Tamar Braxton’s Ex-Boyfriend Claims She Attacked and Threatened to Kill Him

There’s trouble in paradise for Tamar Braxton and her ex-boyfriend.

Earlier this week, David Adefeso filed a restraining order against the singer, claiming she attacked him and threatened his life.

In the documents, obtained by TMZ, David said Tamar started punching him during an argument while he was driving his Rolls-Royce, and threatened to have him killed. David says Tamar violently punched him in the throat, disorienting him and nearly causing him to lose control of the vehicle.

After parking his Rolls-Royce, David says Tamar smashed the camera and rearview mirror. He claims he suffered bruising to his neck and shoulder area, in addition to damage to the car.

Since the alleged attack, which led to their breakup, he says Tamar has been threatening to kill him. She allegedly told him that her ex-husband Vincent Herbert wanted to “send goons” to kill him six months ago, but she prevented it. He says she is now threatening to unleash the “goons.”

David responded by filing for a temporary restraining order. He was the one who called 911 after finding Tamar “unresponsive” after an apparent suicide attempt on July 16. He told cops she may have overdosed on pills and alcohol as a result of the drama surrounding her upcoming WE tv reality show “Get Ya Life!”

For her part, Tamar alleges that David was the aggressor in a recent domestic violence incident. According to The Blast, the former couple got into a heated altercation while driving to check Tamar into a mental health facility for treatment. She claims he assaulted her and threatened to kill her, saying they were going to end up in a “murder-suicide.”

Tamar started dating David, a Nigerian wealth manager, following her split from Herbert in the summer of 2018. Family sources tell TMZ that Tamar has changed since their relationship began.
