His music “I’m Good” was featured on the blockbuster Showtime Original series The Chi, and his most recent tune “Like Me” was featured on the hit television series Power Book II: GHOST; he is an influence for future generations. Tamera Mowry-Housley Confirms Departure From ‘The Real’

Tamera Mowry Returns to 'The Real' After Her Niece's Killing at Thousand Oaks Shooting

Tamera Mowry-Housley is the latest host to leave ‘The Real’ daytime talk show. The veteran actress has co-hosted the show since its 2013 debut. She took to Instagram on Monday to confirm her exit from the Emmy-Award winning talk show following the then-alleged reports.

“For seven years, my home and heart has been at The Real, wrote Mowry-Housely. “The friendships that I’ve made there will last a lifetime, and the people that I’ve had the blessing to interview have changed my life for the better. I’m so proud of what all the ladies and I have accomplished there, including two well-deserved NAACP Image Awards and a Daytime Emmy. However, all good things must come to an end, and it’s with a bittersweet smile that I announce that I am moving on from The Real.”

She goes on to thank her fellow co-host for the time shared on the award winning showing.

“To my fellow hosts, I love you, I will miss you, and I will always be there for you. Thank you for teaching me, supporting me, and loving all of me. Sisters forever. I’ll be rooting for you, as I look forward to spending more time with my family, pursuing amazing new opportunities, and embarking on the next chapter of my life.”

Mowry-Housley expressed how she had no plans to share her departure following the shocking death news of her dear friend and Glee actress, Naya Rivera.

The ‘Sister Sister’ actress is the third host to leave the show since its beginning in 2013. Amanda Seales, who joined the show back in January, announced her exit just six months following her debut. Tamar Braxton left the show back in 2016 as part of the show’s original group of hosts. There is no word on whether or not someone will fill the absent seats of Mowry-Housley and Seales.

And then there were 3. Loni Love, Adrieene Houghton and Jeannie Mai remain as co-hosts of The Real.

A few weeks after announcing their engagement, Jeannie Mai is tearing up speaking on the love that she and Jeezy share and how he helped her to learn to love herself after her divorce.

On Monday (Apr 13), during the at-home version of daytime talk show, The Real, Jeannie Mai opened up to her co-hosts about how she’s preparing for her second marriage after castmate Adrienne Houghton inquired about steps she’s taking this time around versus her first marriage of 10-years to ex-husband Freddy Harteis.

“I would say that that personal time, for anyone that’s been divorced, you guys if you have friends who’ve been divorced, it is one of the most traumatic things that can happen,” a tearful Mai said. “You feel like you failed. You feel embarrassed for all the people that were there at your wedding. Then you get jaded! I remember telling you guys, I think I said I’m not getting married again. And I’m sure if you go back in episodes you’ll see times I made jokes about marriage. The thing I think that saved me is that I never gave up on love. I never gave up on love because it’s so omnipresent. It’s so healing that the only reason I recognize healthy love with Jay today is because I took that time to love myself.”

Jeannie gonna be comin’ outta quarantine like… 💍

A post shared by The Real Talk Show (@therealdaytime) on

Mai also noted that their journey of love was eased by her wanting to love herself and Jeezy understanding, before adding that her previous relationship and divorce left her shaken up for a while.

“Two years I took away from divorce, and the divorce hurt,” Mai continued. “People change. People behave in ways you didn’t expect and you see things in people and then it makes you completely not able to trust anybody after that. You see the partner you slept with and shared a life with a certain way, and then things change, again, because of hurt feelings, not because people are bad people but because it’s just hurt.”

Jeezy and Jeannie Mai Are Engaged, The Snowman Proposed During Quarantine

Celebrity Sightings In New York City - February 07, 2020

Jeezy and Jeannie Mai are engaged. The Atlanta rapper proposed to his bride to be, and co-host of The Real, while they are both under quarantine (more like sheltering in place) during the ongoing Coronavirus Pandemic.

According to People, Jeezy asked for her hand in marriage back on March 27.

Reportedly, the Snowman intended to propose in April during a trip to Vietnam. However, the COVID-19 outbreak scuttle those previous plans. Instead, Jeezy surprised Mae with a date night at his crib in Los Angeles.

“Jeannie and Jay were set for a trip to Vietnam this April. What Jeannie didn’t know is that Jay was planning to propose,” Mai’s rep told People (Jeezy’s real name is Jay Jenkins). “Instead, Jay decided to bring Vietnam to Jeannie with a surprise quarantine date night in his home filled with Vietnamese food and decor.”

Jeezy and Mae started dating back around the fall of 2019.

Congratulations to the happy couple.

Amanda Seales is bringing her brazen personality to daytime TV and we are here for it.

According to The Jasmine Brand, the Insecure actress and newly minted author of Small Doses: Potent Truths for Everyday Use will be joining co-hosts Loni Love, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Jeannie Mai and Adrienne Houghton on their Emmy-winning show.

“She guest co-hosted on the show for a while and they loved her,” a source told the publication. “She really connected with the audience!”

The daytime hit show originally debuted with five hosts: Adrienne Houghton, Loni Love, Jeannie Mai, Tamar Braxton and Tamera Mowry-Housley. But apparently off-screen drama led to Braxton’s contract expiration after season two, leaving the fifth seat vacant for three season with different stars appearing as a guest host.

“Everyone is really excited about her coming on,” the source added.

It’s no secret that Amanda Seales will further diversify the points of view and conversations that the show is known for, her unapologetic view has garnered her both praise and criticism over the last few years. Amanda’s latest viewpoint about Kim Kardashian’s latest cover controversy garnered her so much support that the comedic songstress recently celebrated hitting one million followers before announcing that her page would now be private to block negativity and protect her creative space.

