Joe Rogan Apologizes For Past N-Word Use: “The Most Regretful and Shameful”

Joe Rogan is calling his past use of the N-word “the most regretful and shameful” thing he’s had to address.

The 54-year-old posted a five minute apology to his Instagram after a video compilation of all the times the podcaster used the slur surfaced.

Rogan explains the clips were out of context, and he used the word in quote or referencing others, but says he hopes this will be a teachable moment for how offensive the word can be.

This follows Rogan’s recent controversy with the Spotify app over alleged COVID-19 misinformation on his podcast. Spotify announced adding content advisories to any material that talks about COVID-19.

The music streaming platform said last Sunday it will implement a message directing users to public health sites in an effort to combat the misinformation.

The company has been in hot water for continuing to air Rogan’s podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience,” despite concerns that it is amplifying COVID misinformation.

Spotify CEO Daniel Ek said in a statement, “We are working to add a content advisory to any podcast episode that includes a discussion about Covid-19.”

Pop Crave reports, Spotify has reportedly removed at least 70 episodes of “The Joe Rogan Experience,” for instances where the comedian is heard using racial slurs, mostly the N-Word.

[WATCH] Yaya Mayweather Criticizes Johnny Dang For Allegedly Using N-Word

Even though the video of Lil Pump showing off his chains was supposed to promote the celebrity jeweler Johnny Dang, the video has now been made viral because it is suspected that the famous Houston precious metals dealer said the N-word in reference to Pump.

Floyd Mayweather’s daughter, Yaya Mayweather, addressed Dang’s alleged disrespect, writing, “Are we going to just skip the fact he said the N-word 😂.”. Dang is heard saying, “This is my boy here, he’s so rich man, he got–,” but it really sounds like he said, “He’s so rich, my n***a.”

Sen. Tim Scott Claims Progressives Called Him “N Word” & Says America Isn’t Racist

Sen. Tim Scott is usually trotted out by the Republican Party as an example that America has shed its racist past due to him earning one of the top elected positions in the land. Scott, who is Black, claimed that progressives have called him names like “Uncle Tom” and the “N Word” but then goes on to say America isn’t a racist country.

President Joe Biden held his first address with the United States Congress, laying out a number of ambitious plans while also highlighting some of the challenges and triumphs made by his administration in the wake of COVID-19, civil unrest, police reform discussions, and economic upheaval that is still ongoing.

CNN uploaded the address to YouTube, which can be viewed below.

Thursday (April 29) marks the 100th day of President Biden’s time in the White House, and many of the moves he’s made since taking office in January have been examined at length with criticism coming from Republicans and many on the right along with a few of Biden’s fellow Democrats who too had some issues with some of his moves.

The Republican Party’s response came from Sen. Scott of South Carolina, a Black man who boldly declared in his rebuttal that, “America is not a racist country.”

In Scott’s estimation, Biden’s call for many measures that progressives and liberals believe in is splitting America apart. There was also the typical talk that the response to COVID-19 and the closing of schools robbed children and the working public of normalcy they’ve grown used to. But what was baffling is Scott claiming progressives have called him a racist slur, which no real progressive would ever do.

“I get called Uncle Tom” and the N-word — by ‘progressives’! By liberals! Just last week, a national newspaper suggested my family’s poverty was actually privilege because a relative owned land generations before my time,” Scott said.

Scott then leaned into his stance that America isn’t racist and said, “it’s backwards to fight discrimination with different discrimination.”

He then goes into defending his side’s call for voting laws reform in some phantom attempt to stop cheating at the polls, a claim from the Republican Party that holds less and less merit over time as the evidence of voter fraud doesn’t add up to the belly-aching from conservatives and Republicans about voting.

“This is not about civil rights or our racial past. It’s about rigging elections in the future,” Scott fired off.

We don’t need to share any more of Sen. Scott’s speech to know that he’s selling the lie that progressives would call him a slur and that his party’s claims to right the imbalance of voting laws are about anything other than making a process that was largely error-free in the last major election despite all the tricks employed by former Blowhard-In-Chief, Donald Trump.

