R. Kelly’s Sex Trafficking Trial Pushed Back To August

According to several confirmed reports, disgraced R&B crooner R. Kelly’s racketeering and sex crimes trial has been pushed back to August 18th at the request of his legal team.

Kells appeared in front of District Judge Ann Donnelly on Thursday, the judge who is overseeing the Brooklyn federal case, stated that jury selection would begin on August 9. Even though Donnelly granted Kelly an extension before his trial, she denied his request for a bond, noting that he is a danger to the community and a flight risk.

In September, Kelly will face the charges in Chicago where he faces multiple sex abuse-related counts, including allegedly conspiring to rig his child pornography trial in 2008 by paying off witnesses and victims. Next month in Brooklyn, Kelly faces charges of racketeering, sexual exploitation of a child, bribery, kidnapping, and forced labor.

Former Trump and GOP Aide Charged With Distributing Child Porn

According to a report from The Daily Beast, the former digital specialist who designed social media ads for former President Trump’s 2020 election campaign has been charged with distributing child pornography.

27-year-old Ruben A. Verastigul was arrested on Friday by D.C Metro Police following a child pornography investigation that began in March 2020 until the present. Homeland Security discovered Verastigul while investigating 18 other people who were trading child porn on an unnamed website.

Court docs revealed the digital specialist’s conversation with another user, stating, “Well like I said babies are some of my biggest turn-ons and beast. Young rape… F*** I love all that.”

Citizens For Responsible Energy Solutions, the company that Verastigul worked for since July, stated, “The details of the allegations against Mr. Verastigui are tragic and shocking. He is no longer employed by the organization and we are prepared to fully cooperate with law enforcement requests in this matter to any extent needed.”

Shooter Identified In Deadly FBI Child Porn Raid

The man who allegedly shot and killed two FBI agents in the midst of a child porn raid in South Florida has been identified, according to the FBI.

55-year-old David Huber has been identified as the alleged shooter in the botched raid that left two FBI agents dead and three others wounded. Daniel Alfin and Laura Schwartzenberger were killed on Tuesday when the father of three saw the impending raid through a doorbell cam and opened fire on the agents with an assault rifle.

Huber was believed to be killed after being barricaded in his home.

FBI Director Christopher Wray said in a statement, “The FBI will always honor their ultimate sacrifice and will be forever grateful for their bravery.”
