The first installment of Kanye West’s “jeen-yuhs: A Kanye Trilogy” Netflix documentary is here.

Act One of this three-part series titled, “Vision,” dropped Wednesday and gave viewers an inside look at the rise of Kanye West.

In the first episode, we see how the “All Falls Down” rapper got his start in the music business, making beats for Hip Hop giants. Cameras captured West and Pharrell’s first time meeting in 2002.

Almost all of the footage in Act One was filmed nearly 20 years ago, before Kanye West evolved into “Ye” or had beef with Drake, which they resolved last winter.

It also gave viewers an intimate look at The College Dropout‘s relationship with his late mother, Donda and his upbringing in Chicago. There’s a scene where Kanye visits his mom and she immediately knows how he feels and uplifts and reinvigorates his drive.

So far Donda West is showing to be the true star of this documentary.

“Act Two: Purpose,” premieres Wednesday, February 23 on Netflix. While “Act Three: Awakening,” is slated to air Wednesday, March 2.

“jeen-yuhs,” directed by Coodie and Chike, is “an intimate and revealing portrait of Kanye West’s experience, showcasing both his formative days trying to break through and his life today as a global brand and artist.”

Kanye West taps into his production bag of soulful samples for his latest track. On Sunday, July 13, West celebrated what would’ve been his late mother’s 71st birthday. Ye took to Twitter to reveal the track that begins with his mother quoting KRS-One’s “Sounds of da Police.”

The Yeezy CEO starts his verse after 90 seconds into the track. The song’s soulful production brings nostalgia to any Kanye West fan.

“Mama I need you to tuck me in, I done made some mistakes and they rubbed it in,” Ye raps in the song.

Dr. Donda West was her son’s number one fan and biggest supporter. She served as a professor and Chair of the Department of English and Speech at Chicago State University for a number of years before her untimely passing.

Kim Kardashian-West posted a previous video of Kanye singing 2005 song “Hey Mama” with Donda West in honor of her late mother-in-law.

Kanye West Opens Up his Mother on David Letterman’s Netflix Special: ‘This Would’ve Been the Funnest Time of her Life’

Kanye West is the next guest on David Letterman’s Netflix special, My Next Guest Needs No Introduction.

Kim Kardashian tweeted a preview of the upcoming episode. “Kanye opens up to David Letterman like you’ve never seen him on My Next Guest, streaming on @Netflix May 31,” she wrote.

“This would have been the funnest time of her life, to have those kids running around that house,” West says as his wife watches from the audience.

“I remember my mother bought me a bear that was multicolored, and I was very into [Japanese contemporary artist] Takashi Murakami at that time on that third album, Graduation,” West recalls. “She said it kind of, you know, feels like Takashi Murakami. And then I was sort of like, ‘I don’t want that, that ain’t no Takashi Murakami bear, and stuff like that.

“And then she passed…a few weeks after,” he continues, “and I did everything I could to find that bear and place that bear on top of all the Takashi Murakami stuff I had in the house.”

Season 2 of My Next Guest Needs No Introduction premieres on Netflix May 31.

Yesterday, footage went viral of Kanye and his son Saint taking the mound.

The rapper, wearing a White Sox jersey, came out on the Guaranteed Rate Field diamond with Saint on his shoulders as the stadium’s speakers blared his 2007 track “Homecoming.” After removing Saint – who also tossed a ball from the pitchers’ mound – from his shoulders, West sent his first pitch in the vicinity of the waiting catcher, but the baseball fell short of reaching home plate. Kanye also went to his Instagram page to share a pic from the epic moment.
