Things Get Spicy Between Wendy Williams & Joseline Hernandez, Twitter Reacts

Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen - Season 17

Source: Bravo / Getty

Joseline Hernandez has been in the news of late due to the success of her Joseline’s Cabaret reality show series. Hernandez was a recent guest on The Wendy Williams Show and the pair got into it just a bit, which has Twitter reacting in kind.

As the episode hasn’t aired in most markets, the reactions we’ve seen on Twitter thus far are from clips fans have posted along with their observations of the perceived shade between Hernandez and Williams. The two are familiar with one another as Hernandez has been a guest on the show in its live format.

In the episode set to air Wednesday (April 28), fans say that the testiness of the conversation was notable considering that Hernandez has been a “Hot Topic” recipient in the past. From what we can ascertain, it appears that Hernandez felt that Williams undersold the success of Joseline’s Cabaret, which most might know from the chilling “double homicide” viral moment.

The Zeus Network series is definitely a popular one, which Hernandez proudly proclaimed as being number one in its market, but it appears that Williams didn’t agree with the assessment.

As a result, the clip that has surfaced by way of one Twitter user seems to be about Hernandez wanting Williams to recognize her success rather than tear her down. According to some observers, Hernandez should’ve opted to skip the show if she was looking for approval from the popular media personality.

When the episode is uploaded to the show’s website or YouTube, we’ll come back with more breakdown of the chat. For now, check out the reactions from Twitter.

UPDATE: The interview segment featuring Joseline Hernandez is now live and running on The Wendy Williams Show. Check it out below.

Fat Joe Offers to Facilitate Beef Ending Discussion Between Nick Cannon and Eminem

ViacomCBS is 'Hopeful' to Rebuild Business Relationship With Nick Cannon

Nick Cannon is ready to squash his beef with Eminem.

The Wild N Out star recently hopped on Instagram live with Fat Joe. They started talking about Eminem, and Cannon said that he respects Eminem’s abilities as a rapper.  “One day, hopefully, dude and I will get an opportunity to sit down, ’cause like I said, I do respect his ability,” Cannon said.

Joe then jumped in and offered to facilitate the sit down between Nick and Eminem. That’s when Cannon said that he’s reached out Royce Da 5’9 to get that conversation going, but apparently no progress has been made.

“If you can do it, man. I’ve been trying to get…I done talked to Royce, we trying to really get it popping,” Cannon said. “‘Cause I think at the end two men need to really have that conversation. While you at it, tell him to come…we’ll set up an exclusive Wild’n Out Detroit.”

Cannon and Em have been beefing for many years now. Cannon’s ex-wife Mariah Carrey had allegedly dated the Detroit MC for 6 months even though she denies that ever happened.

Last year, Em took aim at Cannon in the Fat Joe single “Lord Above” which featured Mary J. Blige. Cannon then took the offensive and dropped 3 diss tracks towards Em, including “The Invitation,” “Pray For Him” and “Cancelled: The Invitation.” The diss tracks were clowned by social media.

Stephon Marbury Says Jay-Z Is Not An Advocate For Black People

i

Many people have applauded Jay-Z for his recent social justice initiatives and work with criminal justice reform. However, former NBA star Stephon Marbury is calling BS on it all.

Brandon ‘Scoop B’ Robinson recently sat down with Marbury and in the interview Marbury addressed his almost two-decade long feud with Hov. Marybury’s beef with Jay-Z stems from a couple of bars Hov threw at him about when he was robbed of $150k worth of jewelry. “Don’t confuse me with Marbury out this bitch/Run up on me at the light you might lose your life,” Hov rapped in “La-La-La-La (Excuse Me Miss Again).

Marbury says he and Jay’s beef started over a woman. Marbury was dancing at a club with a woman who later told him that Jay was mad at him for dancing with her.

Marbury then goes on to say how he believes Jay-Z is trying to be something he’s not.

Wow, here you are trying to be something that you’re not. You’re not an advocate for Black people, you sold drugs to Black people and you rapped about it and talked about it. How do you do that? Like, I’m trying to figure that part out. Like, you can’t make that right. This ain’t snitching, this ain’t telling on nobody,  you told on yourself already. You already told people what it is that you do and how you do it and how you feel about what you’re doing. So, how are you rapping about something that you did? I’m confused. I dunno. But people ask me, ‘Why you always talking about Jay-Z? Why you always saying something about LeBron?’ — they’re two of the same. They’re together. They’re friends.”

Marbury did not stop there. He then continues to talk about Hov’s past as a crack/cocaine dealer. Marbury talks about how Jay sold drugs to pregnant women and created crack babies that killed their grandparents.

