Lil Uzi Vert has his sights set on his next big purchase — a planet.
His close friend Grimes took to Twitter to show her followers the planet that Uzi is in the process of purchasing. The tweet claims it’s called WASP-127b and it’s almost one and a half times bigger than Jupiter.
“Apparently @LILUZIVERT owns this planet – just a heads up.”
Uzi responded by saying he was trying to surprise fans with the purchase but he’s still working on it.

Grimes claims he would be the first human to legally own a planet.
The Philly native was recently in the news for a diamond facial piercing that cost $24 million. Uzi acquired the rare pink diamond from famed jeweler Elliot Eliante. It was inserted into the center of his forehead, via dermal implant. Within months fans noticed the diamond was missing on a date night out with his girlfriend JT. Uzi never made any official comments as to why he removed the gem but there was speculation around his mental state.
Complex reached out to NASA to see if this was even a real possibility, with no response so far.
There is an outer space treaty that prevents nations from owning planets but not individuals. Lil Uzi Vert can now add outer space to his list of assets.
