Disney+’s hit series The Mandalorian is probably the lone reason Star Wars fans are still sticking around after that disaster that was the latest trilogy, and with season 2 already underway, Disney+ is continuing to bank off it’s latest hot property.

According to Hypebeast, Disney+ has announced that it will be releasing an eight-part docu-series which documents the making of the breakout Star Wars spinoff and will feature executive producer Jon Favreau taking viewers on a behind-the-scenes tour of the set. Sitting down with the cast and crew of The Mandalorian, the new series will also bless fans with some unreleased footage which will show what could’ve been, but wasn’t.

“Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian is an opportunity for fans of the show to take a look inside and get to see a different perspective, and perhaps a greater understanding, of how The Mandalorian came together and some of the incredibly talented contributors throughout Season 1,” said Favreau. “We had a great experience making the show and we’re looking forward to sharing it with you.”

From going into the new series to taking it back and examining the legacy that George Lucas left with the original trilogies, the new docu-series is sure to be a hit for the hardcore Star Wars fans who still love the franchise regardless of what’s happened on the silver screen the last few years.

The first episode is set to drop on May 4th and then releasing a new one every Friday for the next few weeks.

Will y’all be tuning into Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian? Lets us know in the comments.

Rosario Dawson Cast To Play Ahsoka Tano In ‘The Mandalorian’

The Kelly Clarkson Show - Season 1

New Jersey Senator Cory Booker may not be in the race for the White House anymore, but at least his wifey, Rosario Dawson continues to flourish in her field as the OG actress from New York has just been cast to play a fan favorite character from the Star Wars universe.

Variety is reporting that the Sin City actress has been chosen to portray the live-action version of the lightsaber-wielding Ahsoka Tano, in the upcoming second season of Disney+’s smash hit Star Wars spinoff series The Mandalorian. After spending several years in animated form on Star Wars: The Clone Wars series, Tano will finally be making her live-action debut co-starring next to interplanetary gunfighter who introduced us to Baby Yoda (he’s not Yoda though).

Variety has confirmed. Tano is Anakin Skywalker’s apprentice and one of the central characters in the popular animated “Star Wars” series. This will mark the character’s first live-action appearance, after being voiced by Ashley Eckstein on all seven seasons of “Clone Wars,” the final season of which is currently airing on Disney Plus.

Yeah, that next season of The Mandalorian is gonna be all kinds of lit.

Though the second season of The Mandalorian was slated to hit Disney’s streaming service this coming fall, the coronavirus outbreak has halted production all across the board, so no word on whether or not that’s still going to be the case.

Still, at least we have something to look forward to once life goes back to normal… whenever that may be.

While we still wait for Baby Yoda toys to hit the shelves, we are getting some drip from the BAPE in the form of t-shirts featuring popular characters from the Disney+ show The Mandalorian.

The iconic streetwear brand announced a new capsule collection in collaboration with Lucasfilms that pays tribute to the hit Star Wars original show, The Mandalorian. The t-shirts will not only feature the brand’s famous mascot Baby Milo but The Child (Baby Yoda) and the series titular character and reluctant hero, The Mandalorian drawn in Bape’s popular style as well as Star Wars branding.

The collection which arrives on Saturday (Feb.29) consists of three T-shirts that all come in either black or white. They reportedly will cost $75 each, but on BAPE’s website, the price is listed at $115. We expect this collection to sell out rather quickly, so you better be on top of your game and hit up the select BAPE locations and BAPE.com to secure your t-shirt at a retail price.

This latest collection is part of a long line of collaborations the streetwear brand has released. Earlier this month, the company announced a capsule collection with Pusha T as well as Reggaeton star, J Balvin. Back in 2019, BAPE teamed up with Detroit rapper, Big Sean for his own capsule collection as well.