Sighs, here we go again, white folks trying to claim another term is comparable to the n-word. Bllack Twitter, of course, is not having it.

A Twitter poll popped up, suggesting that the term “Karen” is “being used as a sexist and racist slur.” It further went on to suggest that “Karen” is the “equivalent of the n-word for white women” and asks should the term be banned on Twitter altogether.

Bruh what?

The answer to that question is a straightforward no, and Black Twitter is accurately pointing out the two terms are not equivalent because you can easily write Karen down but not the n-word.

Karen is defined by Urban Dictionary as:

Nowhere in there does it say it was used to oppress a particular race of people mentally. But every single one of those definitions is accurate as hell.

Bun B Is No Fan Of Jailed N-Word User Joe Exotic

While many are fawning over the flamboyant and currently incarcerated zookeeper Joe Exotic, there are some who aren’t as enamored. Bun B can be counted among that group after video footage of the Tiger King star surfaced with him making a plea to be able to say the n-word as a white man.

In a recently unearthed clip discovered by TMZ featuring Exotic, real name Joseph Maldonado-Passage, the trainer can be seen expressing his anger over being disallowed from using the n-word. Bun B posted the video to his Instagram page in all its glory.

“What’s goin’ on in here, in this country?” Exotic is seen saying in the clip. “It’s absolutely pathetic.”

Exotic continues with, “I can’t say the N-word, but you can get on YouTube and watch any Black man’s rap video, and they’re calling each other the N-word. What the hell, is this discrimination? I’m white, I can’t say the N-word and they can?”

The veteran UGK rapper and educator had a quick set of words for Joe Exotic.

“No Joe. You’re pathetic. Later for this clown,” Bun wrote in the caption.

Bun B’s Wife Called The N-Word In A Drive-Thru, Fade Nearly Administered In Walgreens

The wife of Bun B almost had to administer the taper and the fade to a white woman who was a little impatient in a fast-food drive-thru and used the n-word, “hard r” version. Angela “Queenie” Walls ran into the woman later on at a local Walgreens but as expected, the energy was way different.

Bun B hopped on Instagram Live to document the confrontation, which took place at a Whataburger drive-thru line. In the video, Bun is seen talking about the incident from the passenger’s seat with his wife offering commentary from the driver’s seat.

Apparently, the woman hopped out her car and threatened to shoot Bun and his lady for not moving their vehicle for whatever reason. It doesn’t appear that the couple was impeding this woman’s entry to the eatery but, as Bun B noted, “Today, she felt like calling as a n*gga.”

Officers arrived on the scene with Bun hoping to cool the situation down but instructed his wife to keep filming the conversation while over 1,000 viewers tuned in. The officers went to the woman and questioned her and addressed the claims made and then allowed everyone to go about their day. In a later portion of the video uploaded by Celebs24hr Videos, Walls and Bun run into the offending white woman inside a nearby Walgreens and Walls was ready to put the mitts on her.

The woman sheepishly walked away after Walls offered her to shoot the fair one but it was clear that this woman wanted none of the Texas smoke to rain down on her and kept it moving with the swiftness.

It should be noted that the person who uploaded the video incorrectly stated that the incident took place in Missouri, but it actually occurred in Missouri City, Texas, which is about 18 miles southwest of Houston.

Boisterous Becky Caught Biblical Fade On American Airlines Flight For Using N-Word

White people are going to have to keep learning the hard way that any use of the n-word can and often will lead to them catching the taper and the fade with immediacy. A white woman on an airline flight learned of this true fact after directing the slur at an airline attendant which led to her Black passenger dishing out the universal beatdown.

In a now-viral video posted to Facebook by Dre Justice over the weekend, the unnamed white passenger on an American Airlines flight can be heard in the clip sounding as if she had one too many drinks. Her passenger leans over from her window seat to berate the woman’s usage of the slur with the American Airlines attendant trying to break the women apart.

