G Herbo is getting ready to drop off a new project, and he thinks it will make him the “best rapper alive.”
Speaking with TMZ, Herbo revealed he had new music on the way, a mixtape titled Best Rapper Alive.
In Sept. 2023, G Herbo announced he would be off the Machine Entertainment Group roster, revealing that the label’s executives have monetarily shorted him over the years.
Herbo reveals he has been on the Machine Entertainment roster since he was 16. Machine is led by Joseph “JB” Bowden and Mikkey Halstead. Herbo now states he spent a million dollars in legal fees to get free.
“I been signed to Machine since I was 16 years old,” Herbo said. “I was a minor my parents had to sign me up. I signed my publishing away perpetually for 15 grand. I got to the bottom of it, we got that back. We amended that contract so many times.”
Later, Herbo would reveal someone he trusted with his life was running his business and never touched his residuals. After a meeting, Herbo revealed he was blocked by Machine execs, who also attempted to press charges against him.

According to several confirmed reports, Isaiah Dukes aka Lil Zay Osama is back behind bars on illegal weapons charges in Chicago.
Details are scarce about the most recent arrest, but it is being reported that Chicago Police found several illegal weapons in the vehicle of the 25-year-old CHi-Town native, including two assault-style rifles and multiple handguns.
Lil Zay Osama is best known for his Trench Baby series, which includes his “Fuck My Cousin” singles, featuring Lil Durk on the second version.

Lil Jay, whose real name is Mario Austin, was arrested in 2015, held on a $400K bond and charged with irresponsible firearm discharge. For that charge he was sentenced to 12 years in prison in 2019.

The City of New York has dropped gun charges against Compton rapper Roddy Ricch.
The 23-year-old was arrested for gun possession over the weekend. The incident took place in Queens a couple hours before his set on the Governor’s Ball Festival stage.
The Grammy-winning rapper was riding in a Cadillac Escalade, Saturday night when he was stopped for a security checkpoint just outside Citi Field. Reportedly the security guard spotted a 9 millimeter handgun under the seat and notified local police.

The “Down Below” rapper, whose real name is Rodrick Moore was originally charged with criminal possession of a weapon. According to FOX 5 NY the charges were dropped with the case not being listed on the public court docket.

According to several news reports, BX rap wunderkind A Boogie With The Hoodie, his manager, and security were all arrested and charged by the Bergen County detectives reportedly uncovered four guns following an investigation into a nightclub shooting in Teaneck, NJ on Sunday.
A Boogie was out with his crew celebrating his 26th birthday.
Gunshots rang out around midnight at the Rain Nightclub in Teaneck after a fender bender between A Boogie’s team and a reported clubgoer. As the two parties were about to exchange insurance information, an argument ensued and gunfire permeated the parking lot at Rain.
A Boogie With The Hoodie, legally named Julius Dubose, had investigators from Bergen County and the NYPD at his home in Pine Terrace when they discovered a Ruger .380-caliber handgun, a Glock .40-caliber handgun, an H&K 9mm handgun, and a Smith and Wesson 9mm handgun, along with “hollow-point bullets, various high capacity magazines, marijuana, hashish oil edibles and drug paraphernalia commonly associated with the distribution of [drugs],” according to Bergen County Prosecutor Mark Musella.
Detectives arrested Dubose, 26, his security Quashaun Hagler, 33, and Dubose’s manager, Samblou Camara, 27. Police assert that they also found marijuana flowers and edibles in a separate search of Camara’s Bergenfield home.
A Boogie has been officially charged with illegal gun and drug possession. Hagler is charged with illegal possession of a gun and high-capacity magazine and Camara is charged with marijuana possession.
All three men were released pending first appearances in Central Judicial Processing Court in Hackensack.

Kodak Black is finally playing nice with the legal system but it might be too late. He is asking for sympathy for an upcoming hearing.
Bossip is exclusively reporting that the rapper has pleaded to a judge that he be given the lightest sentence possible when it comes to his federal gun charges. The Florida native admitted to lying on a gun application knowing he was forbidden to purchase firearms since he is on bond for a rape accusation.
The website reports that last week his legal team filed paperwork asking the magistrate to only hit him with three to three and a half years which is the minimum for that level of conviction. His lawyers are alleging the crime was pure deception and not possession. They argue the “ZEZE” MC was facing death threats from rival gangs thus the need for firearms. Considering that the maximum sentence for his wrongdoings is 10 years, Kodak is at least thinking ahead.
The judgement is expected to be served this week.

While his rhyming ability and overall sanity was often in question Kodak Black’s has always been known to be with the ish. It seems the rapper had a bloody physical altercation behind bars.
As per HipHopDX the Florida native got into something at Miami’s Federal Detention Center where he is being held. WPLG Local 10 News is reporting that he got into a brawl with another inmate. In an effort to diffuse the situation a guard intervened but ended up getting injured in the process. The station is claiming that the correctional facility employee was kicked in the groin. While the injury does not seem too gruesome on paper the person in question had to be rushed to hospital to undergo surgery.
The “No Flockin” rapper was caught with weapons in March which he plead guilty to. He is waiting for sentencing which is scheduled for November 13. Kodak could face eight years if the judge hits him with the maximum.
