Tory Lanez’s Love Me Now? First-Week Projections Revealed

Love Me Now?

Canadian hip-hop artist Tory Lanez is gearing up for a big opening week. The international rapper’s new Love Me Now? album is expected to easily land on the sales chart.

Based on early estimates, Tory’s newest solo effort is expected to sell up to 43,000 copies in its first 7 days.

Andrea Bocelli should take the #1 spot on next week’s HITS Top 50. Here’s what we know this morning.

Andrea Bocelli (Decca) 110-125k total activity, 109-123k album
Tory Lanez (Mad Love/Interscope) 38-43k, 5-6k
Pentatonix (RCA) 11-14k, 10-12k (HITS Daily Double)

This week, Tory announced his new album landed top billing on digital platform Apple Music.

Tory is low-key working on a collaborative effort with R&B singer Chris Brown.

Earlier in the week, Tory dropped his Gunna-assisted “MiAMi” anthem.

Last week, Tory and rap star Meek Mill blessed fans with their “DrIP, DrIP, Drip” single.

Hitting our pages earlier this summer to drop off his “Kendall Jenner” music video, the new track “Drip Drip Drip” is a lyrical switch-up which sees the Toronto rapper reunite with Meek Mill, as the duo trade bars on everything, from women, icy bling and mountainous stacks. Lanez can be heard delivering his trademark melodic flows, cleverly mixed in with a healthy dose of witty wordplay, leaving Meek to do what he does best. Although Love Me Now? is expected to hit the scene on October 26, be sure to check out “Drip Drip Drip” ahead of the album’s release next week. (HYPEBEAST)
