Snoop Dogg Associate Bad Azz Dead In Jail At Age 43

One of Uncle Snoop’s closest friends, DPGC affiliate Bad Azz, passed away earlier this week while being held in a Riverside, California jail on domestic violence charges. He was 43 years old.

Bad Azz was apprehended for the charges of domestic assault on Friday and was scheduled to appear for a court hearing on Tuesday.

Bad Azz’s bail was a mere $10K.

Bad Azz had made songs with the likes of MC Eiht, Mistah F.A.B., Bizzy Bone, The Lady of Rage, Ice Cube, Busta Rhymes, Tupac Shakur and of course, DPG members such as the late Nate Dogg, Kurupt, and Daz as well as Snoop himself.

West Coast rappers Snoop Dogg, Daz Dillinger and more are in a world of hurt right now. The rap community has come forward to remember late musician Bad Azz.

Over the past few hours, Snoop, Daz and other prominent California entertainers have reacted to BA’s unexpected death.

A domestic violence charge reportedly had Azz behind bars at the time of his death.

Bad Azz was incarcerated last week (November 8) at the Riverside County Jail for what is believed to be a domestic violence-related incident. His next court date was planned for Wednesday (November 13). Details are pending surrounding the cause of the rapper’s death. (Ambrosia For Heads)

Throughout his career, Bad Azz collaborated with a slew of high-profile musicians.

Although most widely known for his work with Snoop Dogg, Azz also worked with the late Tupac ShakurIce CubeBusta Rhymes, Bizzy Bone, Warren G, Kurupt, MC Eight and Mistah F.A.B. He released his debut solo album ‘Word On Tha Streets’ back in 1998 and was also part of the LBC Crew (Long Beach City Crew). (NME)
