XXXTentacion Murder Footage Shown in Court

The murder of XXXTentacion was captured on surveillance video, which was aired publicly for the first time during a court hearing in Broward County, Florida on Thursday (Sept. 27).

The chilling footage, aired by local Florida news station WPLG, shows two men following the late rapper as he walks into the RIVA Motorsports dealership in Deerfield. His BMW i8 is stopped by the two suspects, Michael Boatwright and Trayvon Newsome, who wield guns and attempt to rob him of a Louis Vuitton bag.

The rapper struggled with the assailants, who ordered him to remove his chain, before they allegedly shot him. One of the suspects entered the passenger side of XXX’s car before fleeing the scene. They made off with the bag and $50,000 in cash.

Prosecutors played the video during a discovery and bail hearing for Robert Allen, one of four suspects charged with the “Moonlight” rapper’s murder. Allen will remain in jail after the judge denied his bond request. He faces several charges including first-degree murder.

Allen, along with Boatright, Newsome, and Dedrick Williams, were indicted in July, a month after XXXTentacion was killed. He was 20 years old.
