Ja Rule Releases New Single “FYRE” to Detail Festival Fiasco

By: Amira Lawson

Ja Rule took to Instagram to release his new track, “For Your Real Entertainment” to address all the negativity surrounding the festival and to put some respeck on his name.

He dropped the song with the caption, “Fyre. New album release date LEAP YEAR!!!! Until then have fun. Rule 12.Twelve.XII. #Icon.” Ja rule knows how to give those old school throwback vibes, as the song samples Doug E Fresh and Slick Rick’s, “The Show.”

“The fest, the festival is on fire/We don’t need no water, make that motherfucker hotter/Hotter than the sun, but it wasn’t that/Show of hands if you got your money back/Just playing, I got sued for that/100 mil to be exact.

“Andy King, you’re on, what the fuck is going?/You about to give this man fellatio for some Avian/Come on, that’s way beyond the job description/That’s an addiction to sucking dick isn’t it, admit it,” he pens, calling out Andy King.

King became a meme once sharing that he nearly had to give fellatio in order to convince Bahamian authorities to release water for attendees of the festival. King reportedly asked producers to cut this scene from the Netflix documentary prior to its release. King shared with documentary makers that he was suggested by Billy McFarland to “take on for the team.”
