfriend, Jen The Groupie Slayer.
The episode opens up with Jennaske in the studio cause you know Love & Hip Hop loves a good scene in someone’s music studio with cast members laying down absolutely nothing in the booth. Anyway, with her potential “manager” looking on, Jennaske does something musically. After she is done, Jennaske and Rich have a conversation about the big blowup between herself and PHresher’s girlfriend of forever, Jen. Rich tells Jennaske the whole scene was very unprofessional, and she wonders if she needs to have a conversation with PHresher about ending whatever working relationship they had.

Conveniently right at that moment, PHresher walks in on the conversation. Things go left immediately when PHresher suggests that Jennaske wasn’t acting very “ladylike” that night at her event. Jennaske fires back and tells him that he needs to keep his lady in check. Where is the lie?

Speaking of Jen, The Groupie Slayer (we still can’t believe this is a thing), things are not all good at home for PHresher at all. We learn from the “Wait A Minute” rapper that he has been sleeping at his momma’s house following the big blow up at the event. When he arrives home, Jen is busy putting all his clothing in boxes cause he is clearly not welcome there anymore, for the moment. Jen feels PHresher failed to back her up that night and made her look stupid by pushing her out of the venue for being upset because she thought her man was getting too close with Jennaske. PHresher apparently had a few issues being faithful in their relationship (no surprise), so, of course, Jen is very suspicious of the rapper when he is around other women.

Flashing back to Jennaske, Rich is busting his ass this season to see to it that she makes it in the rap game, and he becomes her manager. The duo arrives at Hot 97 to visit DJ Kay Slay for an appearance on his radio show. After Jennaske spits a “freestyle” that impresses both Dollaz and the Drama King, Rich points out all the things he has successfully done for her and feels Jennaske should make it business between them exclusive. We all know where this “working relationship” will end up going, but whatever. You can rate the bars yourself.

Now to the meat and potatoes of this episode. Jonathan’s job this season is clearly to stir the pot any chance he gets. During a conversation with himself, JuJu and Cyn, he reveals that Santana’s ex, Erica Mena is playing cupid, trying to hook up her other ex and the father of her son, Joe Budden, with his ex-girlfriend Tahiry. Yeah, that was a lot, right? Anyway, Cyn does state she is not concerned about Joe’s love life BUT thinks it is incredibly messy that Erica is trying to hook him up with Tahiry given their well-documented history.

Well, that discussion leads to another studio scene this time involving Joe and Cyn. They have a brief conversation about Erica trying to hook him up with Tahiry. Now, while Cyn is a bit turned up about the situation, Joe is once again very calm. In his signature monotone voice, that probably bothers the hell out of Cyn, he pretty much shrugs everything off as not that big of a deal because nothing is going on.

You would think the situation would end there, right? WRONG. Jonathan and Cyn link up with Erica to have a discussion about the matter. Of course, this doesn’t go well because Erica feels she has done nothing wrong and claims she is team Tahiry and Joe because she sees something is still there, and it has nothing to do with her and Cyn’s past. Cyn doesn’t believe that and frustratingly leaves the room after Erica dismisses her “crocodile tears” while on the phone with her sister.

Yeah, that was a waste of time.

Other moments include the ridiculous back and forth between Erica and Safaree about inviting Yandy to their rushed wedding.

After being very adamant that he did not formally invite Yandy to the wedding, he eventually takes responsibility after a conversation with Tahiry and apologizes to Erica and proposes to her again, this time with a watch. Remy Ma and Papoose’s Black love is tested because Remy wants to get back to work, but she just doesn’t have the time thanks to motherhood. After a discussion and a slight disagreement, the loving couple comes to an agreement.

#LHHNY: Old Beefs Are Still Sizzling & Closed Wounds Are Re-Opened On The Season 10 Premiere

'Love & Hip Hop: New York' Returns With 2-Hour Season Premiere

Source: VH1

For season 10 of Love & Hip Hop: New York, Mona Scott-Young decided to bring back some OG’s and kick all of those unwanted newcomers to curb to restore the feeling the show brought in its inaugural season. It looks like she was absolutely right to do so because the 2-hour season premiere put us on a collision course with tons of drama expeditiously.

Chrissy Lampkin is back in town and, she is looking to repair the image she left with after dragging or, as Kimbella described it during the episode, “blindsided her” for being messy at the time. Lampkin also tries to squash her ancient beef with now Yandy Smith-Harris, who used to be her forever fiancé, Jim Jones’ manager. The conversation with Yandy goes nowhere quickly with Smith after she shuts down Chrissy for suggesting that she bring the “old Yandy back.”

