Bryson Tiller Considering Music Break To Pursue Video Game Design and Be More Present for His Children

Bryson Tiller Hosts Star-Studded Listening Party for Highly Anticipated Album

Time flies. Bryson Tiller has been in the game for almost ten years. But it seems the “Don’t” singer and songwriter may take a break from being an artist as we know him.

As reported by Complex following an exclusive interview, Tiller surprised his fans by saying he wants to pursue the gaming world. He explicitly followed his interest in video game design after releasing his upcoming fourth album, which will drop on April 5.

“This is probably gonna be my last one for a minute,” Tiller said about his first album in nearly four years. “I just wanna take a hiatus ’cause my No. 1 passion is video games. I’ve been designing a game for the past three years,” adding, “I’ve been looking into internships with different companies.”

Outside of his creative pursuits, the Trapsoul artist mentioned he wanted to focus on being a good father and being more present for his children. “After this album comes out, obviously, I’m gonna go out, touch the people, see the world and tour as much as I can,” he said.

“I want to focus on, No. 1, is getting closer to my daughters. My oldest daughter is 10 years old now. I’m tired of telling her I gotta work, or I gotta be in the studio, and then we can hang out.”

Then Tiller shared why video game design so attractive to him. “The thing about game design is super cool ’cause I can do it from anywhere. I could be next to her while she’s gaming. It’s just what I love to do, and it doesn’t feel like work.”

He also continued, “If you love all music then you’ll probably love most of it. I wanted to show where I could go with it if I chose to.” Tiller also said “I really just want this album to be about myself more than anything, so I don’t want to bring too many people in.”

Whether it’s gaming or being a more active father, both are admirable for the already accomplished Bryson Tiller

Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs & King Combs Make History as First Father-Son Duo to Reach No.1 on US Airplay Charts

DIddy King Combs

Sean “Diddy” Combs and his son, Christian “King” Combs, each soared to the top of the charts with their new hit songs “Gotta Move On” featuring Bryson Tiller and “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” featuring Kodak Black, respectively.

Diddy topped both the Billboard Adult R&B Airplay chart and the R&B Airplay Mediabase chart with “Gotta Move On” as Christian dominated the URBAN Airplay Mediabase chart with “Can’t Stop Won’t Stop.”

This is a proud moment for the legendary mogul, whose recent return to music has been met with nothing but love and to experience it alongside his son, Christian, who’s worked hard to forge his own legacy with Bad Boy Entertainment, makes it all the more significant for Diddy.

“Seeing me and my son Christian climb the charts together is a dream come true and I’m so proud of all the hard work to reach No. 1, but this win is much bigger than music,” said Sean “Diddy” Combs. “This milestone is about carrying on the legacy of our family and showing the world that 30 years from now, we’ll still be on top.”

“Locking in my first #1 record is crazy. A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into getting this record to where it is, we’re finally here and we can’t stop now!”, states Christian.

With “Gotta Move On” hitting number 1, this marks 11 number 1 hits total for Diddy and King Combs’ first number 1. The song has 95.8+million streams and the official video directed by Teyana “Spike Tey” Taylor has more than 13 million views on YouTube. Not only is Diddy one of the highest-selling artists in history, he is also one of the most accomplished music producers of all time. LOVE RECORDS represents Combs’ triumphant return to R&B as an Executive Producer, Curator and A&R of his forthcoming album. Combs will continue his oversight on his successful Bad Boy Entertainment label.

“Can’t Stop Won’t Stop” featuring Kodak Black was released in July and has quickly become the unofficial song of the summer. The track has over 14 million views on YouTube and 33 million+ streams. The single was derived from the 1996 Bad Boy classic “Crush on You” by Lil Kim and Lil Cease. This is Christian’s first number 1 smash record.

 Congratulations to the father-son duo!
