Trick Daddy Responds To Beyhive After Beyoncé Comment: “I’m More Afraid of Roaches Than Bees”

bb

This sure has been a week for Trick Daddy.

An audio clip surfaced on social media this past week of the Love and Hip Hop star giving his two cents on Jay-Z and Beyonce. In the clip, Trick Daddy said that Beyoncé “can’t sing” and that Jay-Z “ain’t never won the greatest rapper alive.”

Following the release of the clip, the Beyhive swarmed to Trick Daddy’s Instagram and flooded his posts with comments.

He then stopped by for an interview at Marc Lamont Hill’s BNC news, where he doubled down on his comments.

He explained that he was in a Clubhouse chat where they were talking about unpopular opinions and that people took what he said the wrong way. “The part about her not writing her songs…95 percent of all vocalists don’t write their own music, so that’s not a big issue. And I said that Jay-Z was to New York and the hip-hop scene in New York to what Beyoncé is in the R&B scene. … I said she can’t sang.”

He went on to say that there’s a difference between singing and “sanging,” suggesting that Beyoncé can’t compare to the likes of Whitney Houston, Mariah Carey, or Adele. “They probably didn’t hear what I said, they don’t understand what I’m saying because they’re trolls” he added.

Despite his criticisms of Beyoncé, he said that she’s “a hell of a performer.”

When asked if he had anything to say to the Beyhive, Trick Daddy commented by saying “How y’all doing, Beyhive? Wish y’all supported me as much, I sold a lot of records, ain’t never got nominated for no awards… I grew up with roaches, I’m more afraid of roaches than bees.”

You can watch the interview below.

Beyoncé’s Publicist Urges Beyhive Not to ‘Spew Hate in her Name’ Amid Nicole Curran Controversy

The Beyhive is notorious for attacking anyone who they feel threatens Beyoncé. However, there’s no actual way to tell if Queen Bey actually feels threatened or not because she keeps a low-profile for the most part.

The singer’s longtime publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, shared a message with her fan base about the importance of showing love to everyone.

“[The tour] was a place of joy, unimaginable entertainment from two of the best performers in the world, and a place of love,” Noel-Schure told fans. “Every single day on that tour I saw love. Which is why I also want to speak here to the beautiful BeyHiVE. I know your love runs deep but that love has to be given to every human. It will bring no joy to the person you love so much if you spew hate in her name.”

Nicole Curran, who’s married to the Golden State Warriors owner Joe Lacob, addressed the now-viral clip that sent the Hive in a frenzy.

“There was no hostility,” Curran, who says she invited the couple to the game and was simply asking if the couple wanted any drinks, reportedly told ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne. “I was trying to be a good hostess. I’ve never experienced cyber bullying like this. I can’t believe our players go through this. That kids go through this.”

Shelburne tweeted that Curran was receiving death threats and deactivated her social media after being attacked by the Beyhive.

The BeyHive is not happy after Tamera Mowry-Housley went on The Real and recalled a memorable moment with Jay-Z. The talk show host said she found herself asking for a piece of gum after being “hit” by the rapper’s charm.

In case you missed it, she talks about crushing on Hov below.

It’s worth noting, Tamera made it clear the exchange happened very long ago—her disclaimer didn’t stop the BeyHive from swarming her mentions, however…