“You sold drugs to people where you’re from Jay-Z in Brooklyn in Marcy, you got them on crack — whatever it is cocaine whatever it is that you were selling to them. Whatever you say you was ‘cooking up’, that’s what you did. So now, you got your people high, you sold drugs to people that was pregnant, now you created crack babies — these same babies that are going out killing grandparents… I’m confused. But that’s what it is. That’s what happened.”

[WATCH] T.I. And Jeezy Discuss Squashing Their Beef With Gucci Mane On ‘ExpediTIously’ Podcast

Screen Shot 2020 07 29 at 7.47.18 AM

Anyone who truly knows their Dirty South Hip Hop history knows the longstanding beef between ATL rappers Jeezy, T.I. and Gucci Mane. The aforementioned two sat down face to face and chopped it up on Tip’s ExpediTIously podcast about how the trio could create a peace treaty, which would be monumental for the rap game, but best for their hometown of ATL.

The issues between the three ATLiens seem to be almost irreconcilable, with some incidents that have turned violent and at least one, where someone from Jeezy’s camp was shot and killed by Gucci Mane, so even to have the discussion was a monumental move.

Even with all of the positive discussions about reconciliation, Mr. 1017 has yet to respond to the white flag discussion.

Jim Jones and French Montana Squash Beef On IG Live

BIG3 - Week Four - Brooklyn

Source: Mike Stobe / Getty

Jim Jones and French Montana are finally friends after the two spoke regarding their 15-year span of unsettled differences.

On Thursday (Apr 16), French Montana took to Instagram to publicly squash the beef with Jim Jones, before revealing that the two are working on new music together.

During the impromptu interview, the two rap veterans discussed their long and strained history, including a tense moment at the MTV Music Awards which resulted in laughter as the two looked back on their antics towards one another. The touching moment was posted to Montana’s Instagram, with the caption:

“15 YEARS OF BEEFING ENDED UP WITH LAUGHS AND WAR STORIES 🙏BIG MOMENT FOR HIP HOP SHOUT OUT TO @jimjonescapo.”

In addition to squashing their own beef, both French Montana and Jim Jones offered up words of advice to artists who are finding themselves at odds with a fellow rapper or entertainer, noting that COVID-19 is proving life is too short to squander away opportunities over petty drama.

“If there’s anybody out there watching from the young n****s, man, learn from this,” Montana said during the live. “Don’t waste 15 years in the game when y’all could have been getting all kinds of bags together.” Jones agreed, adding that he doesn’t understand how artists could still be engaged in beef during the COVID-19 era.

“There’s a lot of foolish beefs and foolish shootings and there’s a lot going on right now with everybody cooped up in the house,” he said.

Although the beef was just seemingly squashed, the two hitmakers revealed that they had something big in the works for fans, after French Montana previewed his new single, “That’s a Fact.”

“I can’t wait for ya’ll to hear this. We gotta do something big for Rockaway, we gotta put Rockaway on the map,” Jim Jones said.

Check out some clips from the momentous live below.

It’s Murda?: Ja Rule Says He’ll Do A Verzuz IG Live Battle With Foe 50 Cent

Super Bowl After Party Hosted By Migos and Fabolous

Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty

Since the nationwide shut-in due to the novel coronavirus spread, Swizz Beatz and Timbaland‘s Verzuz Instagram Instagram Live battles have been must-watch entertainment. Hoping to throw his hat in the ring, Ja Rule says he’s down to clash with his longtime rival 50 Cent and promised to keep it free of hostility.

Fat Joe shared an IG Live conversation with Verzuz co-founder Swizz Beatz and aired the portion of the chat where Ja Rule called in on another phone. The “Always On Time” star is heard over Joey Crack’s smartphone speaker promising Swizz that he intends to “behave” and not drum up any of the beef with his fellow Queens native and foe in Fif.

Swizz Beatz didn’t sound entirely convinced that Ja Rule would keep it peace for the sake of the battle but did tell the rapper to send over 20 songs for the battle, no doubt to make certain the legalities are taken care of on the back end.

Not for nothing, Ja Rule had an incredible run of hits during his heights as did 50 Cent. But could the G-Unit General best his Murda Inc. nemesis in a head-to-head contest of tracks? Stay tuned.

Twitter is currently sounding off after learning of Ja Rule’s willingness to hop into the ring with 50 Cent. Some are saying that Ja certainly has a stack of hits that still ring off in your garden variety mix formats and club sets but there are many who feel that Fif has enough firepower to get him out of there.

We’ve got those reactions listed out below.
