Atlanta rapper Soulja Boy is a free man again. New reports claim Big Draco is once again free following months behind bars on a probation violation.

According to reports, SB once again tasted freedom after getting released this past weekend.

The 28-year-old rapper was released from a Los Angeles jail on Sunday just before 2 a.m., records show, after serving a little more than three months behind bars for a probation violation. He was originally sentenced to 240 days, and was freed almost five months early due to good behavior, time served and overcrowding, TMZ quoted the L.A. Sheriff’s Department as saying. (E! Online)

Back in the spring, Soulja Boy made headlines after getting handed a multi-month jail sentence.

In April, Soulja Boy was sentenced to serve 240 days in the L.A. County Jail after being found guilty of parole violation. These charges stem from a raid that took place at Soulja Boy’s house in February after he allegedly held an ex-girlfriend captive in his garage. Authorities discovered ammunition when they searched his property, resulting in a probation violation following a previous gun charge. Soulja Boy also failed to complete the court-mandated community service that was paired with his probation. Draco did at least catch a break when prosecution dropped his kidnapping charges in June. Earlier this year, rap manager Wack 100 went to Instagram with positive words and a promise to financially help SB during his legal jam.

The same week, SB received his lengthy punishment in a California courtroom as a result of violating his probation.

Soulja was in court Tuesday — and while his attorney said the rapper’s had an “awakening” during the last 20 days he’s been locked up — it clearly wasn’t enough to convince the judge to let him go easy. Soulja will start the sentence right away … and has credit for 40 days served.  The judge told Soulja he was originally considering sentencing him to 2 years in state prison but decided to give him some leniency. The judge also acknowledged that Soulja’s missed out on business opportunities while behind bars.  (TMZ)
