Bill Cosby Sued by Nine Women for Sexual Assault and Battery

bill cosby

Bill Cosby is facing another lawsuit, led by Janice Dickinson and Lili Bernard, who stated they were sexually assaulted by the comedian.

According to TMZ, Dickinson and Bernard are two of nine women who state Cosby committed sexual assault and battery to them between the years of 1979 and 1992 in Nevada.

Bernard once acted on The Cosby Show and stated she was supposed to meet with Hollywood producers in Las Vegas. Cosby orchestrated her travel from New York to Nevada, and she state Cosby set up a mentoring session at his hotel. She was then encouraged to take a drink that made her dizzy and disoriented. She states she would later wake up to a naked Cosby and was raped while she cried for help.

Dickinson stated she went to Lake Tahoe with Cosby in 1982. The two went to dinner, and she complained about menstrual cramps. Cosby provided a pill to assist with the pain but ultimately became dizzy and disoriented. Dickinson stated she also was raped after she tried to fight Cosby off.

The women are suffering from emotional distress, embarrassment, and more. They seek damages from Cosby.

In response, Cosby’s rep, Andrew Wyatt, stated to TMZ: “It’s interesting that these ‘Look Back Windows’ are formulating only in those states (New Jersey, New York, Los Angeles and Nevada) where many of Mr. Cosby’s alleged accusers reside. It makes ALL Americans ask the question, ‘Who’s funding these alleged accusers and who’s funding these lawmakers?’ Mr. Cosby is a Citizen of these United States but these judges and lawmakers are consistently allowing these civil suits to flood their dockets—knowing that these women are not fighting for victims—but for their addiction to massive amounts of media attention and greed.

“From this day forward, we will not continue to allow these women to parade various accounts of an alleged allegation against Mr. Cosby anymore without vetting them in the court of public opinion and inside of the courtroom.”

Tekashi 6ix9ine’s Alleged Attackers Released From Jail

According t several reports, the father and son who was allegedly recorded beating and robbing disgraced Brooklyn rapper Tekashi 6ix9ine have been released from jail.

43-year-old Rafael Medina Jr. and his 23-year-old son Octavius Medina have been released on house arrest in Palm County after signing a promissory note with a bail bond company. Rafael was released on a $52K bond while his son was cut loose on a $22K surety bond. Their co-defendant, 25-year-old Anthony Maldonado, signed a $22K surety bond as well, but remans in custody at Palm Beach County’s Main Detention Center, according to court records.

All three were charged with battery and robbery of the “Gummo” rapper and are slated for court appearances next month.

On March 30, Maldonado and the father/son team were arrested on suspicion of assaulting Tekashi, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, inside an LA Fitness gym in Palm Beach County, Florida and recorded the entire ordeal.

Tekashi gave a statement to Palm Beach County Sheriff’s investigators, telling them that his attackers took the key fob to his Lambo, Balenciaga sneakers and an iPhone.

Rumors have circulated that the attack was due to 6ix9ine’s allegiance to Mexico over Puerto Rico in the World Baseball Classic last month, but authorities say that Medina Jr. is a high ranking member of the Latin King, which is an ally to the Bloods gang. Tekashi famously aided federal prosecutors to convict several of his Blood co-defendants of racketeering and violent crimes, resulting in a sentence of jail and house arrest.

As part of the conditions of release from jail, the three defendants signed papers agreeing to obey all laws, not possess weapons, and appear for scheduled court hearings. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s website says its house arrest program allows participants to obtain employment and requires them to wear an ankle monitor.

Law enforcement tells TMZ that cops were called to the scene and told by Slim Jxmmi’s girlfriend-mother of his child that the enraged recording artist kicked down a room door and pulled a hair extension from her scrap while she attempted to move their child to a nearby playpen following an argument over a woman Slim Jxmmi followed on Twitter. The report further alleges that Jxmmi ripped the phone from the girlfriend’s hand and threw it over the balcony to prevent her from posting on social media while she attempted to record the outraged artist. Jxmmi’s girlfriend also told Police that the artist smelled like alcohol during the altercation following a brief exit with a friend during the argument.

Law enforcement retrieved an undamaged cell phone on a nearby street. No word on Slim Jxmmi’s release arrangement at press time. Prior to the arrest, Slim Jxmmi was last seen, publicly, sharing the stage with brother Swae Lee as Rae Sremmurd, performing a set at last year’s Rolling Loud LA.

DaBaby’s Miami Battery Charges Reportedly Dismissed

Remember the Miami promoter who sued DaBaby for allegedly beating him up and robbing him? Well, the battery charges were dismissed. But he’s still being investigated for the alleged robbery of Kenneth Carey.

TMZ reports the charges were dropped after Carey was uncooperative. Carey requested $6 million for damages in his lawsuit.

The North Charlotte rapper has been maintaining his innocence and is confident that he will also win this case.

In addition to the robbery investigation, the civil lawsuit is still ongoing. Carey claims the “Suge” rapper and his entourage pulled down his pants, beat him up, and poured apple juice on him after he refused to pay Baby $10,000. The promoter is suing for breach of contract, battery, defamation, intentional infliction of emotional distress and more.
