Childish Gambino’s Dallas show for his This Is America tour was cut a bit short on Sunday after the star suffered an injury. TMZ reports with about 30 minutes remaining in his set, Gambino exited the stage without explanation but did say “I love you, Texas. I’ll see you soon.”

Attendees at the concert have contrasting statements on what happened to Gambino, some say he was hurt during attempted splits, while others state a misstep during a dance move.

Updates to TMZ reveal that the injury is preexisting and Gambino arrived at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas in a wheelchair with a leg brace. A report from the Dallas show state Gambino has broken his foot.
