Soulja Boy is back with one more fact before 2024: “Crank That” would be insanely more popular today than it was when it first dropped.

Making a podcast appearance, Big Draco revealed the power of TikTok would have had his classic single out of here.

“Imagine if I had TikTok? What the fuck,” Soulja said. “Do you know how many people would have done the ‘Crank That’ dance?”

You can hear it from Soulja Boy below.

[WATCH] Soulja Boy Drops New Visuals For ‘Bust It Down’

IMG 6483

Soulja Boy vibes out and surrounds himself with women in his new video for his latest track, ‘Bust It Down.’

Big Draco has laid low for the majority of 2022 after an active 2021, where he performed on VERZUZ with Bow Wow, criticized Kanye West for taking him off of DONDA as well as a number of “1st rapper” claims in Hip-Hop. No matter the year or time period, Soulja Boy continues to do the latter.

Last month he took to Instagram Live to state his claim as the first rapper to start the “Big Trend.”

“Wasn’t nobody hollering this big sh*t before 2017,” says Draco. “2017 ni**a. I said Big Soulja ni**a. You know I started this sh*t.”

Whether there’s validity to the claim or not, Soulja Boy is renowned for his claims to being the first to do something. In the past, he has provided evidence to back his claims.

He recently performed at Rolling Loud New York and had a crowd full of Big Draco fans turning up during his set.

His new track, “Bust It Down” comes prior to his Rolling Loud performance. It shows that Soulja is ready to take 4th quarter of 2022 by storm.

Soulja Boy Apparently Has An Idea For McDonald’s That’s Worth $1B

Soulja Boy McDonald's

Lately, Soulja Boy has been in the news for being one of hip-hop’s biggest innovators. He claimed to have sparked many ideas in the culture, and now he has another one for McDonald’s, and he said it’s worth a billion dollars.

Big Draco took it to Twitter and reached out to the burger company about possibly collaborating.

He tweeted,

“I got a billion dollar idea  @McDonalds trust me”

McDonald’s responded in a tweet, “i’m listening”

Obviously, Soulja Boy is telling us that he has a secret ingredient for us but refuses to reveal the details until he and Micky Dee’s are official. If the partnership is complete, Soulja guarantees the idea is worth a billion dollars. He also said that the ingredients will go viral.

Also, if the deal with McDonald’s is complete, this is one thing Soulja Boy can’t say he was the first to do. Recently, McDonald’s partnered up with rapper Travis Scott for a meal on the menu.

Who knows if this will be official, but Soulja Boy for sure has McDonald’s attention.  This comes after the “Crank That” rapper claims that rappers in the industry are copying his “TikTok wave.”

Will you be getting the first Soulja Boy meal from McDonald’s?

TMZ caught up with Soulja Boy’s manager, Miami Mike, who revealed his stint in jail required Soulja to let go of lean and drugs. The result of dropping the bad habits has been a weight gain of 50 pounds in three months, pushing him up from the 130 he reportedly weighed prior to entering.

For Soulja, the cut of drugs also helps out his pockets as he is now saving between $500 and $800 a day by cutting the expensive habit.

Soulja Boy Gets Early Release From Prison

It looks like Soulja Boy has made another comeback in 2019. According to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department records, Big Draco was released early from jail Sunday (July 14).

Sources in the L.A. Sheriff’s Department told TMZ the viral rap sensation secured his release due to good behavior, time served and overcrowding. He’ll now be getting out 146 days early after originally being sentenced to 240 days in jail.

Soulja, whose real name is DeAndre Way, found himself locked because of a parole violation. According to reports, the judge considered sentencing him to as much as two years in prison but he only ended up serving a little over three months behind bars.

The multi-platinum selling artist and video game entrepreneur is not out of the woods yet. He still has to complete 265 days of community service, which was the source of his parole violation trouble. In April, he was arrested after failing to complete court-ordered community service and accused of attempting to falsify evidence of doing the work.

After the sentencing, Soulja’s attorney Fred Minassian told E! News, “We’re very thankful to the judge. The judge initially indicated that he would be sentenced for two years. We’re very grateful the judge sentenced him to 240 days.”

He continued, “My client is pleased that this situation is behind him, he accepts the judge’s sentence and is going to comply with all rules, regulations and directives of the court and the probation department.”

Quavo Says Soulja Boy Was ‘Speaking Facts’ With the ‘Versace’ Story

It looks like Soulja Boy and Migos have squashed their alleged beef of the past. The “Crank That” rapper’s Breakfast Club Interview took social media by storm last week after he claimed to give a number of rappers their first break. Since then many have verified Big Draco’s claims to be true. The latest truth comes from Quavo.

According to Soulja, he was the first person to record on the Zaytoven produced record, before Drake blessed the song and introduced Migos to the world. During The Breakfast Club Interview, Draco first shows Charlagmagne Tha God a recent DM from Takeoff, which solidifies that the beef is done. In a recent interview with Billboard, Quavo was able to verify Soulja Boy’s claims about the “Versace” song.

Zaytoven normally does this all the time, where he sends the same beat out,” said Huncho. “Growing up, I think I heard the song, it was like an “OMG” song. Then we ended up doing a harder record with some harder lyrics. Soulja most definitely influenced a lot of everybody’s work. He’s speaking facts. He hasn’t said anything wrong.”

The “OMG” record turn out to be “Teach Me How To Swag Part 2.” It was released in 2012, while Drake hopped on “Versace” a year later. There is no debate that Migos’ song had a bigger impact, but Soulja’s claim of influence holds up to be true. Listen to both songs below.

There you have it, ladies and gentlemen. It is no surprise that Soulja Boy has had our attention to start in 2019. Let’s see if he can maintain it.

Casanova Checks Soulja Boy on How to Speak to Women

Big Soulja gets schooled by Casanova.

It has been no secret that Soulja Boy has taken over the internet this week. His infamous Breakfast Club interview has already amassed over 6 million views. He has been a trending topic since his big rant. From his self proclaimed comeback in 2018 to teaching Drake everything he knows, Big Draco has been on a massive tear.

Yesterday Soulja ran into Casanova at Sirius XM. One thing led to another and Casanova had to school Soulja Boy on how he should treat women.

“You screamed at a lady. You bugging the f**k out homie,” said the “Don’t Run” rapper.

Soulja went on to explain himself.

“If they females, then they need to talk like females. Why she talking like she gangsta?” said Soulja.

Casanova was not hearing it. He was simply speaking principles. The conversation is quite entertaining but is one that was necessary at the moment. Draco’s security began to intervene. Although the Roc Nation artist disliked the security’s body language, he made sure the situation did not escalate.

The incident did not incite any beef or animosity between the two, but Cass was simply checking Soulja Boy on having respect for women.

In addition, last night the ASAP Mob held their annual Yam Days concert at the Barclays Center to honor their late friend and group mate, ASAP Yams. Performers included the ASAP Mob, Meek Mill, Young MA, and more. What would a big show be without the hottest entertainer in the game right now? Big Soulja made a cameo to give the people what they want. We’ll see what appearance Soulja Boy will make next. Hopefully, he’s learned a thing or two from Casanova.
