Inayah Shares Her Ode To Real Love In “Most Girlz” Visuals

inayah pics1955

Just ahead of her forthcoming sophomore album, Insecure, Inayah shares her ode to real love with her single and accompanying visual, “Most Girlz.”

EMPIRE’s R&B songstress on the rise is known for wearing her heart and soul on her sleeve. The Houston native bears it all on this track honoring reciprocated love from a significant other while embracing inner insecurities.

“I keep putting you in positions that should make you want to leave, but you just keep, you keep lovin’ me harder,” sings Inayah.

The new single/video highlights Inayah in her realest and rawest form and includes a cameo from her real life, love of her life playing opposite of her making for an authentic on screen chemistry.

““Most Girlz” is a story of transparency about how we juggle our deepest insecurities without realizing that there’s someone in our life that will love us through it! Often, we’re so settled into our flaws that the love surrounding us goes unnoticed. ‘Cause “Most Girlz” don’t find love in the city…. a thought that lives in the back of the minds of many who feel unworthy of ever being someone’s “person.” Allowing ourselves to be loved above all of our deeply buried, self critiquing feelings, is a challenge in itself but…. it is one that can be conquered,” shared Inayah.

“Most Girlz” follows the May release of “Always Something.” You can watch and stream it below.

‘Empire’ Star Bryshere Gray To Do Jail Time After Pleading Guilty in Felony Domestic Violence Case

'Empire' Star Bryshere Gray To Do Jail Time After Pleading Guilty in Felony Domestic Violence Case

Bryshere Gray who is best known for his role as Hakeem Lyon on Empire pleaded guilty to his felony domestic violence case.

TMZ reports that Gray pleaded guilty to “felony aggravated assault and, as part of his plea agreement, he’s been sentenced to 10 days in county jail and 3 years probation.”

Additionally, Gray has been ordered to pay restitution and enroll in a domestic violence offender program.

He will be required to submit a drug test and isn’t allowed to possess any weapons or firearm during his probation period.

Gray must also check in with his probation officer 72 hours after being contacted by law enforcement and receive written approval before interacting with anyone with a criminal record.

Back in July Bryshere Gray was accused of domestic violence by his wife and had a standoff with SWAT outside of his Phoenix home.

“The woman had flagged down a citizen for help moments earlier at another nearby gas station stating that she had been assaulted at her Goodyear home for the last several hours by her husband,” the Goodyear police statement reads. “The citizen then drove the victim to the Circle K and called 911. The victim told police her husband was Bryshere Gray, an actor on the TV series ‘Empire.’”

After speaking with Gray’s wife, police went to the home but Gray would not come out leading to a barricade situation that required SWAT and Crisis Negotiation teams.

Gray would surrender at 7 a.m. on July 13. He was booked into Maricopa County Jail on charges of aggravated assault (strangulation), assault (domestic violence), and disorderly conduct.

Terrence Howard Reportedly Sends Cease and Desist To Producers of His Most Recent Film ‘Triumph’

Terrence Howard Reportedly Sends Cease and Desist To Producers of His Most Recent Film 'Triumph'

Terrence Howard is unhappy about the release of his most recent film, Triumph, and threatened to sue the producers.

TMZ reports that Howard sent a cease and desist letter to employees at Cinemark, Digital Ignition Entertainment, Argonaut Entertainment Partners and others, alleging that his name, image, and likeliness has been used without his permission.

The Empire actor’s involvement in the film was “conditioned upon the satisfaction of material monetary and non-monetary promises made by the producers, which never happened.”

Howard’s attorney says that the producers acknowledged that he didn’t provide a release form as recently as April. However, he’s still featured heavily in the promotion, portraying a wrestling coach.

Digital Ignition Entertainment tells the outlet, “The producers made this film with a mission to help advance awareness of Cerebral Palsy and to do our part to promote inclusion in film.  We couldn’t be more proud of the job our cast and crew did to highlight the remarkable accomplishments of the writer of the film, who has Cerebral Palsy, and the lead actor of the film, RJ Mitte, who is also diagnosed with cerebral palsy.”

Triumph stars Terrence Howard and Breaking Bad’s RJ Mitte, who portrays a High School wrestler with cerebral palsy.

Terrence Howard to Sue 20th Century FOX for Unauthorized Usage of ‘Hustle and Flow’ Image for ‘Empire’

Terrence Howard to Sue 20th Century FOX for Unauthorized Usage of Hustle and Flow Image for Empire

Terrence Howard fired off a lawsuit at 20th Century FOX for using a photo of him from his 2005 movie, Hustle and Flow, which also starred his Empire co-star, Taraji P. Henson.

The 51-year-old portrayed Lucious Lyon for Empire‘s six seasons but he claims he never did a photo shoot for the show’s promotional assets. Terrence says the photo is from the studio scene from the 2005 drama when he sang the Grammy-award winning song, “It’s Hard Out Here For a Pimp.”

Howard, in the lawsuit, says “the still frame was selected, reversed (face looking left, not right), and subjected to CGI that simply distilled the cinematographer’s skilled capture of the head with vibrant light and shadow” to create the logo for Empire.

Terrence Howard is suing for damages because he says Paramount Studios would’ve paid him for 20th Century FOX’s usage of the image. He also wants an accounting on all merchandise where the logo appears.

Last year, Howard seemingly retired from acting saying he’s “done pretending” and is “focusing on bringing truth to the world.”

Lee Daniels & Juicy Smolliét aka Jussie Smollett Allegedly Stopped Speaking Because Of R. Kelly

Jussie Smollett Stopped Speaking With Lee Daniels Because of R.Kelly

Source: Daniel Zuchnik / Getty

Empire’s final season set to end early and Juicy Smolliét came out from hiding all because of the Rona, Page Six is reporting the actor/singer is no longer talking to his old boss Lee Daniels and it has nothing to do with getting fired.

According to the publication, Smollett, and Daniels not being on good speaking terms happened way before Jussie allegedly hired brothers Abel and Ola Osundairo to throw a noose around his neck in staged racists homophobic attack. The real issue was the Empire creator wanted Jussie to work with the king of R&Pee, R.Kelly, on creating songs for his character on the show as well as his music career. Smollett was totally against the idea.

Per Page Six:

One point of contention, we’re told, was that Daniels wanted now-disgraced musician Kelly to write songs for Smollett’s “Empire” character — and even suggested that Kelly work on the actor’s own album.

But we’re told Smollett wanted nothing to do with Kelly, who already had a bad reputation in the music industry. Smollett “put his foot down,” the source said. (A Fox rep denied Kelly ever wrote for the show or that Daniels asked him to do so.)

Page Six was also told that Smollett would complain about Daniels to Fox Execs quite often. The insider detailed Lee Daniels frustration with the way how Jussie moved stating:

“It was things like that that did not sit well with Lee,” said the insider. “He [was frustrated by] Jussie because he was constantly going over his head to Fox about their creative differences.”

Welp.

Daniels refutes Page Six’s reporting and in statement claims:

“The information regarding my relationship with Jussie prior to his departure from ‘Empire’ is false.” And “I have no personal or professional relationship with R. Kelly. I never have.”

Meanwhile, Juicy is still in hot water with the city of Chicago. Back in March, he lost his court battle to have the new charges levied against him thrown out.
