Shiggy Says Drake Gave him Advice After he was Exposed on Instagram

Shiggy came through the opening night of the Urbanworld Film Festival for the pre-screening of Kevin Hart’s new film, ‘Night School,’ starring Tiffany Haddish.

The social media comedian came through Two Bees TV and said Drake gave him advice after a girl exposed him sliding in her DMs while he’s in a relationship.

He didn’t give the specifics of what the conversation went like, but he did say Champagne Papi advised him to make sure everything was good at home. Drizzy probably gave sound advice considering that Pusha-T recently exposed his secret child with a porn star.

Logging Out: Co-Founders of Instagram Leaving Company

Instagram Co-Founders Resign From Company

Silicon Valley was rocked yesterday (Sept.24) with the news of Instagram’s co-founders officially stepping down from the popular photo-sharing app.

You can now add Instagram’s Chief Executive Officer Kevin Systrom and Chief Technical Officer Mike Krieger to the growing list of CEOs leaving their companies after Facebook purchased them. The move comes after Bloomberg reported tension between the two men and Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg. Systrom confirmed their exit from Instagram in a statement revealing “we’re planning on leaving Instagram to explore our curiosity and creativity again.”

“Mike and I are grateful for the last eight years at Instagram and six years with the Facebook team. We’ve grown from 13 people to over a thousand with offices around the world, all while building products used and loved by a community of over one billion. We’re now ready for our next chapter.”

Systrom and Krieger join Jan Koum, the founder of the messaging tool WhatsApp who also left the company earlier this year after being acquired by Facebook. Koum made his exit amid concerns about the amount of data the social media platform was collecting from users.

Will be interesting to see the direction Instagram goes with their departures.

Anderson .Paak Flanked By Dr. Dre & Q-Tip In Epic Photo

Anderson .Paak arrives at the 'Jimmy Kimmel Live!' studio

Anderson .Paak is preparing to release his latest album Oxnard to the masses, and he has the powerful cosign of Aftermath Records behind him. In an epic photo, the singer and all-around musical talent posted a photo to Instagram featuring his label boss Dr. Dre and Q-Tip of A Tribe Called Quest in what some might be hoping means a collaborative effort of sorts.

In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, .Paak seemed confident that Oxnard was going to take listeners back to a time where Hip-Hop albums were event moments. Some might know that .Paak began his career as a rapper under the moniker Breezy Lovejoy, and his new record promises a return to his roots. But what is turning heads for many is the photo and what it could mean for the latest project.

In the photo, Q-Tip and Dr. Dre pose serenely behind him with the caption reading, “Take a second to appreciate what’s happening around you..,” but that doesn’t suggest Q-Tip or Dr. Dre hopped on the boards although it’s tough to imagine why they wouldn’t.

In another photo posted to Dr. Dre’s IG page, Tip and the Doc are seen holding the other artist’s respective classic vinyl LPs in their hands in a brotherly show of respect between two of Hip-Hop’s most vital artists.

Perhaps this is a signal that Q-Tip, who has a project coming via G.O.O.D. Music titled The Last Zulu at an undetermined release date, is back on his musical grind too. One can hope.

Kanye West Might Have Just Convinced Twitter CEO To Consider Hiding Followers/Likes

Kanye West Pic

Grammy-winning rapper Kanye West really has some pretty serious pull. The hip-hop veteran has the head of Twitter’s attention following suggestions about possibly hiding followers/likes across social media accounts.

Yeezy went to Instagram – coincidentally – Thursday (September 20) with a screenshot of his convo with Twitter head Jack Dorsey about reconsidering how certain stats are displayed.

Earlier in the day, Kanye jumped on Twitter to suggest followers/likes could ultimately have negative impacts on users.

Back in February, Kanye pulled the plug on his Instagram page and terminated his account.

Mercurial mad genius Kanye West has already deleted his Instagram account again after an all-too-brief return to praise his wife Kim Kardashian (and several other high-profile celebrity couples) on Valentine’s Day. Kanye originally deleted his accounts around eight months ago while recovering from an onstage meltdown during his Saint Pablo tour. The resulting public backlash and physical exhaustion of the tour caused him to retreat from public life while earning him a lawsuit and a very angry reference on Jay-Z’s Grammy-nominated album, 4:44. (Uproxx)

A day prior, Kanye spent hours putting together pics some of the entertainment industry’s biggest current and former couples on his page.

He started with photos of Madonna and Sean Penn and Barack and Michelle Obama, and by the time he was finished, he had name-dropped Ellen DeGeneres, Sonny & Cher, John & Yoko, Dennis Rodman, David Bowie, Iman, JFK, Jackie O, Mick Jagger, Grace Jones, Serge Gainsbourg, Kid Rock, the dude from Sum 41, a fictional couple from “Sex & the City,” and so many others. The series ended, of course, with photos of West and his wife, Kim Kardashian West. He’s since deactivated his account once more.) (Pitchfork)
