Tekashi 6ix9ine Placed in General Population of Brooklyn Prison

Hip-Hop has been buzzing since the arrest and reveals of charges against Tekashi 6ix9ine. In case you missed it, the controversial rapper is a part of a RICO case that has provided an eight-count indictment. Tekashi is in federal custody currently, however, he is sitting in general population.

TMZ reports 6ix9ine, born Daniel Hernandez, is being held at the Brooklyn Metropolitan Detention Center and will not receive special treatment due to his fame. The detention center has been described as “extremely dangerous, violent, or escape-prone.”

Prior to his arrest, Tekashi was believed to be a target of the team in which he recently fired. That belief sped up the federal arrest to attempt to keep both the rapper and others who may have nothing to do with the situation but in the vicinity of the rapper safe.

Reactions to the arrest have poured in from across the Hip-Hop community, including Casanova 2x who is not a fan of the reaction of many who are praising the “FEFE” star’s arrest.

Tekashi 6ix9ine is facing up to life in prison.
