Meg Thee Stallion, no new friends, opens up in new interview.

Megan Thee Stallion has millions of fans, three Grammys and a new album in the works. The real H-Town hottie has received praise from music’s biggest names, like Beyonce. That’s all you need right? On top of her game, Thee Stallion has no plans of slowing down anytime soon.

In a new interview with Essence, Megan is glowing as her alter ego “Tina Snow” returns to the scene. In her glammed up fashion spread, she is dripping in VVS diamonds. Styled with designers Hanifa, Cartier, Norma Kamali, Christian Dior, Bulgari, Catherine D’Lish, Orseund Iris and more.

The 26 year-old Houston native shared her musical influences, what’s behind her highly motivated drive and talked working on a new album.

“I feel like [my new album] will be aggressive,” she says. “I feel like this project is definitely something very well thought out. This project is me talking my sh*t, getting back comfortable with myself, getting back to the Megan that was on the come-up.”

The Savage rapper added how she keeps her peace and stays the course of knocking down doors that were once closed.

“There are probably approximately four people around me on a daily basis. I don’t see a lot of people, I don’t talk to a lot of people, because I feel like it’s not good for me. I figured out that my personal space is what keeps me balanced and it’s what keeps me centered…”

“Every time I make a move, I’m like, ‘Okay, how can we be better than Megan last month? How can we be better than Megan last year?’…”

Like they always say it’s not you against who’s next to you it’s you against your old self.

Essence’s September/October issue will hit newsstands August 24.

Mother’s Day is approaching this weekend, and the Diddy and his children will have to experience the day that celebrates mom for the first time without Kim Porter after she tragically passed November last year from complications of pneumonia. Essence took the unprecedented step of featuring Diddy and his children on the cover of their May 2019 issue. Speaking with Dream Hampton who is a dear friend, Diddy opens up to her for the first time since tragically losing Kim Porter in the cover story for the publication.

In the raw, unedited audio which Combs gave permission to be released, he tearfully opens up about his reaction to the news of the mother of his three children’s sudden death. He also spoke on the changes made in his life and stepping up to the challenge to fill the shoes Porter left as being a mom to his kids. When asked about if he has any regrets he harkened back to the social media exchange where he answered a commenter saying he “played himself” for not marrying Porter.

“I wasn’t being all the way honest with my love for her, to myself and even to other people that I was in a relationship with. I don’t have no regrets how things went, they went the way God wanted them to go, but I was playing with love, and it’s not really to be played with. I definitely took for granted that she would just be with me forever. I took for granted that something like this could happen.”

When Hampton asked the burning question about his plans for Mother’s Day, and if he was ready to celebrate the day without Kim, Diddy gets emotional and lets tears flow admitting:

“Anybody that’s lost a mother or lost a soulmate, it takes time. It takes time. They say time heals all wounds when it comes to mothers, [but] I don’t think that’s the case. I don’t think anyone would ever understand how hard it is to be a black mother.”

“I don’t know what I’m going to do, but imma figure something out.”

This is definitely the most vulnerable we have ever heard the larger than life figure has ever been. All Black fathers should listen to this interview.

Diddy Discusses Kim Porter And Fatherhood With ‘Essence’ Mag

Grieving for a loved one is always a slow process but thankfully Diddy is seemingly in a better place. He opened up about his recent loss in depth interview.

The mogul was rather candid with Essence magazine for their upcoming May issue. Covering the publication with his six children, Combs discussed his former lover Kim Porter who died from complications of pneumonia on November 15, 2018. Her passing has made him change his outlook on how involved he was as a parent.

“Before this, I was a part-time father, you know? My family was always first, but there are countless times when I chose work over everything else,” he confessed. “But every day I can hear her telling me to go and spend some time with the kids and make sure everybody’s all right, like she would do. I’m just a lot more present, and, most important, now my kids come before anything else in my life.”

Brother Love also shared some of their last moments three days before she died. [She] “sent the kids over to my house so they wouldn’t get sick. She was like, ‘Puffy, take care of my babies.’ She actually said that to me before she died.” After her death he professed his love for her and admitted he dropped the ball by not marrying her.

The issue of Essence hits newsstands on Friday, April 26.
