Hollywood superstars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence are inching closer to getting their Bad Boys 2 sequel production going. The duo linked up this weekend to watch their memorable flicks.

On Sunday, Big Willy went to Instagram and announced they had watched the first two films in prep of the next movie.

In mid-December, castings reports emerged about Will and Martin’s co-stars.

Alexander Ludwig, Vanessa Hudgens, and Charles Melton are on board to join Will Smith and Martin Lawrence in Sony’s “Bad Boys 4 Life,” sources tell Variety. Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah are on hand to direct the sequel from a script by Peter Craig (“The Hunger Games: Mockingjay,” “Transformers”) with Joe Carnahan also doing a rewrite. Chris Bremmer is the current writer. (Variety)

In November, Will Smith confirmed hype about a Bad Boys 3 movie going into production.

“I’m telling y’all! This is crazy! Wait, wait, just wait! It’s official! It’s official baby! It’s official! Bad Boys 3! It’s happening! It’s official! It’s official! I’m telling you! That’s it! No more! Y’all can’t handle no more of that!”