BUT Chrissy does find a way to bury the hatchet with Kimbella, and the two found some common ground in the fact that they both hate Yandy. Kimbella still can’t stand Yandy even after the two bonded over the fact they both have husbands in jail. Kimbella now has a partner in crime to take Yandy on seemingly hinting that these two will both be a thorn in Yandy’s side. Yandy gets a glimpse of Kimbella’s new energy during a meetup when Smith reads a Bossip story that detailed Chrissy and Jim Jones losing their house to foreclosure. Kimbella calls Yandy messy for reading the story that Cyn pointed out existed. Make it, make sense, please. Kimbella is back to her old theatrics and has a new battery in her back now that Chrissy has teamed up with her.

Speaking of that situation, Chrissy was seemingly blindsided by the news that Jimmy dropped the ball with the mansion she hasn’t lived in for years. He blamed the fact that he didn’t have no one to help handle the financial side of things, basically what Yandy was doing and what Chrissy hates her for. To make matters worse, Chrissy started this all-women investment group called the “Lady Millionaires Club.” The premise of the group is that they put their money together and buy property to flip it. Ironically it’s not a good look that Chrissy is out handing out business advice and buying homes, but at the same damn time, she letting a mansion be seized under her watch and being sold reportedly for only $100.

Lampkin later meets up with her business partner Greg “Big Bizness” Parker, a real estate investor, who bought into Lampkins’s idea. He tells her to get her ish together and fix the situation, or she is going to wind up owing him a lot of money. Lampkin, after getting threatened by Parker, lights a fire under Jim, wishing she could slap him through the phone. He is currently in Los Angeles and is strangely calm for someone whos crib just got taken away from them.

Moving on, we catch up with one Joe Budden, who is now single and trying to co-parent with the ex-fianceé, Cyn Santana. Santana decided she had enough with the rapper/podcaster after she went through his phone and saw something she didn’t like. Done with Joe’s cheating ways, she packed her stuff and took their adorable son and moved out of the home the former couple shared together while he was on tour.

All of this information comes out during a conversation between the two that goes south when Joe, while sitting Indian-style in his very monotone voice, calmly denies that he cheated and spins the situation to Cyn’s disliking. She storms off, putting it out there that their relationship messed up beyond repair at this point.

To make matters worse for the couple, Joe’s ex, the lovely and still ridiculously thick Tahiry Jose is back in town. Now she is still over the “Pump It Up” rapper and doesn’t really see a path to a relationship with him again, but Erica Mena, for whatever reason, is on a mission to somehow hook them back up. This shall get messy once Cyn finds out what is going on cause the young firecracker likes to get spicy.

We already know what kind of energy Joe is on because, during a conversation between himself, Rich Dollaz, and Papoose, the leader of the “Black Love” movement tried to put him on the right path. Of course, the advice went in one ear and out the other with Joe sticking to his old ways.

Speaking of Erica Mena, she now has a gut full of the pop-locking, sex toy making reality star, Safaree Samuels’ man juice. We quickly learn the couple is working on getting everything for their VH1-funded wedding in order, which is going down in three weeks. Good luck with that. The couple is delighted t tie the knot. Before that happens, some issues still looming are going to have to deal with before they say I do. The big elephant in the room is Erica’s exes, Rich Dollaz and Cyn Santana being around. Safaree isn’t going to have to worry about his Cyn trying to make a play for his soon-to-wife, Mena is gonna have to worry about Cyn checking her for trying to hook Joe back up with Tahiry which will cause friction between Joe’s exes.

Safaree, on the other hand, will have to address Rich Dollaz due to the highly-publicized relationship he used to have with Mena. If you remember Safaree and Rich almost came to blows over Samuels secretly dealing with Mena. Rich Dollaz decides its time to move on bury the hatchet apologizing to both Safaree and Erica at Remy Ma’s off of parole party. Safaree accepted Rich’s gracious move, but Erica Mena could care less about the olive branch Dollaz extended.

Also, when Tahiry suggests Erica consider getting a prenuptial agreement and she brings up to the lawyer, Safaree is not happy that she went there without consulting with him first.

Last but not least, we catch up the Remy Ma and Papoose, who is still going strong and extremely happy. Remy is very stressed, though, as she is trying to juggle being a new mother again with her heavy workload. Remy is feeling overwhelmed and unappreciated while Papoose really isn’t helping, which is strange on his part, being that he was the one pushing for Remy to have a kid. The couple has a rare argument about the situation, but it doesn’t get too heated. Looks like Remy wanting to get back on top of the rap game, while co-hosting a show and being a mom will be the biggest test the married couple has faced since her release from prison.