After some colorful words were exchanged, the Black passenger simply had enough of Boisterous Becky’s drunken ramblings and insistence that she has a Black cousin and started dishing out the fade before the patient attendant broke them apart and was still trying to help the woman despite her outward racism.

It isn’t known if any legal action was taken by any of the parties shown in the clip but it appears that the Black woman was taken far away from her racist seatmate while passengers looked on in apparent disbelief. Too bad the attendant didn’t at least “forget” to react for a few seconds before doing his job.

50 Cent Checks MSNBC’s Alison Morris Over Her Alleged “Nakers” N-Word Slip

MSNBC reporter Alison Morris was like many an on-air journalist scrambling to cover the tragic death of Kobe Bryant and his daughter, Gianna Bryant, leading to a slip-up that sounded to most like the n-word. 50 Cent caught wind of the alleged gaffe and has demanded that Morris be fired from her post.

The artist born Curtis Jackson didn’t spend a lot of time blasting Morris, who has been revealed to be a native New Yorker hence she clearly has heard the term New York Knicks in her lifetime.

Although she claimed before the segment that she doesn’t follow basketball, her jumbling of the Los Angeles Lakers, which sounded a lot like “Los Angeles N*ggers,” caught the attention of many. We’ve listened to the clip several times oursleves and we’re not hearing much, if not nothing at all, that sounds like “Los Angeles Nakers.”

“[D]id this b*tch just say that on air,” Fif questioned, later adding that Morris should be fired. Morris claims she was saying the word “Nakers,” mixing up the Knicks and Lakers’ team names but it’s hard to see how it computes. As of now, MSNBC hasn’t addressed the matter publicly but many are hoping a better explanation comes sooner than later. Until that happens, color Hip-Hop Wired and many of our peers and associates skeptical.

White MSNBC Reporter Drops Hard ER N-Word, Claims She Confused Lakers With Knicks

Amidst the media discussions and online chatter in the wake of the tragic Kobe Bryant death that the whole world is still processing, a reporter for MSNBC made an exceptional goof on live TV. During the white reporter covering the death of Bryant on a Sunday broadcast, it appears that the reporter dropped an n-word bomb while on air.

Alison Morris was reporting on the Bryant tragedy on MSNBC during her usual tie slot, reportedly admitting at a point during the broadcast that she does not follow professional basketball. During her reporting, Morris uttered a word that most certainly sounded like the n-word with the hard “er” at the end and the reaction online was immediate as expected.

Morris took to Twitter to explain that she happened to confuse the Los Angeles Lakers and the New York Knicks, resulting in her ill-timed slip.

“Earlier today, while reporting on the tragic news of Kobe Bryant’s passing, I unfortunately stuttered on air, combining the names of the Knicks and the Lakers to say “Nakers.” Please know I did not & would NEVER use a racist term. I apologize for the confusion this caused,” Morris.

Right.

We took a look at the clip and listened intently to how that “stutter” happened and there does appear to be a moment where she tried to stop herself from completing the word but it certainly sounds like it came out in all its ugly glory.

Boosie Badazz Dispenses Sage Wisdom On White Rappers Using N-Word

When it comes to getting a breakdown on who or who shouldn’t use the n-word, what better expert to get a comment from than Boosie Badazz? The Lousiana rapper dispensed some sage wisdom regarding why white battle rappers shouldn’t use the term or else they’ll catch a bad one.

TMZ caught Lil Boosie fresh off a flight walking through LAX and got his thoughts on a recent battle featuring white rapper William Wolf. Wolf, in the heat of battle, used the n-word towards his opponent in a rhyme scheme that seemingly tried to justify his use of the term and caught a punch of his unnamed assailant.

Boosie told TMZ that Wolf and others of his hue should definitely know better than to use the n-word in an aggressive manner. However, he’s all good with his white homies referring to him lovingly as “my n*gga.”

Yeah.

Anyway, Boosie was trying to approach the situation from the best place he could given the fact he was literally asked a heavy bomb of a question right after hopping off a plane. Check out the video of the exchange below.
