Tony Yayo Talks G-Unit and 50 Cent Not Liking "Many Men" on 'Drink Champs'

Tony Yayo’s podcast tour is continuing. In an upcoming episode of Drink Champs, the G-Unit soldier revealed 50 Cent was not a fan of the song “Many Men” at first. Additional topics in the episode include the downfall of G-Unit, working alongside rappers, being wrapped up in 50 Cent’s many beefs, and more.

Previously, PistolPete linked up with G-Unit lieutenant Tony Yayo in the streets of NYC, giving props to each other— gangster to gangster.

With the rest of the G-Unit soldiers sporting TS baseball caps, Yayo recounts the 2006 beef with the BX-based crew headed by Fat Joe.

“Yo, the realest beef was with Terror Squad,” Tony Yayo said. “He was a real n-gga, I gotta give it up. The realest beef was with Fat Joe and them. We outside.” Pistol Pete resplied, Tony Yayo, we fuck with you, though. We out here in the trenches, n-gga. We out here, fuck all that. We out here together, n-gga, a bunch of real n-ggas.”

50 Cent to Launch New ‘Sex And Murder’ Series

Rap superstar and mogul 50 Cent is always on brand and is on social media or promoting his various ventures. Now the “In The Club” rapper has plans to bring another series to the small screen. 50 took to Instagram to announce his latest television series will be based on the life of New York street gang leader Peter “Pistol Pete” Rocklin.

“Oscar award winning producer @nicolerocklin partners with ya Boy 50 to create the hit T.V show Sex Money Murder ( The Pistol Pete story) #lecheminduroi #bransoncognac # I get the 💰 bag,” he wrote.

The upcoming series will reportedly feature insight from investigative journalist Jonathan Green’s Sex Money Murder: A Story of Crack, Blood and Betrayal book.

Sex Money Murder, a Blood’s gang sect, was created in New Jersey and branched off into the Bronx, New York, with Pistol Pete as the leader of the conglomerate. In 2000, Pistol Pete was sentenced to life in prison without parole after he was charged with seven murders.

For quite some time, 50 Cent has had a fascination with Pistol Pete and his story. 50 has referenced the gang on his Guess Who’s Back mixtape on the song “F**k You.” 50 Cent rapped, “Sex, money, murder, I gotta eat/ but I ain’t tryna do hard time like Pistol Pete.”

50 Cent is in the process of bringing more street influenced content to the small screen, a subject matter that he allegedly knows pretty well. The rapper’s series Power has been picked up for a sixth season. An executive producer on the series, he released a teaser for a prequel to the STARZ series entitled, TGE (The Golden Era).

He’s also been busy casting roles for a new series about Atlanta’s infamous Black Mafia Family gang that has been greenlit for production.
