Master P Connects With Former Tesla Engineer to Create Black-Owned Supercar

Master P 'In Negotiations' To Acquire Reebok With Ex-NBA Guard Baron Davis For $2.4 Billion

If there’s one thing Master P is going to do, it’s stay in his bag.

Master P took to Instagram to announce that he is partnering with former Tesla engineer, Richard Patterson, to create the next generation of supercars, Trion Supercars. This would make the Louisiana entrepreneur and music mogul the head of the first Black-owned supercar manufacturer in the United States.

“#RichardPatterson CEO of Trion, the first black-owned supercar manufacturer in America. He is a former engineer at Tesla, designing the Model S from scratch. He also designed the landing gear on the Boeing 777 and the folding seats system in the Dodge Minivan,” P wrote.

He continued, “Mr. Patterson has went on to create his own supercar the Nemesis RR, adding diversity in the automotive industry and empowering a culture of dreamers… In addition to the Nemesis RR models, Trion Supercars is currently in the process of creating affordable luxury suvs and cars for the masses. www.TrionSuperCars.com.”

Master P’s announcement comes just a month after he announced that he is trying to buy Reebok from Adidas in March of this year. Master P said that if he acquires Reebok he plans on turning it into a lifestyle brand. “As we focus on turning Reebok to a lifestyle brand not just a basketball brand, our most important initiative will be to put money back into the community that built this company,” Master P said.

Bootleg Tony Stark AKA Elon Musk Unveiled Tesla’s New ‘Cybertruck’, Twitter Clowned It

The Internet Clowns Elon Musk's New "Cybertruck" Design

Source: FREDERIC J. BROWN / Getty

Elon Musk and his company Tesla has a lot of money to waste, and he made that abundantly clear with the unveiling of his company’s new “Cybertruck”‘ an electric pickup truck on Thursday (Nov.22).

The very unusual vehicle that looks like something out of the 1982 film Blade Runner starring Harrison Ford comes in three models: a single-motor rear-wheel drive for $39,900, a dual-motor all-wheel drive for $49,900 and a tri-motor all-wheel drive for $69,900.

Now despite its very cyberpunk look, which Musk before its unveiling hinted at and stated he didn’t care how people would feel about, the Cybertruck boasts some pretty impressive specs. According to Tesla’s CEO, the most expensive model can tow up to up to 14,000 pounds, can go 0-60 in 2.9 seconds, can travel up to 500 miles on a single charge, and hit a top speed of 130 MPH.

The night should have been a big one for Musk and his company, but the presentation hit a bit of a snag. During a demonstration showing off the truck’s toughness, the side of the vehicle was hit with a sledgehammer by Tesla’s chief designer, Franz von Holzhausen, and it didn’t even leave a dent. The Cybertruck is made out of the same metal that is used on the SpaceX rocket, and it’s also supposed to be bulletproof with Musk boasting the doors could withstand a bullet from 9mm handgun.

When it came time to the test the “shatterproof” windows on the truck, the designer lobbed a metal ball at one of the windows, and it cracked.

Thinking the second time will produce better results, he hurled the metal ball at a back window, and it also cracked. Responding to the hiccup, Musk stated, “Maybe that was a little too hard,” and continued the presentation with the truck’s messed up windows.

TMZ is reporting that Musk was furious following the flop of a presentation, and Forbes states that his net worth dropped $770 million as well.

As you can imagine, the internet found the presentation quite hilarious and had plenty of jokes. You can hit the gallery below to see the reactions to the Cybertruck and its “shatterproof” windows below.

Short Sellers Coming For Elon Musk’s Company On Twitter With $TslaQ Hashtag In Hopes To Cash In

$TslaQ Hashtag

Elon Musk should be riding a wave of momentum right now. Just recently his company Tesla announced its new crossover SUV, the Model Y and unveiled a leasing option for the model 3. But there is a growing group consisted of crowd-sourced short sellers on a mission to see Musk and his company fail so they can take advantage and make some money.

If you click on the $TslaQ hashtag on Twitter, you will see a concerted effort from short sellers (investors who profit from stocks declining) to expose Telsa and its CEO Elon Musk in hopes to see the company’s value crash and burn. In a detailed report from the Los Angeles Times, writer Russ Witchell breaks down just how intricate this crowd-sourced effort is.

From having their own fleet of pilots called the Shorty Air Force who fly over lots exposing hundreds of cars sitting and a ground effort called the Shorty Ground Force who gather images of cars just collecting dust tell a different story than what Elon Musk’s Twitter timeline is saying.

Per The Los Angeles Times:

“Ten days left in the quarter, and they’re just sitting there,” said Machine Planet, peering down at the remote landscape outside Lathrop. Tesla bought those trailers to aid what Chief Executive Elon Musk said will be an unprecedented wave of new car deliveries in March. But to Machine Planet — that’s the name he uses on Twitter — the scene just confirms his suspicions that there are lots all around the U.S. filled with unsold Tesla cars. (He and others claim to have counted 52.)”

“If you spend any time on the Twitter hashtag $TslaQ, you know what this means to Tesla short sellers. They believe the lots full of new Model 3s — and Models S and X vehicles, too — show Tesla has reached a cliff in demand for its vehicles. When the rest of the world finally admits the company’s days as a fast-growth story are numbered, they say, its stock price will crash, creating a bonanza for investors who, like Machine Planet, have bet big that Tesla’s shares are grossly overvalued.”

Again while they have done extensive research on the company gathering all kinds of info and photos, Musk is telling a different story about his company and business is good, and the cars are moving.

We will just have to see if Musk’s dream of owning the road, sending people to space and equipping homes with solar panels will come to fruition.
