New York rapper Talib Kweli isn’t here for what Kanye West is tweeting. The hip-hop veteran has revealed the impact Ye’s digital presence is having on blacks.
Last night, Kweli hit up Instagram to show smoke getting fired his way from a supporter of conservative news personality Alex Jones.
This week, Kanye announced he would now start performing with his Make America Great Again pro-Donald Trump hat.

On his recently released “What’s Free” song, JAY-Z makes a direct reference to Kanye’s love for the Trump hat.

JAY heavily went in on Donald Trump and shared his stance toward Ye’s pro-Make America Great support.
Jay also rejects any comparisons made between him and Kanye West. In the midst of the various controversies Kanye has said and done in 2018, one of the most memorable moments is when he tweeted himself wearing a MAGA hat while later on appearing on Saturday Night Live clarifying his viewpoint on why he embraces wearing the hat: “They said, ‘Don’t go out there with that hat on.’ They bullied me backstage. They bullied me! And then they say I’m in a sunken place. You want to see the sunken place? Okay, I’m going to listen to y’all now, or I’m going to put my Superman cape on. This means you can’t tell me what to do.” (Genius)
