“Power” creator Courtney Kemp isn’t taking any breaks at the start of 2019. The STARZ executive has just leveled up by joining forces with premium network HBO for a new project.

Courtney went to Instagram Monday (February 4) to break the news of her latest venture.

The news has sparked huge co-signs from “Power” executive producer 50 Cent and actor Jerry “Proctor” Ferrara.

According to reports, the series will center on real-life rogue cops in New York City.

The New York City set one-hour drama series from seasoned producer Kemp is based in part on the well known tale of real-life rogue cops that operated out of the NYD’s 30th Precinct in the early 1990s before a slew of corruption investigations and arrests. The real Dirty Thirty cops were engaged in drug dealing, extortion and a lot of strong arming, to put it mildly. (Deadline)

“Power” star Michael Rainey Jr. recently hinted at his signature waves going away.

Last week, Courtney updated fans on the status of season six production.
