Pop Smoke Murdered in Suspected Home Invasion

Pop Smoke was killed in an apparent home invasion robbery, TMZ has reported.

The “Welcome to the Party” star rapper was killed in his Hollywood Hills home around 4:30 am. Reports state two men entered his home in hoodies and masks and fired multiple shots. Pop Smoke was hit and fatally wounded. Law enforcement state the men were seen leaving the scene on foot.

The home was owned by Teddi Mellencamp’s husband, Edwin Arroyave, who owns several homes in the Los Angeles area. According to Fox 11 LA, the home was located near the intersection of Laurel Canyon and Hollywood boulevards and was an Airbnb.

Pop Smoke was pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in West Hollywood. He was 20-years-old.
