G.O.O.D. Music star Big Sean isn’t impressed. Sean Don has come forward to share his disgust with the five-year delay in firing New York police officer Daniel Pantaleo after killing Eric Garner.

This week, Sean went to Twitter to keep it 100 on Pantaleo only having to lose his job despite killing an unarmed black man in 2014.

After Monday’s firing, a police union president suggested cops slowly fallback on helping civilians.

“We are urging all New York City police officers to proceed with the utmost caution in this new reality, in which they may be deemed ‘reckless’ just for doing their job,” Patrick Lynch, the longtime president of the Police Benevolent Association, said Monday after veteran Officer Daniel Pantaleo was fired. “We will uphold our oath, but we cannot and will not do so by needlessly jeopardizing our careers or personal safety,” he added. Garner’s mother has since spoken out and vowed to continue addressing police brutality.

“We have other officers that we have to go after. You have heard the names. We know the wrongdoing that they have done,” Carr said, referring to other officers at the scene when her son died. “So I would like the press to put it out there, show the pictures, say the names, do the roll call because they all need to lose their jobs. But I’m still out here, I’m out here for the long run. You come out here against me, I’m out here. And you cannot scare me away. Yeah Pantaleo, you may have lost your job, but I lost a son.” (CNN)

According to reports, Pantaleo will not receive his NYPD pension and is expected to appeal the firing.

He will not receive his pension: Pantaleo, the New York police officer accused of fatally choking Eric Garner in 2014, has been fired and will not receive his NYPD pension, Commissioner James O’Neill said today.What his attorney said: Pantaleo’s attorney, Stu London, said that Pantaleo was “disappointed” and “upset,” but said that they planned to appeal the decision. NYPD Fires Officer That Killed Eric Garner

NYPD fired Daniel Pantaleo, the officer responsible for keeping the late Eric Garner in an illegal, fatal choke hold. Garner’s last words, “I can’t breathe” became the slogan for the protests against police brutality that year.

A state jury declined to indict Pantaleo on criminal charges, however, a civil rights investigation was launched in 2014. However, federal prosecutors said they weren’t charging him.

The decision to fire the disgraced officer was a recommendation by the department disciplinary judge. New York Police Commissioner James O’Neill made the announcement on Monday that Pantaleo was suspended while awaiting the commissioner’s decision.

“It is clear that Daniel Pantaleo can no longer serve as a New York City police officer,” Mr O’Neill said. “Had I been in Officer Pantaleo’s situation, I may have made similar mistakes,” he continued.

“None of us can take back our decisions,” he said, adding: “Especially when they lead to the death of another human being.”
