Maybach Music Group’s Meek Mill, Mysonne and Cardi B want justice. The trio have joined a full-fledged movement to get answers behind the mysterious death surrounding a Greene Correctional Facility inmate.

Mysonne went to Instagram Monday (February 18) to rally support for Anthony “Trey” Myrie.

Last week, both Meek Mill and Cardi B called out Green Correctional Facility.

Earlier this month, Cardi and fellow rapper Mysonne singled out a Brooklyn federal prison for not having heat and power for inmates in frigid winter temperatures.

According to reports, the federal Brooklyn jail did not have heat for over a week due to a power outage.

The New York Times reports that several federal public defenders and leaders of the union representing the jail’s corrections officers told the publication of the jail’s current conditions. The Metropolitan Detention Center in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, houses more than 1,600 inmates. Sources told the times the inmates had been stuck in freezing cells for days now. “They just stay huddled up in the bed,” June Bencebi, case manager at the jail, told the Times. (The Hill)

Cardi B Tweaks On The System After Unexplained Death At NY’s Greene Correctional Facility

The Black and Latino community in New York is outraged after another Black man lost his life while behind bars and the facility is being very selective in the information it’s putting out about the death of Anthony Myrie, whose remains have yet to be turned over to his family by Greene Correctional Facility.

Now, Grammy-Award winning artist Cardi B has swiftly ended her IG hiatus, coming back with an adamant message for Greene Correctional Facility:

“You not f*****g getting away with this one, b***h!!”

Myrie’s death has been a viral topic on social media, with many comparing his tragedy to that of the late Sandra Bland four years ago in Texas.

The Invasion Of Privacy star has used her social media account to reach millions around the world who were unfamiliar with the case until today.

Anthony Myrie Mysteriously Dies at Greene Correctional Facility & his Body is Missing

Anthony Myrie, 24, mysteriously passed away during his time at NYS Greene Correctional Facility.

His brother and wife made the announcement on Instagram desperately seeking answers from the detention center because they called Anthony’s family to say that he passed away but the location of his body is unknown.

In the lengthy announcement it stated that Anthony was on the phone with his wife when he was taken to the box by correctional officers. His wife called the facility to find out why her husband was being placed in the box but didn’t get any answers. After about an hour, she received a call saying he was in critical condition, and then an hour after that she was notified that he passed by another inmate’s family.

“They Then Told Her That They Had Sent His Body To Albany Medical Center …. She Called Them … THEY HAVE NO RECORDS Of Him Ever Being Admitted …. SO WHERE IS HIS BODY??!!” Anthony’s brother wrote in the IG post.

Anthony Myrie would’ve been celebrating his 25th birthday next month but unfortunately his life was cut short and his family just want answers.

He was arrested in November 2018 for criminal sale of a controlled substance in the third degree. His tentative release date was Summer 2024.