This was only the first two episodes, we still haven’t met the other cast members. LHHNY OG Olivia Longott, who still has issues to fix with her former manager Rich Dollaz returns next week. Newcomers to the reality tv franchise, Phresher, and Jennaske, arrive as well. You can peep all of the reactions to the 2-hour season premiere below.

#BlackInkCrew: Mike Is Not The Father, Teddy Returns & The Crew Hits The Parkway In Brooklyn

Mike From Black Ink Crew

Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz

Last week on Black Ink Crew, the death of his best friend Corey still haunts him, giving him second thoughts about opening the shop in Brooklyn. After some dramatic soul searching and talking to Corey’s mom, he decided that it would be best that he went through with the shop’s opening.

The episode opens up with Donna giving an update to Sky about her lousy advice to surprise Alex in a wedding dress. Sky, of course, doesn’t think her idea was terrible because this is Sky we are talking about. The topic quickly shifts to Brooklyn shop and whether or not Ceaser should move forward with it. Speaking him into existence, their boss walks in, and he is much better spirited than he was last week. He breaks the news that he is going to open the shop and revealing to his employees, talking to Corey’s mom put a lot of things into perspective for him.

But with him debating about opening the shop, the window to get Black Ink Brooklyn open got smaller giving them only 6 days to knock out the construction and get everything done. He tells them it will be all hands on deck to accomplish this goal and tells everyone to clear their schedules and get a costume for the West Indian Parade. He also announced that he is renting a house for Brooklyn where everyone can to stay so that they are close to the new shop and West Indian Day festivities.

After Walt’s sweet move last week and coming to grips that he won’t be able to shoot up Jess’ club, the couple is happy again. Jess has already met his two kids, so now it’s his turn to meet her son, Xavier.  Walt doesn’t know that Jess and Xavier are playing a prank on him during the meeting. Walt and Xavier decide to talk over a game of basketball with Jess’ teen deciding to issue a wager to his potential stepdad. If he wins, he will determine if Walt can continue to date his mom if Walt wins, he can date Jess with or without Xavier’s blessings.

Unfortunately, Walt loses by a point, but Xavier reveals it was just a prank, and that budding comedian can continue court his mom.

When they arrive at the Brooklyn shop, Ceaser is surprised to see Teddy is back. He’s been missing in action, with many believing he was somewhere laid up with the new employee Paris and just off the radar. Puma walks in, and Teddy gives him the cold shoulder before he gets up and tells both Cease and Puma he wants to talk them outside. He reveals that he was just overprotective of Ceaser and that his brother is having issues in jail. Teddy tells his cousin and Puma that his brother got into a fight with a corrections officer. To make matter’s worse, his mom is sick. Ted claims he been stressed out over the issues and just needed some space.

Puma and Cease put their hard feelings aside for Ted and tell him they are here for him and are willing to help in any way possible.

With that out of the way, it’s time to focus back on the shop. Everyone has finally arrived at the house. They only have four days now to get the shop together for the opening and to get ready for the West Indian Day festivities. On the first night, they head to a party where Ceaser gives a speech to announce the opening of his shop in BK and offers free tattoos to everyone there. He is greeted by congresswoman Yvette Clarke, and she gives the tattoo shop mogul a congressional award.

Mike, Sky, and Q are on the hunt for costumes for the West Indian Parade. While trying on Parade drip, Mike gets a text from his roommate informing him that his paternity test results are in. For whatever reason, Sky is more excited about the news than Mike.

Meanwhile, Donna is talking Bae about her relationship problems. She tells Bae that Alex has not spoken to her since her wedding stunt and understandably so. Bae tells her she shouldn’t rush and that she wishes she took her time with her now ex-husband Rob.

Before J’Ouvert festivities begin, Quani talks to Puma because she is worried. She tells her husband to be careful due to past incidents that went down at the festival.

We catch back up with Mike, both he and Sky head back to his home to see the paternity test results. He opens the envelope to learn that he is not the boy’s father. Sky is happy at the news, but Mike is clearly disappointed because he was kinda hoping that he was going to be a dad.

Finally, J’Ouvert begins, and everyone is having a blast throwing paint on each other.

In typical Black Ink fashion, something happens to add some drama, but it only turns out to be a bunch of rowdy teenagers. After they get the all-clear signal, Mike says he can’t breathe and collapses. We quickly learn that he was suffering a panic attack.

After chilling for a bit and his boss Ceaser dousing him with water, he starts to feel better, and they head back to the house to change into their costumes. They finally make it to the parkway to partake in the actual West Indian Day Parade. Thankfully nothing happens, and the crew finally gets to enjoy themselves again.