“A Toast to a Milli! A Thank you to everyone who has enjoyed and inspired my content! As promised, at a million followers I’m going private at 12p EST on 12/23. Looking forward to creating and curating a thriving intellectual hilarious safe space here on the Instagrams. ✨🙏🏽❤

Seales will begin her new position in 2020, which is also when fans can expect the return of Insecure, which just wrapped up filming for the fourth season over the weekend.

The Real, which premiered back in 2013, has already been renewed for their seventh and eighth seasons.

Jeannie Mai Credits Jeezy For Helping Her Raise Relationship Standards: “I Gave Myself The Bare Minimum”

Tyler Perry Studios Grand Opening Gala

The Real host Jeannie Mai is starting to open up about her relationship with rapper Jeezy and we are here for it.

On Wednesday’s (Oct. 9) episode of the daytime talk show, Jeannie Mai revealed to her castmates that her standards were pretty low during her marriage. Mai states that she accepted the “bare minimum” when it came to support from her now ex-husband Freddy Harteis.

“When [Freddy] said things like ‘good for you’ or ‘that’s cool,’ I’m like, that’s great, he supports me! That to me is my standard of support. I didn’t even know until my new relationship that something as basic,” Jeannie Mai said emotionally.

Mai states that Jeezy helped show her what real support was and became tearful when recalling how the “Snowman” rapper left his birthday party to take her to the airport.

“I’m not crying to feel bad,” Mai continued tearfully. “It was just so touchy. But even something as basic as, like, at his birthday party, he left his own birthday to drive me to the airport, he was like ‘are you kidding? I want to see you off.’”

Despite her revelations, Jeannie Mai insists that she doesn’t blame her ex for the downfall of their marriage, instead, she states that she learned the importance of loving herself and taking time out to be truly single to avoid settling for a relationship that doesn’t meet her standards.

As previously reported, the couple went public with their relationship in August to the shock of many fans. The “enTRAPreneur” and The Real co-host made their swirl official with some professional photos shared exclusively by People Magazine.

In other Jeezy news, the rapper announced he’s hitting the road with his The Return of Snow, All White Winter Megafest concert.

The Detroit show will, of course, feature Jeezy and friends, with some special appearances by artists from the Detroit area. The concert is slated to take place on December 13 at the Little Ceasars Arena.

Tickets are scheduled to go on sale Friday, October 11 at 10 a.m. and can be purchased at 313Presents.com or Ticketmaster.com.

Tamar Braxton & Loni Love Of ‘The Real’ Clap At Each Other, Twitter Pops Popcorn

Ladies Of "The Real" On "Extra"

Source: Noel Vasquez / Getty

It has been three years since Tamar Braxton left daytime talk series The Real amid chatter that she was ousted, although it was reported that the decision to split was mutual. Braxton sat down with Wendy Williams and had some words that prompted a response from her former co-workers.

In an interview with The Wendy Williams Show, the host asked Braxton if she’d ever return to the program after stating clearly that the show could use her talents. Braxton told Williams that she doesn’t want to be used as a marketing tool and wished the women of the show well but also mentioned that the workplace on The Real was a toxic environment. To be fair to Braxton, she never mentioned any names and some might remember that she apologized to her co-stars earlier this summer. Hit the 11:27-mark to see the comments

Loni Love of The Real responded to Braxton’s words via a taping of the series, essentially throwing a shot at Williams, who didn’t say anything particularly bad about the show except referring to it as a “cute” which must’ve gotten under Love’s skin.

Love reminded Williams in her retort that the program has won an Emmy, and then launched into Braxton, saying it’s been three years since the rift and that she has reached out personally as well as producers of the show to have her on the program to finally settle whatever unspoken beef they might have.

Well, that didn’t go over too well with Braxton, who took to Instagram to show the receipts and to add to the speculation that Love conspired with the show’s producers to have her fired. Read the IG post below.

In the following Instagram post, Tamar Braxton posted a clip of TS Madison and Khia captioned with the following: ”
[S]orry I only go on shows with ratings, plus you do enough talking about me.”

Yikes. Hopefully, someone gets these two in a PRIVATE conversation to handle whatever this is.

We’ve caught some reaction via Twitter to this long-running feud between Tamar Braxton and The Real below.

Tamar Braxton Give Heartfelt Apology To Former ‘The Real’ Co-Hosts

WE tv Celebrates The Premiere Of "Braxton Family Values"

Source: FayesVision/WENN.com / WENN

Tamar Braxton was once a member of the popular daytime talk series, The Real, but after three years she vacated the show under a storm of controversy. After some public bad blood between Braxton and her former co-hosts, the singer and reality show star offered a heartfelt apology to The Real’s current lineup, crediting new love as the impetus.

By way of an Instagram video, Braxton showed off her newfound glee alongside her new boyfriend, David Adefeso, at a water park. In the caption, Braxton poured out her heart to her past colleagues.

“When all u know and felt is hurt. You hurt. Self inflicted and to others are included. From my sisters, the ladies of the real, Iyanla, old and new Friends and whomever else I’ve EVER hurt, from being hurt. Please forgive me. I didn’t know love to show you love. Now I do thanks to my @david.adefeso,” Braxton wrote.

Braxton was on The Real from 2013 to 2016, leaving the show after reports stated she was fired but in fact, Braxton affirmed she and the show producers had an amicable split.

If the apology is sincere, it’s a big first step for the passionate Braxton, who is known for her biting wit and sharp tongue.
