Rap star Ski Mask The Slump God is in his feels. It’s been four months since the death of Juice WRLD and almost two years since the murder of close friend XXXTentacion, and it hasn’t gotten any easier to deal with.
Ski shared a heartbreaking tweet saying it should’ve been him passing away rather than his two friends.

Both X and Juice’s memory will live on forever. The latter’s girlfriend Ally Lotti recently went online to share some major details of an upcoming posthumous album. Lotti revealed the title of his project will be titled The Outsiders and told fans it’s not going to be easy to hear his voice again.
“When I broke this down, at first I was like, we’re putting out exactly what Jarad wanted to come out right now. Remember, we were talking about The Outsiders and all this stuff, that actual album, no one’s ready for it. I’m not ready for it. And I promise you, you are not ready for it.”
Last week, she went live to share a slew of stories and memories with her late partner, and clarified she always wanted him for him and didn’t care about his wealth. Lotti also revealed she had Juice’s lawyers write up a document saying she didn’t want any of his money or property while alive.
“So, I just had to come on here. I even have a part of it on video, of the lights coming on and the computer, literally stopped recording. I’m just thrown and like I have so much to do tonight and get done for Jarad that it’s so crazy that it just happened. It gave me this, ‘you’re here with me, we’re doing this together’ because I really need him right now and it was just such a crazy sign. I know J’s with me. I’m so thankful. I know he’s always with me, but when he shows me signs it really just gives me the motivation. I’m so blessed and thankful for that right now. So blessed. I just want to make you guys so proud. I don’t know if you guys know, but I have nothing to do with—when I first got with Jarad, I didn’t want anyone to think I was with him for his money. I had my own money. I have my own money. I did not need Jarad for that. I wanted Jarad for Jarad. I just want our memories, I want our story,” Ally stated through tears. “I just want our music and the music that he made for me. That he wants you guys to hear. And that’s what I’m putting myself into. Not for anything else. I get nothing out of this, just so you guys know, and I don’t want anything out of this… Literally that’s it.”
X was recently featured on Lil Wayne‘s newest project since 2018, Funeral.
Lil Wayne’s latest studio album Funeral is out now, via Young Money/Republic. The album features Big Sean, 2 Chainz, Lil Baby, Jay Rock, the-Dream, Adam Levine, the late XXXTentacion, Lil Twist, O.T. Rolling Loud fans in Hong Kong will have to wait a little longer for the epic festival to take place.
According to published reports, festival organizers are canceling the upcoming events in West Kowloon due to anti-government protests and safety concerns. Organizers took to Facebook to announce that they came to the decision after consulting with “security experts” who advised against proceeding.
“We are saddened to announce that Rolling Loud Hong Kong, which was scheduled to occur on October 19th and 20th at Art Park, West Kowloon Cultural District, is being canceled,” organizers wrote. “After consulting with security experts, it has been determined that it is not possible to organize the upcoming Rolling Loud Hong Kong edition as we had hoped without endangering the safety and well-being of our fans, artist, and staff. While we regret having to cancel the festival, this is not a decision that has been taken lightly and we look forward to bringing the Rolling Loud festival experience to Hong Kong in the future to celebrate the city’s rich culture and buzzing Hip Hop scene.”
The Protests in Hong Kong were sparked by a since-withdrawn extradition bill, which raised concerns about fugitives facing unfair trials in China. The controversial bill was introduced after a Hong Kong citizen confessed to murdering his pregnant wife while on vacation in Taiwan. Due to the crime being committed in Taiwan, Hong Kong was unable to charge the man with murder which led to officials introducing the controversial bill in order to extradite the man to face charges.
Protesters are against opening Hong Kong to extradition to counteract the increased interest in Hong Kong becoming a part of the Communist Party of China, who has actively been taking an interest in the small country since Hong Kong’s separation from Brittain in 1997. Protesters are hoping that the conflict will instead make Hong Kong full democracy.
The two-day festival was slated to have performances by The Migos, Wiz Khalifa, Playboi Carti, and Ski Mask the Slump God, has yet to have a rescheduled date but the cancellation announcement did direct fans on what to expect in regards to a refund.

Wifisfuneral railed against the Hip-Hop collective “Members Only” in a new interview on Monday. Wifi sat down with Boom 103.9’s Weso in Philadelphia to discuss the current relationship with his former crew and his confusion with a statement made in an interview.
“Them boys be acting like I’m not in Members Only…” the Genesis rapper told Weso. “It’s like whatever… everybody knows what the truth is, the fans know what the truth is… They know I was in Members Only too so the fact that they would even come out and say that… I think the whole situation is goofy.”
Wifi claims he was a part of the group from 2015 to 2017 when he left but adds that there was always love there. The rapper even has a ‘Members Only’ tattoo he reveals in the interview with Weso.
The interview that Wifi was addressing was with Real 92.3’s Bootleg Kev and DJ Hed in Los Angeles. When asked if Wifi was ever part of the group, Members Only rapper Kid Trunks denied that Wifi was ever a part of the expansive fleet of artists primarily based in South Florida.
“He wasn’t a part of Members Only but he was around us,” Trunks told Bootleg Kev. As a defense, Wifisfuneral’s response came with dates that he was a part of the group.
Members Only got their fame with Ski Mask The Slump God and XXXTentacion as the lead artists the latter of whom is featured posthumously on the new LP XXXTENTACION Presents: Members Only, Vol. 4 ,which released late January.
The 21-year-old rapper’s falling out with the Broward County-based group isn’t clear, although it is said that Members Only as a whole had a bit of a falling out during the time that XXXTentacion was in and out of court fighting multiple charges one of which involved an alleged assault.
At one point, frequent X collaborator Ski Mask The Slump God said he and the now deceased lyricist were no longer friends due to uncomfortable communication that occurred between the two.
Ski and X eventually reunited at Rolling Loud in Miami last year before X’s untimely death a month later. Members Only vol. 4 was released on January 23rd as an homage to XXXtentacion who would’ve been celebrating his 21st birthday.