#BlackInkCrew: Donna Does Another Struggle Tattoo, Puma Fires The Newbies & More

Puma Black Ink Crew

Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz

Last week’s episode ended with Ceaser getting pulled over, which subsequently lead to his arrest and him reaching out to his daughter’s mother for help. This week’s episode picks right up with the Ceaser’s employees finding out about him being arrested through the “blogs.”

Ceaser walks in the shop visibly upset that he was thrown in jail. He explains that he was pulled over for running a red light. When asked by the police officer to produce his driver’s license, Ceaser told the officer that it wasn’t on him. Why he is driving without one is beyond us. Anyway, the story gets even more ridiculous when Ceaser claims his arrest stems from them finding out he is Ceaser from Black Ink after a fan recognizes him. Plus during a search, the cops discovered his brother’s temporary ID and mistook it for a fake one. After they ran his name, they also saw he has two outstanding warrants for unpaid traffic tickets. He is now worried that his recent run-in with the law could make things difficult when it comes to opening his shop in Brooklyn.

Meanwhile, Donna is trying to get her groove back in the bedroom and receives good news from Alex. The doctor tells injured tattoo artist that he can resume moderate exercise and activities. Donna takes that as the couple can have the kinky sex, they are used too, and she breaks out a chart with 20 different sex positions on it. Alex, still clearly nervous, makes a deal with his horny ass girlfriend and promises to do one sexual position a day. Donna drags Alex into the bedroom to feed her insatiable needs.

Ceaser heads to court to face the judge and gets some good news. The judge tells him that he will not be charged and makes him pay a fine. Puma was on hand for moral support, but Teddy’s absence bothers the tattoo shop mogul. Even though he managed to walk out of the situation with a slap on the wrist, he is still worried his arrest will complicate things and cause the city council to have second thoughts about opening the shop in Brooklyn.

In Sky news, she has had enough with the drama in NYC and took her act back to Miami. She wants to get her pooch, Bagel, into modeling and sets up an audition. During the shoot, the dog was a direct reflection of its master. Bagel didn’t listen to any of the commands issued. When the woman conducting the audition told Sky that Bagel wasn’t ready, Sky storms off with the dog.

Back in NYC, Donna and Alex return to the restaurant where the infamous bathroom stall sex tape originated from. After a few drinks, they decide to make that happen again without someone recording them.

After their voyeuristic sexcapade, they quickly leave the restaurant to and get into an argument. Donna wants Alex to propose to her, but he feels they have been acting like a married couple, so he doesn’t see the need for official paperwork. Donna gives him a 2-month deadline to make it happen and then storms off. Hood love is definitely something else.

We haven’t really been seeing much of bae since she and Rob’s relationship fell apart. The single mother storms into the shop and pulls Donna to the side to tell her some devastating news. Bae reveals that she was pregnant and had no idea and suffered a miscarriage. Bae breaks down to Donna that she told Rob about the sad developments, but he didn’t care. He also said to her that he didn’t want to “stop living” his life to get back with Bae. After telling Donna her story, she breaks down, and Donna reassures her that she is not alone and that she has a family at the shop who got her back and will her get through this situation.

Donna is still fuming over Alex and decides the only way to take her mind off him not wanting to marry her is to do some work. A client of hers named Beyonte, we are not making this up, walks in, and is ready to get her tat done by Donna. Now why anyway wants a tattoo done by Donna is beyond us, it’s almost like they haven’t seen the other abominations she has done. Well, Donna free hands this Beyonte’s tattoo, she requested the word “perseverance” across her back instead, Donna permanently tattoos “perserverance” on the woman’s back.

Bruh!

Ceaser and Puma meet with the Brooklyn council about throwing a block party for the grand opening of Black Ink Brooklyn. The idea gets shut down immediately due to the fact the West Indian Day Parade will shut down Fulton Street, plus the park closes at sunset. But all is not lost because they do give Ceaser permission to have a party in the shop, but it can’t be rowdy.

Checkin back in Bae, she FaceTime’s her mom to tell her about the miscarriage. She really wants Momma Bae to come back stateside to help her deal with the situation. Her mom tells her she will try to make an attempt to get back to NYC to be with her.

Back at the shop, they decided to throw a handcuff and Hennessy party to help raise money for Tati’s legal fees. How much are these people getting paid? The party is going perfectly fine until Q and Mike start arguing about something causing Puma to investigate. The two new cast members decide to take their discussion outside, but Krystal starts barking at them about how she thought they were her friends. Puma has heard enough and fires all three of them in a hilarious tantrum. The episode ends on that “cliff hanger.”
