M.O.P. & Ruste Juxx Join Rhyme Assassin on His Blistering New Single, “Run Em Up (Told Ya)” (prod. by The Arcitype)

Zimbabwe-born, London-based emcee Rhyme Assassin delivers a straight-up banger and connects with bully-rap royalty on his new single, “Run Em Up (Told Ya),” featuring none other than M.O.P. and Ruste Juxx.

The track also boasts production from underground rap luminary The Arcitype, whose menacing beat inspired Rhyme Assassin to reach out to his collaborators on here. “I could only hear M.O.P. on the instrumental,” he says, adding that it didn’t matter how many times he listened to it, because he could only hear the Brownsville bullies on the beat. Then, when he needed a third verse to close it out, he linked with Ruste, who “complemented M.O.P.’s energy and vibes,” Rhyme Assassin says.

“Run Em Up” is an absolute bruiser of a track, with everyone involved nailing the concept of running up on competition. It’s also the second single from Rhyme Assassin’s upcoming debut album, Dedicated to Self, that also features the likes of Ras Kass, Masta Ace, Stic Man (dead prez), Saigon, and Keith Murray. On the boards, you’ll hear beats from Buckwild, Tru Master, and DJ King Flow, among others. And for those just getting familiar with Rhyme Assassin, be sure to check out his previously released mixtapes and compilations, like 2021’s Side Barz.

“Run Em Up (Told Ya)” is available now through all major digital retailers and streaming platforms, with his forthcoming LP, Dedicated to Self is due out later this year via Uncle Rhymez Records.

UK’s Rhyme Assassin Brings Hip Hop Legends Together In New Single “Rhyme Apostles

“Initially the idea was to have four emcees on the track.  However, this concept came to me inspired by the story of Jesus from the Bible, how he surrounded himself with twelve apostles.  I was on a mission to recruit some of the most legendary lyricists in the game as apostles of rhyme.”

UK Based, Zimbabwe born and raised emcee Rhyme Assassin details the genesis of his newly released track, Uncle Rhymez Records Presents “Rhyme Apostles.  Produced by the UK’s Deep Voice and was mixed/mastered by fellow Zimbabwean P2Doah the track boasts the assemblage of the Avengers of rhyme including Jadakiss, Crooked I, Canibus, Reks, Craig G., Keith Murray, Ruste Juxx, Antlive, Chino XL, A-F-R-O, Prodigal Sunn and K-Solo.

Craig G., who many hip-hop fans know for his work in the legendary Juice Crew and who also wrote many of the battle rhymes used by Eminem and his opponents in the film 8 Mile called the track a “global situation.”

The track is available now via all DSP’s and fans will be pleased to learn that a video to accompany the track is in the works.  “Realizing this track to reality was a monumental and long task but overall a highly enjoyable one.  However, I was rewarded by each of these legends willingness to see my vision and deliver.  I am truly humbled with the result.”
